Celebrating Our Successes (For Bare)

With Sanae having pile-driven Alizeh into the sand, the fight had all but been driven out of the middleweight's body. By all accounts, Sanae wouldn't even need to put her in a submission hold after the fact. But Sanae did anyway - she knew Alizeh was a master of submissions, and she knew Alizeh had set her on the path of improving her own submission skills. She had already shown her how far she had come when she had beaten her in a submission match, and even more so when she defeated the Venus of Submissions herself. But to Sanae, nothing would truly demonstrate her newfound mastery than taking Alizeh's own finishing move and turning it against her. And that was just the cherry on top of the torrent of punishment she'd unleashed - so much that Alizeh couldn't bear it any more!

Soon enough, she tapped out. And that was when Sanae knew it. She had grown strong enough in submissions that she had even been able to master the Emerald Twilight, and force the woman who used it herself to submit! Sanae had always been a quick learner, but this in particular felt like a long-awaited payoff - and there was perhaps no bigger proof than the success she had felt right here and now! At once, Sanae let go of Alizeh - but she jumped up in the air, thrusting a fist high overhead. "YES!!" she cheered - and the entire crowd broke out into cheers and applause to echo her!

For a moment, Sanae stood there with her hands on her hips and her chest thrust out proudly, soaking in all the attention she was getting from the onlookers. She was all about putting on a good show and sending people home happy, and this was sure to be a show no one would forget any time soon! She felt a tingle running through her from head to toe just thinking of all the admiration and adoration that everyone looked at her with. But at the end of the day...she couldn't forget about Alizeh. Alizeh wasn't her enemy. She was perhaps Sanae's closest friend, and the lightweight wasn't going to leave her out of the festivities.

Turning back to the fallen Alizeh, Sanae held her hand out to guide her back to her feet. "You all right, there?" she asked. "You did good...I don't want you to forget that!"

Well... that was a little more humiliating than Alizeh had anticipated in all honesty. Sure she didn't really care about winning or losing. Hell the only reason they had even 'fought' was for the purposes of distracting the crowd while they were acting a fool whilst drunk. No the embarrassing part was how Alizeh lost, having a a hold that she perfected used against her like that was kind of a big deal. Not to say she wasn't proud of Sanae for being able to do that, but it was a bit of a wake up call for how far Sanae had progressed, more so then even when she had lost in their apex qualifier.

Looking up and seeing a hand offered down to her Alizeh take a few breaths before accepting the offered hand and getting pulled up to her feet. "I'm fine. Nothing my ego won't recover from." Alizeh said with a laugh though she didn't know how true it was as she got back up to her feet and dusted the sand from herself before smiling a little at what Sanae had said.

"Heh, you know I remember when I was the one telling you that." She said with a wink towards the girl before turning towards her. "You've really grown Sanae, hehe, I may have to make you my first challenger when I win the open weight belt." She said starting to forget about the loss already as she remembered why she and Sanae were friends to begin with, and being able to talk with her so easily while being somewhat competitive was a big factor there.

If nothing else, Alizeh had succeeded at the goal she had set out to accomplish. After the spectacle the two girls had just shown the world, their drunken antics were nowhere near the forefront of anyone's mind, and they weren't even the first thing Sanae was concerned with either! The idol had just faced another heart-pounding match against the woman who had inspired her to strive for success like no one else ever could, and not only had she stood up to and matched her efforts every step of the way, she had been able to beat her! Sanae was still basking in the afterglow of a hard-fought victory, and that wasn't about to wear off any time soon, if the eager grin on her face was any indication. To her, it didn't even matter that it hadn't taken place in a LAW ring. It was just as great of a spectacle as any official match would be - and without a doubt, any onlookers would agree!

