Kate just shook her head when hearing Mindy's reaction. It seemed she still thought that Kate would not have the guts to go through what she threatened her with. On top of that, she insisted on sticking to her overdramatic act even now, but that was fine, she could play along, even if she knew Mindy would not like that. "Midnight is just a moment, I, however, am here to stay!" She said pressing more of her weight onto the chair.

Counting on the woman to get some sense seemed counterproductive, she was stubborn way beyond her own good but then again, who was Kate to criticize that, just moments ago refusing to give up herself despite being literally hang on a nuse. She was however prepared for Mindy to stick to her guns and now looked to the side, taking a deep breath before releasing the pressure on the chair to instead run towards the apron. She would jump up, Landing with one leg on top of the structure and pushing off once more to get even more height as she then aimed to land with both her feet on the legs of the chair, snapping it shut around Mindy's ankle!

Mindy could almost appreciate Kate's comment since it was far more dramatic then her boring trash talk up until now...if only it wasn't when she had a foot on a chair threatening to snap her ankle into 200 pieces. She remained defiant and tried to pull her leg free until Kate put pressure on it, making the chair press down and stop any movement while the pain spread. "Mhhh." Mindy whimpered, refusing to cry out too much before Kate got off her, running to the ropes to come back with more speed to do what she threatened to do, driving her foot down on Mindy's foot and making sure the chair snapped down on her ankle as hard as possible.

"Aaaaaggggh!" Mindy screamed, feeling the chair squeeze down harder on her ankle and almost shatter between her skin and Kate's boots. The pain was excruciating, spreading up all the way to her thighs and making her leg feel numb from how she struggled to raise it up so she could comfort it, she wasn't sure if something broke yet, she could barely move the foot and touching it anywhere hurt like hell, forcing Mindy to scream like anyone would in her position, if Kate was any heavier that might've crushed her foot completely.

Kate oddly enough enjoyed the more dramatic quip she just threw, it was infuriating her when Mindy kept doing it but now, she could imagine why she was so fond of those, or at least, she enjoyed it exactly because it was the thing her opponent did flipped back at her. Either way, she could stand to entertain those theatrics a little longer. "You brought it on yourself. I warned you but it seems things of the night like you can't see the obvious in the light..." Was it too much? It felt a little silly to say this but either way, she did and now was reaching to the chair still loosely attached to Mindy's limb to violently pull it off the woman and throw it back.

Then she'd grab Mindy's hair close to her scalp and one of the woman's arms to force her up to standing. "Night always gives in to dawn, and we are about finished here." She'd say, dragging Mindy towards the ring to try and force her between the ropes, it was high time she drew the curtain on this performance

Right now Mindy didn't really have the time to do the same theatrics just as Kate was getting into them, her leg was hurting like hell and she could barely think past the pain. She moved her foot around gently to see and gauge the extent of the damage, feeling it get worse the more she turned it to the right but it wasn't so mind numbing that she couldn't move it around at all. The real test was whether Mindy could walk on it, something Kate forced her to find out by pulling her up to her feet.

"Ngggh!" Mindy hissed when she was forced up by her hair and then brought to her feet. The pain in her leg getting worse now that she was standing on it and dragged into the ring to be rolled through the ropes. All she could tell was that it stung, but was still able to walk around with it, Kate didn't do the damage she needed to immobilize Mindy's leg. Mindy wasn't able to say that yet, but that would cost Kate everything.

Following in after Mindy, Kate entered the ring, regarding her opponent for a moment. That last move with the overall focus Kate put on the woman's leg has certainly done a number and Kate doubted that her opponent would enjoy a stroll in the park for at least a few weeks, and that was assuming there were no injuries to ligaments and such. And though Kate could hardly care less about the actress, the thought of injuring someone when she could have avoided it rubbed her raw.

