The Lion and the Flyer: Arturo Hernandez vs. Matsuo Yozo

Arturo kicked up to his feet after nailing Matsuo with the German Suplex. His instincts told him Matsuo would kick out, so he decided to wear the Japanese grappler down some more. He grabbed Matsuo and pulled him to his feet. Arturo then wrapped his arms around Matsuo’s torso, pulled him in chest to chest, and attempted to hoist him up in a bearhug.

"Grrraaggghh! N...N...No...aaahhh!" Matsuo was caught in a bearhug as Arturo squeezes him. His back was being crushed as all Matsuo can do is endure the tight submission hold. This went on for 15 seconds as Matsuo was starting to fade slowly...his groans increasingly become weaker and weaker amd it seemed he could pass out any moment now.

With every breath Matsuo took, Arturo tightened his grip on his bearhug. He shook Matsuo side to side to disorient him and throw off any escape attempts. While the bearhug wasn’t usually used in Arturo’s arsenal, he kept squeezing harder and harder to punish Matsuo’s already weakened lower back.

Matsuo’s resistance slowly grew weaker until his arms dropped and he slumped against Arturo’s chest. The crowd was dismayed at their hometown hero being crushed and ragdolled by the dastardly foreigner. ”¡Preguntale!” he grunted to the ref. Seeing Matsuo had gone fully limp, the ref raised Matsuo’s arm in the air and let go.

The referee would check Matsuo twice as he lifted his arm and twice his arm would fall. When the referee would try to raise Matsuo's arm for the third time, Matsuo would wake up and raise his right arm up! The crowd was hyped when Matsuo was still alive as he would fight back by slamming his fist at Arturo's face repeatedly till he let's go of him in the bearhug!

Arturo held onto his bearhug as he felt Matsuo go limp in his arms. He smiled that cocky smile to the boos of the crowd. The ref lifted Matsuo's arm and let go. It dropped.
ONE!
TWO!
The ref let go of Matsuo's arm a third time, but there was no three. Matsuo dug in deep and held his arm up. He began wailing on Arturo, hitting him several times in the face. Arturo let go of Matsuo and staggered backwards.

The crowd was on there feet in excitement when Matsuo escaped the bearhig and began to wail Arturo to the corner. Once Arturo had his back against the turnbuckles, Matsuo would blast a kick to the body to have his opponent dazed. Matsuo would run all the way to the opposite corner before doing a couple of Handspring before attempting (for the third time) the Back Elbow to Arturo's face!

Arturo took a flurry of blows from Matsuo, pushing him back to the ropes. He then felt a sharp pain in his stomach from Matsuo's kick. By the time he looked up, Matsuo was in the air after handspringing. Matsuo's elbow then slammed into Arturo's face. He recoiled back from the blow and then ragdoll slumped forward against Matsuo's back, barely standing.

The third times a charm as Matsuo celebrates after landing the Handspring Back Elbow. With his opponent now slumped it was time for Matsuo to do something big to make this match even again. Matsuo would grab Arturo by the legs and lift him up at the turnbuckles where Arturo would be seated. Matsuo would climb the middle rope, wrap his arm around Arturo's neck, and attempt to go for his signature Avalanche Bulldog!

Arturo was dazed. He found himself sitting on the top turnbuckle. Then Matsuo was up there with him. Arturo came to and realized what was happening. Matsuo positioned himself for the bulldog and headlocked Arturo. Arturo’s head was smushed against Matsuo’s side, but fortunately for him, he was against Matsuo’s back.

Knowing that he would come down from the top turnbuckle and it would hurt one way or another, he decided to try doing so on his terms. Arturo surged forward when Matsuo started to do the bulldog. They leapt off the turnbuckle together. Arturo would attempt to slip his head free from Matsuo’s grasp, press up against his back, and counter by locking in a chokehold in mid air.

Such a smooth manuever that even Matsuo wasent ready for. As soon as he leapt in the air with Arturo, Arturo would slip behind his headlock and lock in a rear naked choke. The two would crash to the canvas together with Arturo on the bottom. Mastuo tries to struggle out of the Choke but the rear naked choke was well locked in and it was only a matter of time before Matsuo was going to sleep.

Matsuo dosent have the energy to keep going and after a couple of more seconds trapped in the rear naked choke, Matsuo would begin tapping out as the ref had to call in the match while also telling Arturo to release the hold.