Alizeh got to her feet, and as soon as she had done so, Sanae pulled her into a tight hug - in fact, she threw herself against the middleweight with enough force that she could well have swept her off her feet if she wasn't careful! But she wrapped her arms tightly around her nonetheless, pulling her close against her chest. "That was awesome!! Don't feel bad, Alizeh, you did great!" But when Alizeh pointed out how far Sanae had grown in her mastery of her craft, that was something that could only make the beaming grin on her face grow wider and wider. Sanae already knew that she was making leaps and bounds in her career - but if Alizeh Midori, the same woman who had inspired her to set herself on the path of greatness so long ago, could see that in her, that truly sent her heart aflutter!

"I think you mean, when I win the Openweight belt," Sanae added with a giggle. "But either way...I think, after all that, if either of us wins it, it'll be well-deserved. In fact...you reminded me of just how much I love facing off against you, Alizeh." She winked in her friend's direction.

"When we get back to LAW...wanna plan on another match some time? One where we don't need to worry about any stakes...one where we can just give it our all, and put on a show for everyone!" Their last match had been set up by Minami, and it was being fought for the sake of qualifying for Apex. This match had been a spur-of-the-moment decision. But if Sanae and Alizeh could bring forward this level of energy, intensity, and commitment to a match where they had time to prepare, and a match where they didn't have anything to prove but their own talents to one another, one where they could put their full and undiluted attention into being the best wrestlers they could be...Sanae was sure it could surpass both those matches!

Pulled up to her feet by Sanae and with a ready smile on her face Alizeh was then pulled into a tight hug with Sanae with almost enough force to be taken off her feet by the girl. Smiling and resting her cheek on the girl's shoulder Alizeh would enjoy the moment before the two pulled away with Sanae congratulating her for the fight before joking that either of them deserved to win the open weight title.

"Heh, yeah that's fair, we both deserve it at this rate, especially after a impromptu thing like that." Alizeh said with a chuckle, walking back with Sanae, arm still around her waist as she listened to what the girl said, suggesting another match between them which certainly piqued Alizeh's interest. "Hehe, a proper, official rubber match between the two of us? I can get behind that." Alizeh said with a smile before smirking a bit.

"That being said... I dunno about no stakes period... I rather like the idea of there being something further on the line, just so long as its something that we agree to you know?" Alizeh said before pulling Sanae along to a more secluded spot of the beach, a bit away from where the majority of people were underneath a tree before sitting down, pulling Sanae down with her to sit so that they could discuss the details of their potential third match.

As she followed Alizeh back across the beach, Sanae took the time to stretch, and she let out a long, contented sigh to breathe the tension out of her. A moment later, she winced and rubbed at her side where a few aches and pains lingered. It was there that she was reminded of how hard she had fought, and how much Alizeh had encouraged her to bring forth the fullest of her potential. But then, Alizeh did that every time - and that was what Sanae liked about her. To Sanae, any lingering soreness was the soreness of a job well done. She could only smile wider to that.

As Alizeh guided her to a tree, Sanae flopped down in the shade, leaning up against the trunk with her hands behind her head. "Ahhh..." she sighed, listening to the gentle in-and-out of the tide and feeling the cool breeze against her skin. After such a hard-fought match, a moment of peace like this felt like paradise on earth. Just a moment ago, she had worked herself up into a fervor, with countless cheering fans gathered around her and encouraging her to push herself to the fullest. But now, all of that seemed far beyond her. It was just the two of them. A moment of peace and quiet.

"Heh, after that, I think I'm gonna need another drink..." she said with a chuckle, only to stop and blush when she remembered what got them into this in the first place. She cleared her throat - she didn't want to linger on that for too long. "Uhh, maybe just water this time, though." Luckily, Alizeh had offered her a good enough distraction when she brought up their next match - and what would be at stake.

