Re: The Lightweight Classic Match 4: Morgan Frey vs Dawn Wilder
Moving away from the turnbuckle, Morgan managed to avoid being hit by the corner splash, and she could see that Dawn was hurting from the collision. Seeing this opportunity, she would move towards Dawn's back, planning to make use of this chance to turn the table while Dawn was still affected by the collision. Closing in from behind, Morgan would wrap her arms around her waist and pull her up, dragging her towards the center of the ring where she could carry out her next move.
"HYAHH!!"
Yelling out a battle cry, Morgan would try to hoist Dawn's body overhead, sending her crashing down into the mat with a release German suplex, letting go of her waist upon impact. She knew that if the move was successful, her opponent would take quite a massive damage from it.

Re: The Lightweight Classic Match 4: Morgan Frey vs Dawn Wilder
Thanks to this blunder inflicting only harm to herself, Dawn could only stand around and nurse her wounded chest, even if it won't likely heal by the next journey. She knew that Morgan was lying in proximity, but couldn't defend against being pounced on. Gasping as the purplette secured her waist. The time they spent in the corner was only so short-lived.
What followed was little resistance and the most high-pitched battlecry.
Dawn was tossed around with ease by the fellow lightweight's raw might. Without the sufficient energy to perform any special flips, the blonde could only just scream in distress until she neckfirst connected with the mat, legs slumping down. Shock coursing down her spine mostly on top of the sudden fall was enough to leave Dawn twitching and paralysed temporarily.

Re: The Lightweight Classic Match 4: Morgan Frey vs Dawn Wilder
Releasing Dawn's body upon impact, Morgan would quickly pick herself up to see her opponent. Seeing that Dawn was in pain after being brought down onto the mat by her German suplex earlier, she knew that this was one opportunity that she couldn't afford to let go. With the corner behind her, she would move backwards before climbing the turnbuckle up, planning to deliver her next move.
Once she was at the top of the turnbuckle, Morgan would take a deep breath as she looked at Dawn's body on the mat. Then, she would leap up into the air, taking flight as she would bring herself down onto Dawn's body, looking to hit her with one of her high-flying finisher, a frog splash that she named Omega Impact!

Re: The Lightweight Classic Match 4: Morgan Frey vs Dawn Wilder
Minus the tiniest convulsing, Dawn would remain on her back, completely helpless like a flipped turtle. Thus her opponent had the freedom to attack more of that exposed underbelly. The cameras were forced to pan out as Morgan was set to spread her wings. Despite the time elapsed, there was no movement visible from the blonde.
A stage light turned about, shining on Dawn's prone body. "Urhhhhh..." Stirring a little thanks to further strain on her eyes. This allowed Dawn's pupils to open and shift around, she could glimpse a predator to pounce. As soon as Morgan leapt off the ropes, survival instincts would kick in. The laying wrestler tried reeling back her legs so Morgan would land on a pair of knees instead.

Re: The Lightweight Classic Match 4: Morgan Frey vs Dawn Wilder
After making sure that Dawn was prone on the mat, Morgan climbed up the turnbuckle, preparing herself for her finisher. Standing on top of the turnbuckle, Morgan then leaped up into the air, performing a frog splash, which she named Omega Impact. She was looking to land on top of her opponent, hoping to inflict massive damage on her with the frog splash.
But when she was about to hit her opponent, Morgan saw Dawn bringing her knees up, and she couldn't change her trajectory while in midair. As a result, she ended up landing right on those knees, having them driven right onto her belly. Her eyes widened as air was forcefully driven out of her lungs, and she recoiled from those knees and landed on her back next to Dawn.
"BUAGHHH!!" Morgan gasped out in pain, cradling her aching stomach after landing on Dawn's knees. She coughed and wheezed while on her back, unable to breathe properly. It seemed that things didn't look too good for the quiet purple-head.

