Makie nodded again to both women. "Thank you, both of you," she said with a smile. "Next time I run into you, I promise, I'll have turned my losing streak around! Just you wait!"

And with that, Makie took up her gym bag and left, a smile on her face and more of a spring in her step. She felt much more confident now than she had previously, and much more ready to take on the rest of LAW.