"Oh?" At this, Sanae perked up, turning toward Alizeh with wide eyes. She had anticipated nothing more than a friendly competition between the two of them; an opportunity for both of them to showcase their skills to one another without any pressure to worry about...but she did have to admit, the thought of there being something else at play was an intriguing one. Their last match, after all, had been an Apex qualifier, and it was the promise of being entered into the running for World Openweight Champion that truly lit a fire underneath the two girls and encouraged them to rise to levels they never could have otherwise. If this was to be the match that would settle the score once and for all, it would have to top even that - it would have to be something even greater. They needed something that could encourage Sanae to exceed the bar she'd already set for herself - and that was a lofty bar indeed.

"You know, it's not a bad idea, but...hmm." She tapped at her chin in thought, staring out into the distance. "What could we have on the line, anyway? Maybe we could talk about using it to set up a number-one contender position? Except, hrm. We're different weight classes, so we'd have to be in the running for the Openweight Championship, and we don't know what's going to happen with that one. I guess we could do the LAWLESS Championship, or..." She stopped and blushed harder at the thought of the Hentai Championship - that would do little to ease Sanae's concerns. "...Hm, yeah. Any ideas?"

Alizeh chuckled at Sanae's words as the two each took a seat, Alizeh leaning on the tree right next to Sanae while pulling a leg up so that she could properly rest and tend to the limb. "Definitely water for you, I don't need to be suplexed into the water any more tonight." Alizeh said with a chuckle before humming softly as Sanae suggested some ideas for a stipulation at her request and they weren't all bad, but... Alizeh had something in mind as is. So when she was sure Sanae was done Alizeh would take a breath as she turned towards Sanae and used her fingers gently grab Sanae's chin and tilt her head to look up at her so they were looking each other directly. "Well... what I was thinking was a bit more... personal. I was thinking.. we put ourselves on the line, with prisoner of war conditions. Winner takes the other for.. I'm thinking the night? Maybe the weekend... But what would you say to that?" Alizeh asked, keeping her hand where it was to insure that Sanae couldn't fully look away, knowing she may find the idea embarrassing or even scandalous, but it wasn't too far out there in Alizeh's mind, but she needed Sanae's initial reaction before continuing.

"...Personal?" Sanae had sank back against the tree, reclining calmly with her hands propped up behind her head. But at the mention of that word in particular...Alizeh had gotten her attention. To say nothing of how assertive she had grown in doing so, grabbing her chin and turning her head to look her right in the eye. At once, the idol's body tensed up, her heart beating faster in her chest, and a blush began to tinge the contours of her cheeks. She didn't mean what Sanae thought she meant, did she? Given how they had gotten into this predicament in the first place, it seemed an odd time to offer...something like this. And yet, as much as Sanae felt guilty about admitting it, Alizeh did have a body that was only piquing her interest all the more. And if she was this...forward about it all...

And then, Alizeh popped the question. Sanae's jaw dropped in a silent gasp. Given the reputation that POW matches had, the thought of taking on Alizeh in such a bout had implications that Sanae couldn't overlook - implications that only made her blush deepen further. But...she could see where Alizeh was coming from, too. Sanae, after all, had been looking for something to motivate the two of them. Something that could only push themselves to new heights, and force them to bring the utmost potential out of both of them. If they couldn't fight over the Openweight Championship any more, they needed something else to spur them on. And what could light a fire under them quite like having to compete for their own freedom? For their own dignity?

The more Sanae thought about it, the more it made sense - and the more her own confidence grew stronger and stronger. In fact, even now, Alizeh was trying to bring the fight out of Sanae. The assertiveness with which Alizeh had cupped her by the chin was her way of setting the stakes. Daring Sanae to escalate things further to keep up. And when it was Alizeh Midori, the woman who had pushed her to her limits and encouraged her to bring out the best she had in her...Sanae knew she couldn't let her down.

A grin flashing across her face, Sanae looked into Alizeh's eyes. She stood a little taller, her stance firming up with rising confidence - and then, she placed her hands on Alizeh's shoulders, steadying her grip. She spun her around in place, attempting to push Alizeh's back up against the tree, as she leaned in closer to pin the middleweight's chest against her own! Now, it was Sanae's turn to be this assertive - she needed to show Alizeh she had it in her!

