Yuki Onna vs. Michiko Shimizu - Breaking Momentum

Yuki managed to catch Michiko in midair before hitting her with a gutbuster. Still, Yuki wasn't fully recovered, and she wasn't in the right shape to follow up with her next move, and after hitting her opponent with the gutbuster, the cerulean-haired wrestler would push her opponent off her knee, groaning as she would then fall forward.

Her body was aching terribly and she couldn't get herself to continue with her attacks. So, she decided to test her luck and try to go for a pinfall attempt. She would place herself on top of Michiko, though this time, she didn't hook her leg as she would merely drape herself over her opponent. The referee came forth and started counting for the pin.

"ONE!"

Michiko already thought she had victory in her sights, as she had gone sailing down towards Yuki, ready to crash down on her with her full body weight behind her. She wasn't expecting Yuki to snatch the moment away from her at the last minute, as she stuck up her knees - but, already in motion, Michiko couldn't do anything to stop herself. It only took a few short seconds before Yuki's knees dug upwards into her midsection, leaving her falling backward in a less than graceful fashion. In that moment, Michiko was left staring up at the lights, clutching her gut with a pained moan.

Yuki, of course, was already on the move, falling on top of Michiko, and the pin count began.

"TWO!"

The whole arena was tense. This could have been it. But suddenly, Michiko's shoulders rose, as she powered her way out from under Yuki, leaving the blue-haired girl to fall back from her. From there, Michiko pulled herself away, trying to get more distance between them as she panted for breath. She would have to calm herself down and recenter herself in preparation for their next clash. Ordinarily, that would be a dangerous prospect, with how ready Yuki had been to take control of the action. But Michiko could see something else in her opponent, and her eyes narrowed to her with a nod, considering it. From how she hadn't even hooked her leg, it seemed that Yuki was running out of steam. Now that she had missed her chance, Michiko thought, it wouldn't be so hard to take her down.

It turned out that her pinfall attempt after hitting Michiko with a gutbuster had failed, and Yuki grunted as she was left on the mat, her body aching due to all the damages that she had taken. Despite her delivering her attack on Michiko earlier, Yuki seemed to be running on fumes at this point, and she was left exhausted and unable to immediately make her next move, and this could be capitalized on Michiko.

Still, Michiko didn't immediately take advantage of her current condition, and Yuki would try to move away from her, rolling towards the ropes in hope to pull herself back up. Once she reached the ropes, she would then try to pull herself up, bringing herself back on her feet. Her blue hair cascaded down her face, obscuring one of her crimson eyes. She panted heavily while supporting herself using the ropes. She would direct her gaze at Michiko so that she could see what she was up to.

Michiko wasn't exactly at the top of her game herself. The match had been wearing her down just as much as it had been to Yuki, and she was beginning to feel the soreness set in as she worked her body to its limits. Now, as she rolled off to the side of her opponent and got to her knees, Michiko looked up, flicking her ponytail back over her shoulder to stare Yuki in the eye. She took in a few pants of her own, but quickly steeled herself, going tense and forming a fist. If Michiko wanted to win this match, she would have to do so soon, before her own strength failed her.

Pushing herself back to her feet, Michiko looked over to see where Yuki was laying against the ropes. In that moment, as the blue-haired girl tried to catch her breath, she was open - and that was a moment Michiko could seize upon. The soreness in her legs quickly faded from her concerns as she pushed herself to charge forward, attempting to close in on her opponent. As Michiko got within range, she looked to hurl herself forward, her legs held out to try and hit Yuki with a dropkick as she bellowed out a battle cry!

Yuki was currently at the ropes, trying to recover and pull herself up, but it seemed that Michiko wasn't about to give her any chance to get herself back up as she started moving. She started running towards Yuki before throwing herself forward, hitting Yuki with a dropkick!

"AAGHH!!!"

Yuki cried out in pain as she took the hit, and she recoiled from the ropes after taking the dropkick. She was sent close to the center of the ring, and she ended up being in a heap on the mat, lying on her stomach. She wheezed in pain, her body terribly aching, especially the spot where she was struck by Michiko's dropkick earlier. Her hair splayed on the mat as her cheek touched the canvas. She was in terrible pain right now, and things didn't look too good for the cerulean-haired beauty at the moment.

