Deadly Nightshade - Finlay Zeffer vs Karen Meadows

The stretch by the sounds of it had been quite effective in wearing Karen/Mindy down and making her back burn in pain. Something he could tell even easier when he finally kicked the ex starlet away and could see her writhing and clutching her back in pain. Perfect. That was what he needed right now in order to expand his lead.

"Sorry I couldn't quite hear that. Mind speaking up?" He asked almost mockingly at her muttered curses towards him, the attitude of his opponent bringing out a side of him he wasn't used to showing. But it was no matter. Getting up fully to his feet the blonde would eye his opponent carefully, wanting to try and land this next move with care as opposed to power. So with a burst of power from his good leg FInlay would leap up into the air and perform a front flip, trying to land a standing shooting star press on Karen/Mindy's hurting back!

Mindy was fully prepared to kick this guys ass, and she would as soon as she came at her and trying to tend to her hurting back. Finlay was eyeing her up and trying to flip at her and take to the skies to come down on her back. Seeing the shadow come close and jump up made Mindy realize how bad things were for her and she would quickly turn to avoid getting it all on her back.

Turning out of the way of Finlay's shooting star press and making sure he only found the canvas to flatten himself on. She would turn to see how he hit the mat and would try to turn and get up to her feet, despite the pain in her back trying to make her stay down. She would do her best to ignore it and keep fighting to her feet wanting to beat Finlay up so she could go back on the attack and follow up on her promise to kick his ass.

Finlay had taken control of the match successfully and was unwilling to allow Karen the chance to turn the tides again. As such he had hit her with attack after attack that targeted her back, a sore area that was keeping the woman debilitated. So after bombarding her he had climbed the ropes as fast as he was able to do with his injured leg. Admittedly longer than he would like, but looking down Karen was still down and vulnerable which is all the motivation he needed to leap up going for the high risk move!

However it was considered high risk for a reason. Despite making sure Karen was still on the mat before he took flight it appeared to have been a ploy by his opponent, a ploy that had worked since with a timely roll she avoided the brunt of his attack... Causing the blonde to crash and burn against the mat. "GAH!" Screaming out in pain from the impact his body had against the mat Finlay dropped down while holding his own back in pain from the impact, stunned and in pain from the failed move. In spite of that however, Finlay was still pushing himself to get his feet under him and try to struggle his way towards his feet to continue to face Karen!

Karen being the expert she was had managed to avoid getting into a sticky situation by letting that kind of move hit her while she was down. Now Finlay got to see what it was like to have an aching back, surely that would be a reminder for him of just how tough Mindy Midnight was to be enduring such pain that was crippling him. She was getting up and could see him trying to power through and do the same, but this was to her advantage, she knew what to do next now that he would be concerned about getting up to counter a big move.

Pouncing towards the large man Mindy was about to hit with her entire body, most assumed that she would go for a tackle like this but she found you would get less resistance going for a limb. Going low as Finlay came up she would full on drop and try to tackle his leg, making sure to aim for the one she had worked on earlier and send him tumbling back down like a house of sticks that just lost it's support.

Finlay winced and groaned softly as he stood up slowly, his back and leg aching in pain as a result from the failed aerial move, the impact having reignited the damage Karen/Mindy had deakt earlier to him. But he wouldn't let it hold him back, he couldn't. He needed to stand up and show Karen he wasn't about to be brought down by her, not for long, whether she was Mindy Midnight or Karen Meadows didn't matter. All that mattered to him was that he would win.

However as he finally managed to stand up onto his feet he would look over at his opponent only to see a blur coming right for him! "Gyah!" Screaming in pain from the sudden chop block to his bad knee Finlay collapsed right to his back again, clutching his knee with a wince of pain, unable to do anything at the moment!

She felt stiff as a board thanks to the work on her back making bending it in any direction an ill advised tactic but she still found herself able to send Finlay down to the floor by focusing on his bad leg. Watching him topple was a good enough adrenaline booster for Mindy and she knew that to win she would have to make sure that she never stopped taking down that leg until he was beaten, grabbing his legs she would set him up for a painful submission hold.

"You've forced my hand here, Since you won't stay down I'll just have to make sure you can't stand up." Mindy said slowly twisting his leg into a Figure 4 submission hold and making sure his bad knee was the centerpiece she would fall back on bending and forcing Finlay to suffer through the submission.

Finlay was in an incredibly bad position at the moment, the pain in his legs having been reignited from that crash and burn. Not only that but he was on his back and before a rather bloodthirsty opponent, one that wouldn't hesitate to target said injured leg. So when she went to grab his legs he wasn't shocked whatsoever when the former actress immediately set about twisting his legs within her own!

Pushing his hands down on the mat he attempted to push himself up, sideways, anything to try and escape the hold. But Karen was too quick for him to act. Before he could do anything in retaliation however Karen had managed to lock in the submission completely! "Gahhhh!" Screaming in pain Finlay arched his back and desperately tried to reach the ropes but they were far too away right now! All he could do was anguish in the ruthless figure four his opponent had trapped him in!

The little intermission that was Finlay's comeback had been halted and going back to the leg she had made a weakness Mindy made sure to watch his face contort in pain for putting her back through that mess, she wanted him to suffer like no other. Fan or not Mindy would never let herself be used like that and it was time Finlay learned his lesson, and judging by the way he was reaching for the ropes that were just out of reach it was going to be a hard lesson to learn. Now for Mindy she was all smiles watching him this way, another wrestler finding themselves shrouded under her awesome might.

"Does it hurt? Just remember what you tried to put my spine through while you suffer in this. Maybe when I'm done with you, you can be even more useful and spread the word of what happens when you mess with the fighter who's heart is as black as midnight!" Mindy said doing everything she could to add to the pressure and Finlay's pain.

Not good. Not good at all. Finlay's position was not one to be envied right now. Trapped in Mindy's figure four near the center of the ring the blonde's lower limbs felt like they were about to burst from the pressure being put on them. 'So.. far.' He thought to himself looking above him to see the ropes, still quite a ways away from him. Looking up across from him he saw the smug look of his opponent and glared before cringing in pain again as another flare of pain went up his legs.

"Grahhhh!" Roaring out in pain as Mindy added even more pressure on his limbs the male's body acted almost before his mind could process as he swung his hand against the mat repeatedly, tapping out to Mindy!

Karen's mind was focused despite her own pain but she could tell Finlay was going through hell as she tortured the poor bastards leg. He was fighting it as best he could but nothing was going to save him from her pushing the hold to it's limits to break him. Eventually he had no choice but to get out the only way he could and tapping out, the ref called for the bell and Mindy would smirk before holding things even tighter before she would break the hold to let the loser go and take in the sound of her undeniable victory.

"Don't cry about it kid, when up against me the odds were never bright." Mindy said before she let the ref help her up so she didn't strain her back even more and once she was on her feet she was taking a few steps to embrace the crowd's approval despite her aggressiveness near the end. She loved it almost as much as victory and she couldn't deny this was a good victory.