"If you want a POW match, Alizeh...then you're on! You should know by now that when you put me up to a challenge like that, I don't back down! So you'd better prepare yourself for the POW match of your life - because I'm gonna give it to you! You have my word!"

Let it be said Alizeh was and always will be a bold woman. Never was she willing to hold back or play it safe unless she felt it was absolutely necessary and thankfully now that Alizeh and Sanae were alone it allowed her to be as direct and blunt as she wanted. Gripping Sanae's chin and pulling her in lightly as she made her suggestion for a match type between them and luckily it seemed to have the desired effect of challenging Sanae to match her intensity and desire, the idea of it being a pow match between them seeming to be just the thing to entice the girl.

Although.. maybe it worked a little too well. Feeling hands on her shoulders Alizeh was barely able to utter a peep before she was pushed back against the tree, Sanae's body landing in her lap, pinning her down and pressing their chest together as Sanae now loomed over her, causing a blush to spread across Alizeh's face. Made deeper with Sanae's acceptance of her challenge. Needing a second to calibrate herself Alizeh would smile softly at the girl as she nodded.

"Good, I know how you are, and I know you'll push me to my limits again, and its exactly what I want... and getting to take you home as my prisoner... well that'll just be the cherry on top." Alizeh said with a wink to the girl while reaching up to place her hands on Sanae's back, pulling her closer so their faces were just inches apart. "I can't wait to see if you can handle it." Alizeh said with a soft, husky breath towards the girl.

When Alizeh pulled Sanae in closer, she could feel a shiver run down her spine. As the two of them looked into each others' eyes, with Alizeh's breaths tickling the edges of Sanae's face, the tension between the two had never seemed stronger, and Sanae's heart quickened in her chest at the thought of it. She could feel the warmth of Alizeh's bare skin against her own, their thinly-clad bodies brushing against one another as Alizeh pulled Sanae closer into her lap. The green-haired idol could feel her cheeks flare up hot as the blood came rushing to her face, and the hairs on the back of her neck stood on end as her breaths grew slower and more measured. She felt guilty to even acknowledge it, but...Alizeh was a beautiful woman. And even though she should've known better, she couldn't help but feel something stir inside of her from being this close...

But then, Sanae remembered what had gotten her into this entire predicament in the first place - which caused her blush to grow a few shades darker as she glanced away. But she cleared her throat. "I...do have a girlfriend, you know..." she whispered. All the same, that didn't mean that she was turning this match down. No, she knew she wanted to go up against Alizeh again. She wanted to keep putting her skills to the test, measuring them against hers; using her as the metric by which she reached for greatness and kept growing stronger. Alizeh had brought wonderful things out of her before. And this, she knew, would be no exception - if they went into it with this much drive, and this much passion, it could well be something even better. That tense feeling in her stomach told her that. She could put this tension to something that could well go far beyond all they had achieved to date.

Looking shiftily back and forth, Sanae's gaze finally returned to Alizeh as she whispered again, a little lower. "...I can ask her if it's okay, though."

Pinned down, challenged and quite literally with her back against the wall, these were all the things that got Alizeh the most excited, especially when the person doing so was someone like Sanae Saitou. Someone with whom there was a lot of un acted sexual tension with. Virtually from the moment they meant there was something there, and while they hadn't acted on it, and while they were both in relationships... Alizeh wouldn't lie when she said she was interested in exploring that tension.

On her end she knew it was fine, she and Kate had a standing agreement not to care about sexual based things with others given the way LAW worked which was why she was being so bold here... Sanae of course wasn't quite in the same boat with how she looked away and reminded Alizeh about her girl friend.. Before she'd look back at Alizeh and said she'd ask, making Alizeh smirk as she leaned up. "Sounds like a plan." She said, looking Sanae in the eyes, already anticipating the upcoming match between them.
