A Storm’s Open Challenge Alizeh Midori vs Mary Clarisson

Alizeh had with a final push of effort managed to get to the ropes, earning a respite from the painful counter Mary had managed to get on her. Panting softly as she clenched the rope Alizeh would look up and see Mary get to her feet slowly, surely a sign that the damage to her leg from earlier was still present. 'Good.' Alizeh thought to herself as she pushed herself up to her feet as well with the aid of the ropes, her own lower limbs hurting as well now from the hold Mary had her in.

As she looked up however she saw the smile on Mary's face... and promptly smiled right back in response to the girl. Without a word needing to be said Alizeh took a few steps forward before rearing her arm up and sending her hand forward to chop Mary across the chest! "Lets go!" Alizeh would yell as she did so before pointing at her own chest, inviting and even goading Mary into doing the same in return to her.

Mary was still hurting, her leg still feeling like it's on fire as she stood up, smile on her face. By all accounts, Mary has never felt like this before. It's like this fire had been lit inside of the quiet beast. Even if she is stumbling a little, it's hard to keep balance on one leg, she will keep going until her body can't take it anymore.

And then Mary received a chop to the chest, the open section of her leotard showing it had turned a bright red. Mary stepped back a few, wincing as she felt the pain surge through her chest. But she knew what Alizeh wanted, she's watched enough Japanese Wrestling to know the perfect response.

So Mary stepped towards Alizeh, and winded up a chop of her own to Alizeh's chest. Maybe her chop wasn't the strongest, but Alizeh had invigorated her to participate in this chop battle.

It wasn't enough to just have a rematch against Mary for Alizeh. No she didn't even just want to win. Instead Alizeh wanted to win while also outdoing their previous match. Have it be longer and more full of reversals and technique and toughness. But to do that Alizeh had to do what few, if anything none had done before her and provoke the quiet beast into roaring. But she'd done it and boy was Mary roaring.

Seeing the fire burning in Mary's eyes Alizeh would feel her own flames of competition burn just a bit brighter as shown with her harsh chop to her opponent's chest! But the move was more of an invitation than anything else, one Mary had accepted when the blue haired girl sent a chop of her own to Alizeh's chest!

"Ngh!" Grunting softly at the impact Alizeh's own chest turned a shade on the red side, though it was harder to tell due to the darker tan she had compared to the fairer skin of her opponent. But nonetheless Alizeh didn't stop. Quite the contrary without skipping a beat Alizeh would rear her arm back before swinging it forward, sending another chop of her own right back at Mary's chest!

Mary was used to striking contests, she was usually out of her league when it ca,came, to something like this. So when Alizeh chopped her, Mary knew that she probably couldn't keep going and had to change strategies.

So Mary attempted to catch the arm Alizeh was trying to chop with, and if she did, she will attempt to wrap her legs around Alizeh's arm and bring her down, locking on a Cross Armbreaker. Hopefully this will work.

Alizeh enjoyed being able to have contests like this. Not just the chop battle with Mary, but the match in of itself. Being able to challenge herself and push her opponent at the same time. The chop battle was just a physical representation of that challenge between them.

But that being said she was hoping to keep it going longer. Something Mary evidently wasn't keen on herself, leading to the blue haired girl to grab her arm and attempt to pull her down into a cross armbreaker!

Key word being attempted. Feeling her arm pulled down Alizeh instinctively brought her free hand down, grabbing at her caught one in an effort to keep the hold from being locked in completely. "Heh.. Nice.. Try." Speaking through soft groans of pain Alizeh planted her feet tightly into the mat, trying to keep herself from falling. Likewise if she was able too she would attempt to pull herself up, trying to lift Mary up before dropping herself down, trying to slam Mary's back into the mat!

Mary knew exactly one thing, she wasn't going to win a chop battle with anybody, especially one with as ferocious Chops as Alizeh. Alizeh was clearly better at having more varied offense then the submissions they have been trading, and with her legs still feeling like jelly, it was better if Mary got off her feet and forced Alizeh down with her. So Mary would grab Alizeh's chopping arm and attempt to bring her down with a Cross Amrmbreaker, hoping that damaging the arm would prevent anymore Chops or other strikes being thrown. Sadly, Alizeh did something that Mary didn't think of.

Mary was shocked that Alizeh used her free arm to stop her caught one from being put into an Armbreaker. "WHAT?" The Bluenette said in shock as she tried to keep the arm down to no avail. And then things got worse.

It wasn't Mary pulling Alizeh down, it was Alizeh pulling Mary up, and then slamming her down with a Slam, causing Mary to let go of the arm she grabbed. "GAH!" The Bluenette yelped as pain surged through her back, leaving her stunned and holding her back in pain.

Alizeh grunted and groaned in the strain her arm was in as a result of Mary's attempted cross arm breaker. Thank goodness she managed to grab hold of her hand to lessen the impact of the hold. But that just made the effectiveness of Mary's submission in spite of such a obstacle all the more impressive. After all if this hurt as much as it was now than who know how bad it'd be had Alizeh not managed to grab hold of her hand. But unfortunately the road to freedom was paved with pain and grit.

Something Alizeh was showing as she slowly but surely lifted Mary up, relying almost entirely on her grip with her arm to do so. Albeit it did put even more strain on her arm but Alizeh told herself it would be worth it. Hoping to make this the case Alizeh would, when she made it to a vertical base, suddenly throw herself down, slamming Mary back first into the mat!

Thankfully this had the desired effect of forcing Mary to release her hold, freeing Alizeh and leaving the bluenette stunned on the mat. Unfortunately however Alizeh was in no place to capitalize.

"Gah." Hissing sharply in pain as her arm was freed Alizeh would stumble backwards into the ropes, clutching at her shoulder with a cringe of pain. That counter of hers had put a lot of strain on herself and it showed as for now both women were indisposed with pain courtesy of their opponent.

Mary was completely laid out, both her and Alizeh in immense pain, the obvious tolls of a submission match taking a toll on her. It felt like it's been a long war between the two, trading holds and submissions, her body felt like it was on fire. The pain was near unbearable, but Mary could feel she was close to winning the match. She had to keep pulling through, she had to make it and make Alizeh tap out. Mary really wanted to win.

So Mary had to rest, hopefully the pain will eventually calm down, it wasn't a good idea to move at this very moment. So she laid there.

Alizeh narrowed her eyes softly at seeing the time it was taking Mary to stand up. 'She's either hurt or biding for time, my money is on the latter.' Thinking to herself with a serious expression it was clear Alizeh wasn't looking for a easy victory, nor was she taking Mary lightly. She knew that at this point it would take far too long for Mary to get back up of her own accord, Alizeh needed to redefine the pace of the match on her terms, but she needed to do so fast.

So with this in mind Alizeh would dart towards the blue haired girl. Her body still hurt all over but it was more than capable of a good sprint, especially with the objective of potentially winning spurring her forward. Once upon the prone form of Mary then Alizeh would leap into the air, flipping forward as she did so in order to try and crash down on Mary's chest with a running senton bomb!

Mary was laying down, her body had become enamored in a bowl full of pain & agony. It hurt even moving an inch. She needed as much time to recover as she could. But sadly her body would not be able to rest fast enough.

A weight came crashing down on Mary's stomach, and that weight was Alizeh, all the breath that Mary used to rest evalculated out of her body. "Gah!" She yelped as she held her midsection, Alizeh's senton slowed down her recovery. Is this truly it for Mary in this match?