Michiko put all her focus into this charge, shoving herself off her feet as she closed in on Yuki. Even if she was growing tired, Yuki was worse off - and she figured that this dropkick would prove an efficient use of her failing stamina. Sure enough, as she catapulted herself in closer, her feet buried themselves in Yuki's stomach, and the two of them went down in the center of the ring!

Michiko had fallen onto her back by the blue-haired woman's side, but she was the first to rise. She rolled herself over onto her stomach before she pushed herself up, looking around to survey the results of her efforts. She saw that Yuki was down now, and vulnerable should Michiko decide to push her advantage. And that, of course, was exactly what Michiko was going to do. Drawing closer, Michiko grabbed Yuki by the leg, going to lift her up and roll her onto her back. After that, she would turn around, bending Yuki's leg and locking it onto her other one before she would let herself drop down and compress Yuki's legs with her own, into a figure four leglock!

Yuki was left battered after everything that she had received, and she was gasping for air as she tried to recover from the damages that she had taken. Her body was glistening with sweat at this point, and her blue hair splayed on the mat as she tried to regain her bearing. But Michiko managed to get up, and she decided to take advantage of Yuki's downed state to continue with her offense.

First, Michiko grabbed Yuki by her leg before she rolled her over onto her back. Then, she started locking Yuki's legs with hers, putting her into a figure four leglock, which caused intense pain on her limbs. Yuki's eyes widened as she started to register the pain from the hold. "AAHHHHH!!!" She cried out in pain, trying her best to endure it, but for the time being, she was in deep trouble as she struggled so that she could start moving.

Everything went off in accordance with Michiko's plan, and soon enough she had won control over her opponent. Smirking to herself confidently, the lilac-haired girl dropped down, bringing herself into a figure four leglock - and putting the pain down on Yuki in the process! A wider grin crossed her face. She was confident now that she could take charge!

Leaning back further, Michiko arched her back off the mat, looking to add to the pressure she was forcing against Yuki's legs. She felt her position being tested as the blue-haired girl began to twist back and forth, and her grip loosened ever so slightly against the moving target. For the most part, though, Michiko held firm, her brow furrowing as she tried to keep her place. "Come on..." she muttered to herself. She could only wonder how much longer Yuki would hold on

Yuki remained trapped in the figure four leglock, and she struggled as she attempted to escape. Still, Michiko kept the hold tight, and Yuki had no choice but to try moving backwards, looking to get herself closer to the ropes so that she could seize it, getting herself a rope break. The figure four leglock seemed to have put some strain on her lower limbs, and Yuki struggled to endure the hold despite the pain was getting more unbearable by each passing second.

"Hnnghhhh... ngahhhhh...!!!"

There was desperation in her face as she attempted to get closer and closer to the ropes, hoping to find liberation from the rope break. She knew that she would be left weakened even if she was freed from the hold, but the only way for her to prevent herself from tapping out was to get herself a rope break.

It had turned to a battle of endurance. For Yuki, her chances at survival depended on how well she would be able to outlast the pressure Michiko was inflicting on her, and for Michiko, she just had to hold on as long as possible, hoping that Yuki would give out before her hold did. The strain was, regardless, beginning to show in her as well, as she clenched her teeth, her fingers growing tense as she tried to brace herself against the mat the more she squeezed. Just a little more, she thought to herself.

However, Michiko couldn't hang on forever. Although she wouldn't lose Yuki entirely, as the fatigue began to set in, her legs slowly began to loosen and slip back from her opponent's - and that opened things just enough for Yuki to gain a little bit more mobility, dragging herself closer to the ropes, where her hand would land just in time. The referee whistled for Michiko to break up the hold, and she obeyed. The lilac-haired woman rolled into a seated position on the mat, catching her breath and wiping the sweat off her brow, as she looked over at Yuki. Even if she couldn't finish her off this way, she thought, that was sure to deal some damage, and she was sure Yuki would feel it for the rest of the match.

At the same time, though, Michiko had to give Yuki some credit for enduring this long, even after putting up with everything Michiko was throwing at her. "You're good...you know that?" she muttered.
