Dusting Off: Angela Belti vs. Alaina Sanders-Haines

”Hey, whoa, Mom!” Dizzy called out from ringside and stuck her head in under the bottom rope. ”What are you doing?”

Angela was a little too busy trying to bend Alaina in half to look her daughter’s way, but she still managed to get out a response. ”I’m wrestling, Dizzy!” She gripped the hold tighter. ”Now is not the best time!”

”Yeah, but, why only grab one leg?” She pointed to Alaina’s free limb, flopping off to the side. ”Shouldn’t you, you know, get both.”

Angela shook her head - it was a misconception she’d heard time and time again, even from more experienced professional wrestlers. ”The single-leg is better, you get more power with-”

Her explanation was cut short, as Alaina forced her way up and powered through the hold, sending Angela flying forward for her efforts. She came down her own back, tumbled, then rose up with the aid of the ropes, all before she looked back to her opponent. Where was this woman getting all of her energy from?

Alaina stood up and saw Angela looking at her. She took a few deep breaths and had her hands up, circling about ready to grapple. Alaina knew she had to be smart but also knew being timid would lead to a defeat. Alaina grit her teeth and moved in, suddenly going low to try to take out Angela's legs from underneath her, hoping to keep hold of her shins. From there Alaina was going to go oldschool.... trying to spin in circles to disorient Angela with a big swing! Sure it was a bit unorthodox for Alaina but right now anything effective would work!

Getting tossed like that was disorienting, but only just that - in truth, Angela hadn't sustained any real damage just then. Annoying as it was, she’d be able to get up soon enough, and had every intention of resuming the offense she had been working up.

That plan fell flat, however, when Alaina grabbed her legs, pulled them over, and started to spin her around and around and around and around. It had been ages since she’d been in this move, and it was every bit as annoying as Angela remembered, as the crowd counted down each and every swing. They were having fun, but on her end the world was blurring into a dizzying display of distorted colors. There wasn’t much she could do about…anything until her opponent was done.

Alaina kept spinning, and spinning! She was starting to get dizzy herself and she let go sending Angela flying! The amazon stumbled about before managing to recover making her way to Angela whom she hoped was still dizzy. Alaina decided to go for broke. She was going to do a show of power, rally the crowd and hopefully deal damage to a still dizzy Angela....

She bent down grabbing Angela at the shoulder and upper thigh. Alaina grunted and huffed, giving it her all to lift Angela off the mat again. However this time she was trying to lift her up... all the way up! Alaina was going to try to lock out her arms overhead holding the bigger wrestle fully up before sending her down hard with a gorilla press slam, and a key component to all this was Angela still being disoriented enough to not counter her way out!

And around and around and around and-

Angela had to bring her eyes over her face and cover her eyes in a vain attempt to restore some semblance of equilibrium, as Angela continued to whip her about in a never-ending circle. She’d almost forgotten how much she disliked being in this move, but oh, were the old, nauseous feelings coming back with a vengeance.

It all came to an end when Alaina did…something. Angela was sure it was impressive and that it involved lifting her up, but she couldn't tell much more than that, with her bearings being wholly off-kilter.

She would learn one other thing about the move she was put in, though: It hurt. The slam sent her crashing into the mat, where she bounced off and came to a rest on her back, staring up at the ceiling with rapidly blinking eyes.

Angela crashed hard to the mat and Alaina waste no time in laying across her chest and hooking a leg to go for a pin. Alaina loved doing that to women her size or a bit heavier. Much heavier than Angela and that little show of power is off the table. However she managed to pull it off and by pinning Angela she also bought herself a bit of time to recover from pulling off a feat like that. It took moves like that to put down women like Angela though.

The official slid in to place and raise dater arm up before hitting the mat once as the count had begun!

“TWO!”

Angela threw her hand up after the second hit, but it was a much closer thing than most would’ve thought. That slam knocked the wind clean out of her, and unlike a lot of wrestlers, Alaina had the ring awareness to make the cover immediately after. She was only able to get out of it by digging deep, and she could tell there wasn’t much room left underneath it all.

Weakened, winded, all she could do was roll over and start to push her way up, rubbing her back as she went.

Alaina felt Angela kick out and she rolled off her, getting to her feet as Angela crawled on the mat. Alaina had an idea to end this and Angela was already in a good position for her. Alaina grabbed her by the hair sending a hard shot to the face before shoving Angela's head between her legs. Alaina grabbed Angela around the waist prepared to lift her up and the crowd roared as they knew Alaina was setting her up for an amabomb!

Alaina was not holding back against Angela, looking to demonstrate to the large powerhouse exactly what she was capable of inside the ring. Angela had proven to be a tough opponent and Alaina knew anything less than her most devastating offense would simply lead to Alaina herself being beat in the middle of the ring.

Angela was just starting to make her way up, when Alaina came over and ‘assisted’, pulling her up and aiding her rise. Of course, it wasn’t with a consequence - in this case, she wound up taking a blow to the face for her troubles, one that made her stunned state even worse.

Angela was a little groggy at the moment, but not so much that she didn’t know a finisher when she was being put into one. The audience’s cheers were rising to a crescendo as her head was shoved between Alaina’s bulging thighs. It was painfully obvious that, if she didn’t want this match to end in the next few seconds, she needed a drastic change, and there was only one move that came to mind.

Angela wrapped her arms around Alaina’s legs, stood up with the woman on her shoulders, arched her back and sent her careering through the air, launching her with a backdrop. It wasn’t the most innovative of moves, but some things were classics for a reason.

Alaina felt her feet lift off the mat before landing hard on her back! The force left her stunned but the added pain from the shock of it all meant t the arena was looking at a stunned amazon kicking in pain as Angela opened up a small window of opportunity for herself!
