As she waited for an answer from Ayane the blonde haired lightweight could practically feel the weight brought about by the death glare Miranda was directing towards her. But Piper paid it no mind. Any other day of the week, hell any other moment in time Piper would have shot back at her or insulted the brunette. But right now her attention was fixed solely on Ayane, the woman gave off a... different kind of vibe. Not bad, but like she wanted something, Piper wanted to know what, and why the woman hadn't taken her sights off Piper the whole time.

"So... you have experience in this type of match then?" The blonde asked with a raised eyebrow. After all if nothing else the woman could offer some ideas, and pull enough strings to bring them to fruition when the time came for her and Miranda's match. But Ayane's claims at her most remembered match being the types of matches Piper was looking for now.. She couldn't deny that her interest was further piqued, making an example of her opponent also appealed to the blonde as well...

"Any recommendation or examples for what we can do then?" Piper further questioned, wanting to know what exactly Ayane could offer them doing, and honestly a little interested in exactly what Ayane was talking about... Particularly the idea of people talking about matches from so long ago... that truly appealed to what Piper wanted out of this career in general. For people to still be talking about her years later after they happened. And if she could start with something like this against Miranda than Piper would be more than willing to listen to whatever Ayane suggested.

Piper had taken an interest, that much was clear but she wasn't going to outright say that. The blonde was fishing for ideas on what to do with Mira and it was clear she had some hope Ayane could tell her, but she had places to be and didn't feel like giving out all of her knowledge in a parking lot. Still she wasn't going to leave Piper high and dry either, or Miranda if she was willing to listen even if part of her doubted it.

"If either of you wish to know more, You're free to follow me to a place I can show you. I have plenty of examples but not here." Ayane said as her car door came open and she took her place in the passenger seat. "If you can't follow me I know your contacts and can meet you later. I strongly recommend you consider. Good talent shouldn't get wasted." Ayane finished waiting to see if they needed anything else and would leave soon after if they did not.

Piper had waited patiently for a response from the woman, her interest had been piqued by the way and confidence she spoke with.. so she wanted to know more. Especially if it was something that could enhance the humiliation she could doll out to Miranda for her transgressions today. However rather than a simple response Piper found herself baited.

"Hmph." She said swiftly considering her options before opening the rear door to the older woman's car. "Fine. Lets see them, but I swear this better not be some trick or something." Piper would say as she slid into the back seat closing the door behind her, but not without sending one more hate filled glare towards Miranda before slamming the door closed.

Mira had no intention of following Ayane, especially after seeing that Piper did, but as the door was closed harshly in her face she felt slighted by both of them. "Yeah go ahead and enjoy old people company, maybe being around her will humble your ass." Mira said turning off and leaving, she still had her other clothes and she wasn't going to let Piper ruin the rest of her day. The car took off soon after leaving just Ayane, Piper and the person driving the car.

"Excellent choice Piper. I had a feeling you'd see the wisdom of my words even if she didn't. Don't worry I intend to see that this exchange is worth it, I have a reputation of my own to maintain and can't very well do that if I can't help someone as talented as you." Ayane said making sure to be complimentary to assure Piper that she was at least going to make an effort to help her even if she didn't like everything she was going to say. Ayane slowly grabbed something out of a compartment to the side before pulling out a disk. "Are you against watching an intergender match? I have plenty of examples so I can go anyway you want for that, but I think I know one that might speak to you if your okay with it." Ayane said waiting for an answer and keeping the disk between her fingers.

While making herself comfortable in the backseat of her temporary host's car Piper made sure to shoot one last baleful look at her soon to be opponent, all too eager to make the girl pay for crossing her. As they pulled off down the street however Piper would look around and really take in her surroundings. 'Huh.. pretty nice actually.' She thought to herself, admittedly impressed and enjoying the swanky environment for now, unknowingly getting more impressed with Ayane in the process.

That being said she wanted to to know what the woman wanted to show her, and before she had a chance to open her mouth the elderly woman would thankfully preempt her and get things started. Raising an eyebrow at the question asked of her Piper would shrug mundanely in response. "Doesn't matter much to me. If you think it'll help than hit me." Piper said as she leaned back against the seat, puffing up her chest as she did so, feeling especially good about herself as she waited for Ayane to show her whatever she planned too, while also being quite satisfied with the compliment the purple haired woman had paid her.

Ayane waited seeing Piper going over the question in her head before answering, and was pleased when she was given permission to go along with it. "As you can probably surmise, I made a lot of enemies when I was wrestling. You act how you are and someone somewhere is going to take offense to it, and some are dumb enough to think they have what it takes to do something about." Ayane said putting the disc into the tv placed in the backseat of her car for Piper to watch. "But to make sure no one steps up to you when they shouldn't it is important to make sure that one thing you should do is make an example out of them. Like so." Ayane pressed play and the old video started going.

On the screen was Ayane in her prime and wearing a title belt, she marched down to the ring before taking the belt off and raising it to the crowd, booed all the same but ignoring it as she continued along, moving as if she was royalty and everyone should be bowing to her. "Most would look at this and think that I'm a fool, the crowd hates me and that I should behave to avoid such scorn. What they fail to notice is that these people are standing up and the crowd is packed, because they notice me and in the end that's all that really matters. You stand out and people will come in droves to see an attraction." Ayane, the current day one said watching her old self unrobe to show off her pristine ring gear and killer body to show off to the crowd while she waited for her opponent of the evening in a match that was a long time coming.

