Doctor Fabulous vs. Ishtar Vasiliev

Doctor Fabulous had locked in the Figure Four Leglock tight and had kept a hold of Ishtar's leg, keeping it expertly applied. Eventually, the blonde would feel Ishtar trying to turn them over, and Doc Fab bit her lip, resisting. She knew that Vasiliev had the strength to fully turn them over, but she knew she had quite a bit of knowledge on this hold, and others in particular.

Waiting and resisting, suddenly Fabulous released all resistance from Ishtar attempting to turn it away. However, not only did she release the pressure, she would actually roll with the momentum, so that as Ishtar was rolling, she would keep them both rolling until they were both right on their backs again. However, this time, Doc Fab would push up from the mat, putting more leverage on the hold to keep it cinched in tight and apply even more pressure to the hold!

As mentioned before, the figure four leglock is a very well known hold that any wrestler worth a bottom card headliner should know. Ishtar knew it, Fabulous knew it, and they both knew that the other knew it. So in this situation, it turns into a mind game. Because while the reversal for a figure four leglock is well known, you can reverse the reversal, and it can fall into a loop until one of the wrestlers really lock it in good.

It all came down to how hard you turn, and in what direction. You can go left, right, or nowhere at all, and if you can bait your opponent into turning how you want, they'll all but reverse themselves for you. Fabulous tried to do this to Ishtar, cutting off her resistance and using the Russian's strength against herself to flip twice so they were right back where they started.

But Ishtar was ready for it. She was waiting on the moment that she felt Fabulous stop pulling against her. Ishtar was up off of her back and onto her hip when it happened. She immediately stopped turning at let the Doctor finish turning the rest of the way on her own. And when Fabulous kept going to try to get off of her stomach, Ishtar lightly pulled in the opposite direction to stay anchored. Reversal achieved. "You know, a hidden advantage to being so strong is that people assume I'm a brute with no brains," said Ishtar. "But I know the tricks. So it'll take more than that to fool me Fab."