Re: The Lightweight Classic Match 4: Morgan Frey vs Dawn Wilder
The hunt continued as what could have spelled an end for Dawn was countered by a knee raise. Only minor strain on her legs compared to what Morgan felt, the blonde took half a minute to lay down and revitalise herself. Once she recovered enough, Dawn would sit up and pull herself back to a standing position.
She briefly pondered about her next move since the purplette was literally laying beneath her. Perhaps exploit more of that weakened underbelly? The Canadian reached down to scoop her opponent off the mat up to a temporary stand. Suddenly twirling around so she was beside the fellow lightweight, Dawn placed both of her hands to the other wrestler's near shoulder. Afterwards she hauled Morgan towards the ropes, expecting a sort of rebound.
Provided that the purple clad wrestler couldn't anticipate this next attack, upon their reunion Dawn would spread out her right arm to reach across Morgan's torso to halt the smaller woman in place. This was followed by the blonde falling back in an attempt to drive Morgan onto her face with a Reverse STO.

Re: The Lightweight Classic Match 4: Morgan Frey vs Dawn Wilder
Morgan was wheezing painfully from having landed right onto those knees when she tried to hit Dawn with her Omega Impact. She ended up on her back, clutching her aching belly, leaving herself weakened and vulnerable to the counterattack from her opponent. Sure enough, Dawn managed to recover and decided to pull her back up onto her feet before she forced her to run towards the ropes with an Irish whip.
Unable to stop her own momentum, Morgan hit the ropes and rebounded back to where Dawn was. Upon their reunion, Dawn decided to get her right arm across her torso, halting her advance. Then, she fell backwards, sending Morgan face first onto the mat with a reverse STO! "AUGHHH!!!" The impact left her disoriented, and this left her weakened and more vulnerable than ever.

Re: The Lightweight Classic Match 4: Morgan Frey vs Dawn Wilder
Having confined Morgan to a temporary daze, Dawn was able to proceed with the Reverse STO to favourable results but not maximum payoff, considering how the purplette only landed on her face when the stomach was already caving in. Damage was still damage, giving the blonde plenty of room to further capitalise on her opponent's state.
It didn't take long for Dawn's body to upright once again. With Morgan literally laying beside her, she decided to stand on only a single foot before twirling around for a little momentum boost. Seconds later, she would let her body fall with an arm outstretched, hoping to punish the fellow lightweight's back with a sudden reverse elbow drop.
Provided that this move lands, the moonchild thought it was virtous to take her foe's say into consideration. Rolling her entire frame around, she knelt in front of the purplette, gazing at her wounded face. "I don't wish to greatly injure you, so please don't make a rash decision."

Re: The Lightweight Classic Match 4: Morgan Frey vs Dawn Wilder
Morgan groaned in pain after being brought down face first into the mat with the reverse STO from Dawn earlier. "Erghhhh..." She tried her best to regain her bearing, but it would take some time, and Dawn would certainly take advantage of this as she picked herself up before bringing down an elbow drop right into her back.
"AAGHHH!!!"
Morgan screamed out in pain as she took the hit. The pain flared on the back, and it was hard for her to think clearly due to the pain. Then, she heard Dawn asking her whether she wanted to quit or not. Despite the pain, Morgan showed her defiance by shaking her head, her normally half-lidded eyes looking at her opponent with the looks of determination.

Re: The Lightweight Classic Match 4: Morgan Frey vs Dawn Wilder
Instead of her entry to the semi-finals, Dawn wasn't even given a verbal response. It appeared that the referee will have to provide that passage then. Reaching forward to Morgan's lock, she forcibly raised the fellow lightweight to a stand, even if it meant the purplette was forcibly bent over still. Out of nowhere, she threw a knee into the other woman's gut to possibly numb her.
Rather than directly perform a throw here, Dawn decided to opt for the ropes, backing up until she reached the nearby corner. Not even needing to glance back to ensure her footing was proper, she scaled the turnbuckle until reaching the very top, spreading her arms like a bird. If nothing halted her, she would leap off the ropes and hope to soar past her opponent, but grab the other woman's waist in time to forcibly roll Morgan for a sunset flip.