Piper sat back and relaxed, her body only now feeling sore from her unexpected bout with Miranda and making her want to wince. Although the blonde did her best to repress that urge in front of Ayane, after all the woman clearly valued strength so the blonde wasn't about to show her any weakness. Listening to her words however helped numb the pain, largely due to how much of her interest the words had caught, even if it was less than a single sentence. But it was enough to hold the green eyed girl's rapt attention as she looked at Ayane as she spoke. "Make an example out of them..." As she repeated the words in her mouth Piper as if testing them herself Piper nodded before focusing on the tv screen as Ayane loaded something up.

Sitting back and watching Piper watched the prime aged woman make her entrance and had to admit to herself one thing.. that was what she wanted to be. Or rather the woman on the screen is who Piper envisioned herself becoming... did Ayanae actually get her? No time to think about it however as Ayane spoke again making Piper nod to show she was paying attention. "I see that sounds.. really awesome actually." Piper said as a response to Ayane's philosophy on attention and being liked. After all she was basically already doing that, but she wasn't embracing it. She didn't care whether people were cheering or booing, she just wanted their attention and thats what she was getting, she just needed to embrace that.

However it wasn't long before Ayane's opponent came down wearing a green cloak himself. As he neared the ring however he threw it off and flew in between the ropes to land in the ring revealing his form. He was toned but not monstrously rip, with a six pad and tanned skin that was left bare from the waist up until his face which was covered by a mask.

A tell tale sign he was a luchador. THe mask itself seemed styled after a hawk or falcon with a thunder and storm theme to it and was colored grey with orange trip and green making the outline of the hawk. Additionally he wore grey tights with green designs and and matching boots. 'Actually kinda cute.' Piper thought to herself and watching as he approached the center of the ring staring down Ayane. "So what was you're beef?" She asked curiously out of nowhere but watching with a clear interest and attention focus on the match being displayed.

It was easy to tell afterwards that Piper was hooked, the blonde girl was either focused on her words or watching the screen with a form of admiration that she didn't have before. Ayane knew the feeling, she was almost envious of what it was like to experience her story from a second hand view but she lived and loved it so she knew someone like Piper would have loved to see it. Her opponent's entrance seemed to capture her eyes as well but in a moment that feeling would go away when Ayane's point was made through the video.

"Honestly you could make a list of the things we didn't beef about. He didn't like me at all, he hated the way I carried myself, the way I talked to people, the way I won the title. He acted like he had some moral obligation to set me straight. It made me sick." Ayane spat and in the video you could her face sour the moment he entered the ring looking like she was repulsed by his very presence before she smugly raised the belt in his face. "I had grown sick of it and this was our third time fighting for my title. The first time I won when I caught him in a roll up, not my fault the ref didn't notice his foot on the ropes. Second time went to a time limit draw but he swears he almost had me. Whatever. This was his last time fighting for it and I wanted to make sure it was the last time ever, I wanted to strip him of any semblance of dignity and I decided....well you'll see." Ayane said as the video showed the match getting ready to start with introductions for both competitors.

Piper continued to watch the video with a vested interest. Something unusual for her and really mainly brought about by the interest and praise this woman had thrown Piper's way. Although the promise of improving her still lacking skills was also something that motivated the blonde to watch. After all thus far, there was truth in virtually every way.

As she explained the history between herself and the Luchador now introduced via the video as El Halcon Tormenta however Piper found herself raising an eyebrow at how in depth it was. "Huh. I just expected you two to have been exes or something but thats cool at least. I also like the attitude you showed against him, really has that like.. boss bitch energy ya know?" As she said that Piper realized posthumously that what she said could be construed rather negatively.

"Er thats a compliment by the way." She clarified to the older woman while refocusing on the video, watching as the two began duking it out almost right off the bat with chops, something Ayane started with an initial chop. "Hey I thought Lucha guys were supposed to be like high flyers or something? How come he's getting in a strike contest with you? Isn't that like you're families specialty or something?" Piper based that tidbit almost entirely on her knowledge of Kyoko and to a lesser extent Ayame, but her confusion and curiosity was genuine as she continued to watch with interest whilst waiting for a response from the older woman.

While the match began in earnest Piper's questions didn't stop, the chops that started the match being the backdrop for how this whole matter escalated, watching her old self slam a hand across her rivals chest only to grunt and shriek when it was done to her brought plenty of memories that the video would get to in time. "I didn't date the competition. Much simpler to avoid such hang ups." Ayane said, she ignored the comment about the kind of energy she presented, only giving Piper a look about it to make it clear she understood the intention.

"Some, but not all limit themselves, he certainly dabbled in many different things. As did I, but while I could hit hard with either my feet or fists my real talent came from making my opponent suffer. Fighting some other way until I can turn things around." Ayane said while the match started to change course, after she took another chop Ayane would hit back but duck the next and move behind her foe to grab around Tormenta's waist and keep him there.
