Toshiko had a curious look on her face when Viviana was talking about her own experiences. She hadn't understood the idea of arguing with her family--perhaps a sibling, but not a parent. That would be entirely too dishonorable. With a firm nod, the Japanese girl instead put a hand on the Italian's shoulder, giving her a deadly serious look.

"Viviana... Accera. It does not matter how long you have been here. Because you are my coworker, and you are my friend right now." She said the words with such a cadence that it was a bold statement for her. At the very least, Viviana seemed like she was alone, not unlike her, just in very different ways.

"We are... similar, I think," added Toshiko, studying her friend closely as she gave it some thought. "...Yes. I think we are." She added again, answering herself.

Viviana's face swapped to one of sombre thought for a moment, before a hand to her shoulder snapped her out of it. She'd shoot Toshiko a shut-mouth grin as she looked up, before she herself opted for another sip of her drink.

"Well...I'm not as wasted as you..." Viviana tried to add with a laugh, to turn things towards a more casual mood again.

The Japanese young woman stared at Viviana for a moment, unsure of how to take her comment. Then, suddenly, it came to her. She had been joking! Toshiko Ito's eyes lit up and she let out a fit of giggling and exclaimed, "I am not wasted!" She continued giggling until she moved her hand from Viviana's shoulder to her bicep, squeezing it gently and then stopping in her somehow adorable giggle fit to give her a more serious and slightly confused look.

"...What is wasted, Viviana?" asked Toshiko, actually having no idea what it meant to be wasted, despite her assurance that she absolutely was not. As she waited for an answer, their appetizer platter was put on the bar between them, and she shifted her focus there instead.

Viviana's own laugh suddenly cut to a halt, as Toshiko threw a curious question to her. What even did the context of wasted mean? She had heard the phrase used back home, but mostly in passing, and by those of greater, more familiar skill with English than her. Viviana could only guess, given when and how it was said.

"It means... It means...you're drunk! Obviously!" A hand slapping her own head as she tried to play off what she felt was obvious, whilst at the same time at best making a educated guess.

Toshiko looked from the previously delivered appetizers they had back to Viviana when she answered, looking bewildered by why in the world wasted would mean drunk, unable to connect the dots there. She went wide-eyed in surprise thought and concern, looking at her now empty glass. "Am I drunk? Is this bad? Am I okay?" asked Ito, not filtering any of her thoughts in her stupor when questioning Viviana, who obviously seemed more expert on the situation.

The sheltered Japanese girl glanced back at the giant platter of appetizers again, inspecting them as if she was unsure if they would be okay to touch, let alone eat.

Viviana couldn't help but continue with her playfulness, glaring back at the appetisers in tandem with her friend, almost as if they were under suspicion. She didn't say anything about it, but her eyes were certainly saying to Toshiko. "Well...are you going to take one?"

A second later however she would actually speak, in response to the query thrown her way.

"Why would it be bad? Unless..." She'd mutter in feigned concern, even putting a hand to her mouth as if she feared the worst. "...You have bad intentions?!" A smile quickly growing, as Viviana showed no actual concern of Toshiko committing to the usual drunken antics one such as her could adhere to.

Cautiously, Toshiko went to grab a cheese stick, squinting at it before letting it go and examining the grease on her fingers from it. She took a look at Viviana's expression and felt as if she should try it and grabbed a hold of one of cheese stick again, looking as though she would rather not attempt to eat something so clearly unhealthy. Then, Viviana had mockingly accused Ito of bad intentions, making the intoxicated girl look back at her in surprise.

"I don't have bad intentions!? I don't even know what bad intentions drunk people have!" exclaimed Toshiko in her defense. She then tore off a bit of the cheese stick and then continued, "Viviana, you can trust me. My intentions are pure. I will even eat this..." Toshiko stared at the cheese stick, having no actual idea what it was. "...This app." Pausing for a moment, debating whether or not to go through with it, the Japanese girl grimaced as she placed the piece of cheese stick in her mouth and began to chew.

Much to her surprise, she looked excited about it. "Mm! This is actually delicious! I think this is cheese?" Toshiko then began to eat the rest of the cheese stick, smiling happily now.

Viviana put her hand to her face, laughing through it as Toshiko's drunken splendour continued, with the topic quickly passing bad intentions onto the appetisers laid out before them.

"Yes..." She'd mutter with a laughing hum, as she picked up a stick herself before taking a bite. "It's cheese..."

Eating a whole lot faster than Toshiko because she knew what it was thereby had the bigger mouthfuls, Viviana's hand next went to an olive now amidst her fingers. One she raised not to eat, but to motion that she was about to throw it!

"Open wide...!" Her fingers motioning her intent, as she waited for Toshiko to open her mouth wide!

Toshiko was looking thrilled to be trying this new food--even such a simple thing as loaded nachos were such an interesting sensation! Having had such plain meals for so long, the Japanese wrestler was finding these apps to feel like her tongue was given such a savory taste!

Ito stopped from dipping another chip when Viviana called out to her and she looked over. Toshiko gave her a strange look at her request. Open up? Open up what? It would be apparent on her face that she was trying to parse this strange request. Then, Toshiko's eyes shot open and she pointed to her own mouth. "You wish for me to open my mouth!" exclaimed Toshiko excitedly upon understanding what she wanted.

Then, she opened up her mouth for her friend to throw an olive at her mouth. Toshiko, eager to catch it in her mouth, quickly jerked her face forward in an attempt to catch it, only for it to pop right off her forehead. Ito made a face that, somehow despite the girl's hardened appearance, looked rather adorable in her discouragement. "I can do this! Try again!" demanded Toshiko, opening her mouth again with a very drunkenly determined expression on her face.

Viviana only shot Toshiko an encouraging nod as the girl questioned what was happening, which didn't seem to matter as her muscular friend soon caught on. Not that it helped with her attempts to catch that olive, as Toshiko resembled a cute puppy too eager to the punch when a treat was thrown their way. Equipping a few more olives to hand, Viviana was eager to find success even if it took every one of them!

"Okay...Three...Two..." Mouthing the final call with her mouth, Viviana would throw the olive near enough on cue, this time in a more accurate manner than the last!
