Lauren Fredericks vs. Megumi Mutoh: Shot At Redemption!

Lauren groaned as she was pulled off the table, her ears ringing and whole body aching from top to bottom. She had blurry vision and was putty in Megumi's hands as she was kneed in the abdomen and rolled back into the ring! Lauren coughed and cradled her abdomen as she rolled trying to be resilient as she rolled onto her stomach, gasping for air as she struggled up to her hands and knees!

"I can't.... not tonight!" She panted, struggling to get up to her feet as Megumi entered the ring to continue the match.

Reentering the ring, Megumi looked at Lauren who was on her hands and knees. She would come over to her, bending down to grab her by her head to get her back up on her feet. Once she got the bigger woman standing, Megumi would hold her by her head before she reared her other arm back, clenching her fist before she went to throw a vicious forearm smash right across her chest!

Right after that, Megumi planned to follow up the forearm smash with an uppercut under Lauren's chin, smacking her fist there to deal a massive damage on the heavyweight.

Lauren felt herself pulled up to her feet and the forearm smash sent her stumbling back a couple steps, her arms flailing out to the sides as the dazed heavyweight was barely able to stand.

The uppercut sent her head whipping back as her body fell limply to the mat, the big woman motionless after the strike save for her chest rising as she drew breath!

After the uppercut, Lauren fell onto her back, and Megumi saw this as her opportunity to seize a victory. She would quickly get herself down onto Lauren, going for a cover as she would grab one of her legs, pinning her down. The referee would come over next to them, starting to count for the pin.

"ONE!"

Lauren was moaning in pain, stuck in a daze that only kept getting worse each time she took a shot to the head. Her vision was blurred and her ears rang a bit.

"TWO!"

That snapped her out of it... somewhat. Lauren thrust a shoulder in the air, twisting her side to ensure that she broke the pin count after two! She flopped back to the mat, gasping for breath after preventing her loss right then and there.

Seeing that Lauren still managed to kick out, Megumi huffed as she got up from Lauren, thinking of a better way to put the bigger woman down for good in this match. She would then get on her feet, pulling Lauren with her to get her on her feet as well. Right after that, she would make sure to hold her on her wrist so that she could send her running towards the corner with an Irish whip.

Upon sending her there, Megumi planned to follow after her, running at her direction before leaping up into the air, delivering a corner dropkick into Lauren's body, driving both her boots into whatever part of Lauren was facing her.

Lauren groaned as she heard the background noise of the crowd booing her kickout, but cheering Megumi's continued assault! Lauren was hapless, unable to fight back as she was barely able to process what was going on at this point.

She was whipped into the corner moaning weakly as her back crashed into the turnbuckle. She swayed her head about and screamed in pain as Megumi hammered her chest with a running dropkick! Lauren dropped down to a sitting position at the base of the turnbuckle, wheezing weakly as she sat there, unable to fight back!

Seeing her opponent after delivering the dropkick, Megumi decided that it's about time to end it. With Lauren slumping against the corner, the former Wrestle Angel stepped back after getting up, giving herself a distance between her and her opponent. Then, she would run towards her, leaping up into the air to deliver a Shining Wizard at the corner!

With the Shining Wizard, she would deliver her first attack with her right knee, following it up with her left knee to the opposite side of her head.

Lauren looked over and saw the red clad phenom rushing at her. Small, fit, firm, popular, gorgeous.... Megrim really was the whole package. Lauren was older, had cellulite bumps on her legs and backside a little... and was less marketable in the bosses eyes. She grit her teeth trying to show that old dogs could learn new tricks even against the odds!

Lauren let out a howl as she rushed forward moving in to grab an airborne Megumi, turning her shining wizard attempt into a ring shaking spine buster!

Megumi was in midair in her attempt to land the Shining Wizard when Lauren suddenly regained her life, grabbing her in midair before bringing her down hard into the mat with a ring shaking spinebuster. "Uaagghhh!!!" She screamed out in pain from the impact, and while she had taken much worse bumps before, the spinebuster was enough to stop her momentum, leaving her dazed on the canvas.

Hoping that Lauren would not take advantage of her dazed state, Megumi would try to kick out her legs before rolling over, grunting from the pain on her back as she did so.
