Piper nodded at Ayane about dating. Although that was one sentiment she may have to disagree with.. for now at least. After all she liked the idea of either dating or at least having 'fun' with people she at least liked but it wasn't worth getting into right now. Especially since the match on screen seemed to be heating up as Ayane said making one of Piper's eyebrows raise up.

Watching as the prime Ayane on screen transitioned into a waist lock the blonde would watch as the woman tripped the males knees up from behind, bringing him down to the mat with enough force to make her cringe before switching to a sleeper. "So you like, adapted you're style basically?" Looking up from the screen again Piper nearly missed Tormenta slipping from Ayane's grasp only to suffer a elbow to the face for his struggles as the woman straddled him and started unleashing blow after blow.

Ayane's on screen self was acting fast despite dealing with a bigger and stronger male opponent, first trying to choke him down with a sleeper even as she felt him fighting back and pulling at her arms and when he was on the ground Ayane would change things up and try to move on top so she could start throwing punches to wear him down. All of this was just an opening start but he could still block it despite himself, Ayane would change things up again and just press down on his face trying to smother him under her.

"Not quite, more appropriately I played it safe, starting off with simple moves before changing my offense to a style meant for taking down whoever I fought. I need time to see how they are going to come at me, and once I know I take that into account and play my style up however I need to. In his case I knew that keeping him from escaping would ensure victory, he's faster then me and can endure so much but he was unprepared for just how bad I can get when I have someone in my clutches." Ayane said and she proved as much by grapevining his legs and trying to keep him trapped to the floor and forced to fight for air from under the smother. Her smile was on full display and it was clear she was enjoying the state of control she had.

Piper nodded while watching the match, interest completely fixated on the events on the screen as Ayane took control of the match early on. Seeing how this woman, who wasn't tiny by any means, er at least at the time of the match was taking place in at least, taking control of someone so much bigger and more powerful was... inspiring. Ayane's words, lesson? Whatever, also rang all the more true as she changed tactics for a smother.

Although the made Piper get a slightly comical pout. "Wish I could do that." She said softly under her breath while tightening her arms over her own smaller bust, but she paid attention regardless. For a moment the man under Ayane struggled in the woman's smother. But he would twist on his side, throwing off Ayane's balance before throwing his leg up to drive his knee into Ayane's back to force the woman off of him.

Ayane had focused on the match, reliving old days always put a smile on her face especially for a day such as this which ended one of her bigger feuds. The breast smother didn't get the desired results, even if it did throw her opponent off his game but when he fought back and finally sent him off her Ayane remembered the frustrating sequence of events that followed.

"In time I'll show you how to do other things that would get the same result. But what I want you to pay attention to is how one can bounce back, even from stuff like this." Ayane said as she was getting up so did the masked man, and when she tried to kick him he moved out of her way slipping past her and bouncing off the ropes with impressive speed. By the time Ayane turned to face him he was already too close to dodge and knocked her down with a running kick to the chest that was just used to smother him.

Piper winced as the masked wrestler's foot connected with the younger Ayane's chest. Even if it happened decades ago it still looked like it hurt like a bitch. But it was only made worse when the male refused to give Ayane a chance to recover. Before she could get up the man had lifted the woman up himself and swung her back with a german suplex.

Wincing again as she saw that Piper turned to look up at Ayane with a raised brow at one of the things she said. "I see. Bounce back.." She said to herself while drumming her fingers along her thigh. Bouncing back was... something Piper had issues with before in the past. Pain, especially excruciating levels of it always held her back and she had issues bouncing back. But Ayane had promised her that this would help her... So she would watch.

While Ayane was talking it was clear her past self could use something to help her out, while she was being dragged by her stronger opponent it was clear that the grip around her waist wasn't budging before he lifted her up and slammed her back down with a second German suplex. The crowd seemed to be getting louder with him in control and as she was brought up for a third time she began to struggle, during her struggles she blocked the ref from view and quickly kicked backwards between Halcon's legs.

In real life Ayane smiled as the crowd's attitude shifted but before the ref could note anything Ayane slipped out of his grasp and rolled him up, only getting a 1 and a half count before he kicked out. "In that moment, there were a number of things I could have done, I stuck to that because of how quickly I could make it work. But breaking his grip by getting a hold of a finger would work." Ayane said with the match back in her control and her stomping on Halcon's back.

As Piper watched the match she noted how much trouble the older woman was, and she found herself questioning how the purple haired woman was planning on getting out of this. But she would soon get her answer in the form of a sneaky kick between the legs. Grinning viciously in appreciation for the move Piper had to admit she had gotten more into the match than she expected and it showed with the way she mini popped for that pop.

As Ayane explained the logic behind it, and how she could have alternatively bent a finger, Piper found herself shaking her head in disagreement. "Nah haha that was way too awesome. Definitely my speed." She said in appreciation for what the woman had done before watching her go on the attack with some stomps to the man's head. Only for him to try and grab at the purple haired woman's heel, apparently trying to pull her off of her feet.

Piper's approval showed that Ayane had picked the right one between the two of them, progress was achieved much faster when both of them were on the same page. Her dirty trick only got her a moment of respite before she was pulled to the mat and pounced on, the two grappling for control until eventually Ayane was pinned to the mat where a few punches invaded her tight abs. But now that she had Piper hooked she knew she would be willing to listen to her more.

"So I see you have a willingness to do whatever, that's good, that kind of attitude is what will get you further here." Ayane said looking away from the screen to look at her. "Learning how to wrestle is important but we must also learn something else that is important, in a fight you must do whatever it takes to win. In wrestling the same rule applies, the rules are only a bind for someone who doesn't know how to be creative with them." Ayane said proudly focused on Piper and if she was listening or not.

It appeared Piper had said the right thing to Ayane since a look of... approval? Pride? She wasn't quite sure passed upon the woman's face, and it definitely felt like the atmosphere within the car had changed. Looking up at the woman Piper's attention gradually shifted as the match on the screen went to the backround for her, instead turning her focus on the older woman and what she had to say.

As she spoke Piper found herself agreeing with pretty much everything Ayane said. Half of it had already been hammered into Piper's head by Sandra but the way Ayane was putting it... It felt next level in a way. Nodding along Piper found herself smiling, gradually warming up to the purple haired elder. "Hehe... I really like how you put that... You really speak my language ya know that?" She asked while looking into Ayane's eyes, with it being clear now that the woman had previously held Piper's attention, but now their was hints of admiration in the blonde's green eyes.

Now she had gotten Piper's full attention the match playing in front of them started to become more of a background to them, with Ayane making sure to give Piper her full attention and make her feel important. That was the first real step, it was obvious despite Piper's confidence that her losses weighed down on her and if she wanted to move past them she would need to accept those losses as setbacks of her past self and grow into the new Piper she was planning to mold.

"Of course. I know it because it's only language someone with real winning potential speaks, that's why you're here and that Miranda went home, she might be good at this but she'll never excel. You however have a far higher ceiling, we just need to see how far you can go before you reach it but trust me it's high enough to accomplish everything you want and more in LAW." Ayane said, she knew Piper was interested she played the match to so she could see for herself what Ayane did to make it this far and now that Piper knew she could be useful she would be willing to listen which was all Ayane needed.