If Mindy was smart, she would just let Kate pin her right there and be done with it, no point taking that kind of risk, not at this point... then again, Kate has already given her opponent too much credit by assuming she would not make a scene beforehand, and then a few times in the match itself. That certainly was not a mistake Kate had any interest in repeating, and besides, all she had to do was to not hurt her leg, simple enough.

With that thought, she would approach the still grounded Mindy, raising her foot up to then try and stomp onto the woman's head, no matter who you were after all, unconscious you would have no tricks left.

Mindy checked her leg trying to feel how bad the damage was. If something was broken or just bruised, it was hard to tell because everything hurt and that made her body fire off all the panic alarms. However after a few seconds she was starting to feel the pain become more specific. It was mostly around her ankle, so Mindy tested things by turning her feet to feel how her ankle would react, and while it hurt, the fact that she could move it meant that she was dealing with a bruised ankle but somehow it looked like she avoided anything breaking. She had to try to stand up to find out for sure, but that was a real problem when Kate was already after her.

"Aggh!" Mindy screamed, her head bouncing off the mats after a brutal stomp that surprised her, she was still focused on her leg. She brought her hand to her head and laid there, rolling in place while trying to numb the pain. Eventually she did try to look up and see what she was doing, so that she could eventually counter her and get out of this mess.

A quick stomp followed by a scream of pain, if Kate was perfectly honest, she would have taken silence in its sted, that could at least mean that Mindy was out cold and she could not wait to be done dealing with the actress. But it was not the time yet apparently so she'd just have to satisfy herself by hurrying it along and in that she would most certainly not be waiting for Mindy to get another one of her bright ideas.

Immidiatly after the stomp, Kate would go to grab the woman behind her neck and thigh, trying to heart her up above her head in a deadlift military press. If she could do that she would take a few steps with Mindy held up, turning around for the audience before she'd drop her opponent right on top of her knee with a backbreaker!

Mindy's pain was growing, but she remained conscious for better or worse, she knew that she was going to be fighting through the pain no matter what. To fall to slumber would be to succumb to the darkness that she should control as Mindy Midnight, and that was an honor Kate didn't get to accomplish. She'd endure hell to deny it and Kate was already pulling her up to make sure that she did, she was forced on the muscular fighter's shoulders and held up to look at the lights, long enough to know something was about to happen before she was dropped onto a knee.

"Aagggh!" Mindy screamed her back arching over the knee hard and causing enough pain that she felt it travel down both ends of her spine from the pint of impact, making her head and legs tingle with pain. She was in so much pain just laying there but trying to sit up hurt too much as well, she had nowhere to go where the suffering would stop, nowhere but where Kate wanted her to go.

Kate dropped Mindy down, looked at the effects of her handiwork, and let out a sigh. At this point, continuing to fight would grow riskier by the second. A chance of injury was always there, and with all that transpired, Kate would be surprised if either of them would look forward to the next week or two once the adrenaline died down. She also hoped that in whatever state her opponent's mind now was, she realized it as well.

"I think you had enough..." She'd say, going to roll Mindy over and grabbing her leg to hook it while going for the cover. Be it the actress's body refusing to cooperate, or less likely, common sense, Kate was hoping to put a stop to the match right there!

The human body was fragile and right now Mindy's body felt like it was made of porcelain. Everything felt shattered in her moment of pain and the easy route would be to lay down and take the pin she knew was coming. Feeling Kate pushing her over to administer it seemed like the right thing to do after nearly getting battered into a final submission. The human spirit however was stubborn in spite of that weak and fragile body and even though common sense ran through her skin. Mindy's spirit told her to fight and Mindy always had a stronger spirit than most.

Letting the wave of energy that made Mindy Midnight possible in the body of Karen Meadows, Mindy pushed her arm up and roared with defiance in the face of defeat, she was not going to let this moment be taken from her, she would not be robbed of a PPV victory. She would even sit herself up and look at Kate, saying nothing while also telling the girl everything.
