Rising above- Tess vs Allen!

*Convincing herself that her inevitable victory was merely seconds away, Tess was carefully balancing Allen across her unsteady shoulders, refusing to abdicate her dominant position for any reason whatsoever! As fate would have it however, her adversary refused to take her defeat in stride, managing to throw her weight sideways and snatch Tess by her neck for a falling DDT!*

"WAAAAH!" *Realizing what was happening all too late, Tess's face smashed into the floor with a reverberating* "THWUMP!" *That left her nearly unconscious, suddenly becoming easy prey for her foe!* "Nnhhh..." *She murmured through laborious breathing, limbs sprawled out as a sign of unconditional defeat.*

Successfully spiking Tess' head into the mat with a DDT, Allen gasped out as she would push herself up, taking a look at her opponent. Seeing the state she was in, Allen knew that she couldn't let this opportunity slip past her fingers. She needed to seize this opportunity lest she lost it. Forcefully getting herself back up, she would grab onto Tess as she would pull her up alongside her. She would make sure to stand behind her opponent in preparation for her next move.

First, she would make sure to trap Tess' head under her armpit in a dragon sleeper-like hold. Securing her grip on her body, she would then hoist her body up, holding her upside down as she would spin around, holding her body up. From there, she would attempt to bring her down into the mat as hard as she could with a Michinoku driver II-B, a move that she dubbed Over the Cloud. She believed that the sheer impact should deal a tremendous damage on her opponent.

"Mmhhh....huh!!!" *As her body continued to languish against the ring, unable to recuperate quicker than she wanted it to, Tess was suddenly forced to her unsteady feet, ensnaring her in an incredibly uncomfortable position.* "G..gnnfff ooofff!" *Trying to throw a haphazard punch into her ribcage, Tess was suddenly lifted into the sky before being plummeted back down to earth for a spine-shattering explosion!*

"NNNAAAHH!" *The once effervescent bombshell had been reduced to a quivering pile of agony, inadvertently sprawling her limbs out while gingerly suspiring to try and retain her consciousness- If anything, she wanted to try and preserve what little dignity she could by remaining awake through the pain!*

Heaving up the body of her opponent before bringing her down with one of her finishers, Over the Cloud, Allen would not waste her time as she would quickly reach out to one of Tess' legs, yanking at it as she would make sure that her opponent's shoulders were pressed against the mat. Breathing out heavily, she would listen to the referee counting for the pin as the official slid next to them, slapping the mat with each count.

"ONE"

Allen wasn't sure if the move was enough to knock the fight out of Tess, but she was confident that the move should take a massive chunk of her opponent's strength out of her. Hopefully, this would be the last pinfall attempt before the bell was rung.

"TWO!"

*As the numbers seemed to be floating around her head as they were called out, Tess tried valiantly to summon enough vigor to muscle herself out of this dire situation, but to no avail!*

"Three!" *The moderator shouted, signaling for the dreaded noise that would immediately accompany it.* "Ding ding ding!" *Tess couldn't believe how quickly the winds of fortune caught her in their ever shifting roil, leading to yet another harsh defeat.*

Allen focused on the count as she maintained her hold on Tess, pinning her down. When the referee reached the count of three, she felt like a huge weight had been taken off of her shoulders, and she heaved out a sigh of relief. She let go of Tess and stood up on her feet, letting the referee raise her arm, being declared the victor of this match.

The Brit would take her time celebrating her victory, flashing a smile as she strutted about in the ring, enjoying the spotlight that was given to her as the crowd cheered for her. Then, she would look at her opponent before she decided to display a little bit of sportsmanship as she would then hold out her hand to her.

"Here, take my hand..." Allen said to Tess. "Thanks for the match." She smiled at her opponent as she would offer to help her to stand up.

*Allowing the loss to fully sink in, Tess felt the blinding lights above her blur her vision before a familiar voice offered her a hand up. Flickering her eyes open, Tess surprisingly batted away Allen's hand before rolling underneath the bottom rope, much to the chagrin and shock of the audience!* "I don't need your help." *She said in a rather curt manner, staggering up the ramp and towards the locker room.*

*While she may have suffered yet another humiliating defeat, Tess learned enough about herself to realize she was better than the role of eternal jobber, and tonight was her breaking point- Allen may have won the battle, but this loss would inevitably be the gateway to many victories for The Blonde Bombardier.*
