Heavyweight Workout

Alaina groaned and looked up as Astrid was already in the air! she could only shake her head in terror before letting out a wheezing grunt as Astrid came crashing down on Alaina! Her torso felt absolutely crushed and she again kicked the mat a couple times, a look of pain etched on her face as Astrid was really rolling now, her momentum continuing as Alaina herself was reeling now! The amazon was letting the spar get out of her control but right now she had no way to work herself back in as Astrid kept rolling!

With her considerable weight coming crashing down on top of Alaina, Astrid wasn't surprised that the veteran was left gasping for breath. She chuckled to herself at the sight, the thought of leaving such an icon breathless coming as a point of pride to her. She might even make a joke about it, if she was the type to do something like that. But such wordplay was lost on Astrid. At this point in time, she just wanted to prove she had what it took!

And now that Alaina was underneath her, the blonde supposed she would have an easier time of that. Seeing that Alaina was as stunned as she was, Astrid moved to push down on her shoulders, going to start counting a pin. "One..."

Alaina was flailing and flopping her limbs about as she was stuck underneath Astrid, the one count coming easily. Alaina shook her head and let out a howl as she arched her back, bridging her way out of the pin right at the two count! Astrid had gotten a decent pin count on her already and Alaina was looking worn out. Astrid seemed to be weathering the storm better right now and deep down that hurt Alaina. She was used to being the one who could take more punishment than anyone and hit back hard enough to crush women in quick order. Had things changed that much with her age? Was she really starting to show inevitable signs of slowing down that no amount of training was going to be able to stop? Questions flooded her mind as her confidence was a little shaken even if she had just managed to kick out!

On some level, Astrid was holding back. Her admiration for Alaina was telling her she couldn't get too carried away, out of fear of injuring her or somehow losing her favor if she felt she was being treated unfairly. Perhaps she left the pin in place for a little bit too long before she counted "Two..." But it was no matter, as Alaina managed to push herself back up, breaking the pin!

Astrid dutifully rolled off of her, ending up on her knees as she looked over at Alaina with a smile. "Heh...almost got you there, yeah? Nice save." She waited for Alaina to likewise right herself before she would raise her hands, offering a test of strength from their position.

Alaina saw the offer for a test of strength. Alaina was determined not to lose this one! She approached rapidly, gritting her teeth as she said nothing, save for a guttural shout as she locked up and engaged with Astrid hoping to overco.e the young woman in this contest! Alaina was giving it her all, determined to drive Astrid back against the ropes!

Alaina was eager to take up on Astrid's challenge - and the Norsewoman grinned wide at the sight, always eager to put her strength to the test! She liked nothing better than a worthy and capable foe, and if Alaina was already this willing to go at it again, Astrid couldn't help but be impressed with her stamina.

"Haah-!" Matching Alaina's battlecry with one of her own, Astrid linked hands with the veteran and jumped back to her feet, feeling reinvigorated by the challenge! She shoved her weight back against Alaina in turn, her foot starting to skid back behind her from the force the Amazon was meeting her with, but she was undeterred, pushing herself in closer in the hopes of counteracting the pressure!

"I won't lose this one! Not a second time!" Alaina said through her grit teeth, groaning as she exerted all the pressure she could! Alaina tried to widen her feet out as she pushed, moving lower while making her base more solid. She now wanted to be a wall Astrid was stuck pushing back against while trying her best to continue her advance. It was taking a lot out of the older amazon but her pride demanded that she put everything she had in to this even if her tactical mind was telling her it was a potential waste of energy against Astrid! Still, Alaina pressed on her body trembling as she was doing her best to come out on top in this challenge!

Astrid tried her hardest to throw herself against the unstoppable force Alaina had made herself, her feet pushing at the mat as she tried to walk in place to build momentum. Yet Alaina was keen to hold herself firmly where she was, putting all her effort into resisting Astrid's attempts to weigh her back! The Norsewoman began to pant now, the sweat on her brow pouring down her face the more and more she tried to push her opponent forward. Her heart was pounding in her chest, and she groaned from behind clenched teeth.

"I...have to..." Astrid murmured, but she still couldn't surpass what Alaina had summoned, and as she grew more exhausted in her efforts, she began to slowly shrink a few steps back.

Alaina smiled as she was making progress, proving to herself as much as anyone else that she still had it against Astrid! Alaina forced her young opponent back before stopping, but keeping hold of the woman. "Time to go old school again!" Alaina said as she adjusted her grip, trying to grab Astrid between the legs and around the shoulder. She wanted to scoop Astrid up and slam her down as hard as she could, following it up with a jumping leg drop! Alaina knew she was shorter but weighed almost the same as Astrid, her thick legs surely would have impact if the scoop slam and leg drop did connect without Astrid intervening!

Astrid had been fighting as hard as she could to try and get Alaina to move from her position, but to no avail. She had spent all of her energy, and now it was starting to show, as her breaths came harder and her shoulders slumped. This certainly wasn't something lost on Alaina, either, as she now saw the perfect opportunity to change tactics! Coming in closer, Alaina scooped Astrid up between the legs, causing the Norsewoman to let out a gasp as her feet left the floor. Weary as she was from all the effort she had put into the test of strength, she wasn't showing much resistance to being lifted, and Alaina wouldn't have much trouble picking her up.

And not long after that, Astrid was thrown back down, the canvas shaking under her weight as she landed with a thud! The blonde groaned, her head still spinning from the landing - and if that wasn't bad enough, Alaina was quick to follow that up with a leg drop that sent Astrid recoiling against the mat, her head rolling backwards as a cough escaped her lungs. The fatigue was starting to catch up to her now, and with Alaina as heavy as she was, this would be tricky to get out of!
