Dana Ashford vs. Touka Akan - Old Acquaintances

Dana was about to hoist Touka up for the powerbomb when Touka somehow managed to slip away, crawling under her legs and moving away. Dana blinked in confusion for a second before she looked behind her. A little amused by this image, Dana would make her way to chase after Touka, looking to grab her from behind as she crawled away from her.

"Now, now... where do you think you're going, Touka dear?"

Wrapping her arms around Touka's waist from behind, Dana would then try to pull her up before hoisting her over her head with a German suplex, making sure that Touka would land on the back of her shoulders and head. And upon impact, she would immediately bridge herself, going for a bridging pin in her effort to get a pinfall victory over her.

Touka was avoiding any more disasters for her back, which Dana had focused on in her attacks while pulling her back up to her feet by grabbing her waist and getting ready to launch her back up to her feet. Touka knew that too many of those in repeat make her body too sore to fight back any longer and acting quickly she would bring a leg back and hook it on to Dana's to stop her from being able to lift her over her for the German suplex. Once she had that she would just start elbowing Dana's head to force her to let go.

Refusing to stay down she would fight to try to free herself and if those arms got off her Touka turn and grab Dana's arm to use it against her and for a ripcord knee. If that worked and she kept the arm she would use it again by dropping down to hurt Dana with an eat defeat.

Dana tried to hoist Touka up and throw her down with a German suplex, but Touka managed to stop herself from being lifted up. Clicking her tongue, Dana tried to adjust her hold on her, but Touka went to hit her head with her elbow, forcing the mature woman to let go of her. "GHHH!!"

While Dana was disoriented from the elbow strike, Touka went ahead to hit her with a ripcord knee, leaving her staggered. Still, she saw what Touka was trying to do, and before Touka could take advantage of her current state, Dana would pull her arm away before staggering away, putting some distance between herself and her opponent.

Touka went all out on the attack doing whatever she could to bring Dana down, knowing that her friend had only gotten better with age and would need everything Touka could try to pull it off. Touka kept on connecting before Dana pulled away from Touka's last move, one she was sure would bring Dana down and the fellow mother was retreating. She couldn't let her get away, Touka would follow after her and try to stop her with a kick to her belly.

Assuming the kick connected, Touka could try something else that wouldn't need Dana's arm. She would grab her head and jump to bring her knees to Dana's head before she fell back down, going for a double knee facebuster as a replacement move.

Even as Dana tried to distance herself from Touka, she then took a kick to her belly, causing her to double over. This allowed Touka to carry out her next move, which was a double knee facebuster, hitting Dana's face with both her knees. The impact seemed to have inflicted quite a significant damage on the veteran.

"AUGHHH!!"

Dana recoiled back from the impact before she fell down onto her back. Laid out, spread-eagle on the mat, Dana stared at the lights above, eyes half-lidded. Things seemed to have gone pretty dire for Dana t the moment, and Touka would be free to do whatever she wished on her now that she was down.

Touka knocked Dana down with something that would keep her down for a second. After the struggles she had simply doing anything that looked impactful, it was something Touka could smile about while she went back towards her spread-eagled target and would sit her up. Keeping a grip on her hands before getting behind her and pulling her backwards into a dragon sleeper.

Touka had a bit of knowledge with holds like this from her training, and this was something that would keep Dana from getting back up. She would lean back so they were on the mat spreading Dana out while choking her out, all to keep her from powering out.

Still laid out on the mat, Dana was unable to stop Touka from grabbing her her, getting her to a seated position before putting her into a dragon sleeper. Her head was yanked backwards, causing quite a considerable pain.

"NNGGHHHH!!!"

Dana closed her eyes tightly and gritted her teeth, trying to endure the pain. For the time being, she struggled to get her mind back in order, though the pain prevented her from doing so.

Touka had to start doing more if she wanted to put Dana down, these submission covered the difference in power and kept Dana from using her own power to give her what she knew her friend was capable of returning. She pulled on that neck and stretched it out to force Dana to bend backwards and force her to stay down. If the chokehold wouldn't slow Dana down she could only add to it, bringing her hand up and throwing a punch down on Dana's stomach.

Touka didn't need to say anything she just had to lean back and trap Dana in the dragon sleeper for as long as she could, the ref was asking Dana if she had enough while Touka kept it secured. This would be the moment she needed to start to carve out an offense and she wasn't going to let Dana escape without seeing a marked improvement.

Trapped in the dragon sleeper, Dana was having a bad time there as her head was yanked back. And then, Touka also made it worse by using her other hand to throw a punch at her stomach. "UHHHGGH!!" Dana was left breathless as a result, and things didn't look too good for the older woman at the moment.

Still, as the referee asked Dana if she wanted to submit, she yelled, "NO!!" Refusing to submit, she would try to figure out a way out of this predicament as she would bring her hands to Touka's arm, looking to pry it off her neck. At the same time, she would start thrashing in the hold, hoping to make it hard for her opponent to maintain it.

Touka knew she was still trying to find her field of expertise, but at least she had some experience with submission holds. Training with her mother when she was young she learned the importance of them before anything else and seeing how she could hold down someone as strong and experienced as Dana only reminded her of that. Her fist found solid muscle trying to punch and wind Dana to make the submission easier, she was still met with a curt refusal from Dana but Touka was adamant that she keep trying even when Dana started to pull off her escape.

Touka knew she needed to act, between Dana's heavy shaking and prying at her arm she would eventually break free no matter how hard Touka tightened her grip. Acting quickly Touka decided that the best thing she could do was change the offense and try to pull Dana up so she could wrap her legs around her body, before letting the sleeper go. With her legs around her she knew Dana couldn't just shake her off and instead of maintaining the dragon sleeper Touka would send a slap to Dana's face from behind, then another to the other side of her face, wanting her to question where to position herself while she secured her leg scissors.
