Kyo Akamatsu vs Rachel Kincaid (D)

Kyo had hoped to transition from one submission hold to another-- to get Rachel in a surfboard hold and work her back and her arms even further. He had just managed to even the score by forcing the golden warrior to make a rope break; now he had to put the pressure on her further, not let up and not give her a chance to recover.

Rachel, however, had other ideas. Kyo's head snapped back as her elbow shot into his cheek, causing him to grunt and tumble backwards. He rolled, clutching his face, and put some distance between himself and his opponent. In a fluid motion, he kipped up to his feet again, rubbing his face and standing up to his full height, waiting for Rachel to do the same.

"Shall we continue?" he breathed, smiling a little now. Rachel, for her debut, was definitely going all out against him and definitely proving to be a worthy opponent.
