Yuki Kazikura [D] vs. Maria di Valentina

Yuki took in a long breath, holding it there. The tension was palpable in the air as she pulled Maria's leg back and waited as the ref counted, with the space in between each number called feeling like an eternity. She never took her eyes off of Maria, waiting for that promised moment to come when she would take home the glory.

The canvas rustled under Yuki, but she held firm, barely moving a muscle. It was almost there...and then, Maria kicked herself free! Yuki took in a sigh as she fell back from Maria, her efforts thwarted as the referee held up two fingers in confirmation. She had almost had it...but Maria had to still pull through in the end. The joshi rookie got back on her feet, dusting herself off as she looked back at Maria. She was going to have to fight just as hard to keep her down.

Maria giggled mirthlessly when she heard the crowd groan in disappointment. And when she saw the frustration manifest itself on Yuki’s face, well, sights like that always made the cold aristocrat warm up. Perhaps it was finally dawning on this moronic upstart that no matter how hard she tried, a peasant like her will never beat a noble like Maria. And all of the good luck the joshi’s been having has been nothing but luck.

And though it frustrated her, not mention how much it incensed the Italian to see Yuki dust herself off, Maria continued to lie still. Conserving her strength and feigning weakness for the opportunity to finally strike back!

After catching her breath, Yuki brushed herself off, getting into a stance and looking back over at Maria. She was ready to come charging back in to punish her - only to find that in all that time, Maria hadn't even budged! She blinked a few times, still trying to parse what was going on. Surely it would have been in Maria's favor to get back up, she thought. Surely she couldn't be down that long, given how she had gotten out of the pin so easily...

Nevertheless, Yuki huffed, shrugging her shoulders as she ran back toward the ropes. Hoping that she could keep an advantage while Maria was down, she charged at them, hoping to use the rebound as she ran back at Maria to land an elbow drop on her!

Maria heard Yuki’s footsteps as she ran towards the ropes. A few seconds later, Yuki returned, and with her arm raised to drop an elbow on the Italian.

Sadly for the joshi, Maria had other plans. Maria would roll to the side in an attempt to dodge the elbow drop. Then, using adrenaline and the stamina she had been conserving, Maria would spring up, ignoring the aches in her pack. The Italian would then grab Yuki by the hair (and take great satisfaction in doing so) and pull the rookie up.

”How do you like it?! You idiotic cretin?!” Maria would yell and then when Yuki got on her feet, Maria would try to grab the same arm she’s been targeting through the match and try to force it into a hammerlock. If she succeeded, Maria would then move her head underneath Yuki’s other right arm, as the aristocrat would hook her own right arm around the joshi’s head, using her left to keep Yuki’s weakened arm in the hammerlock.

With Maria down, Yuki was sure that the path was perfectly clear for her. As she neared Maria, with the momentum of the ropes behind her, she threw herself forward, elbow raised to try and slam it into her - only for Maria to suddenly roll out of the way! Yuki's eyes went wide seconds before she hit the mat, causing her to let out a groan as she could herself stunned.

Soon, she was dished out some karma for all the targeting she had been doing of Maria's hair, as the Italian pulled her to her feet - and to Yuki's dismay, Maria had no qualms about holding back as she had. She let out a wail of pain as she arched her back and winced, and that wail only grew louder as Maria returned to her scheme of weakening the Japanese girl's already weary arm. After Yuki had gone for the elbow drop with her better arm and only met canvas with it, now both were growing sore - and that was hardly a position she liked to be in.

Yuki began to stagger on uneasy footing, her back arched as Maria held her arm behind her. And if things weren't bad enough, Maria also put the pressure down on her head! Yuki tried to shake her head in the hopes of relieving the pressure on her temples. The best she could do was to try and stagger forward, hoping she could get to the ropes without Maria holding her back too much!

Maria giggled as Yuki tried to escape her hold. The sight of her foe pathetically trying to grasp at the ropes amused the di Valentina to no end. ”Oh dearie… do you really think you’ll get away?” The aristocrat asked in sweet, venomous tone. ”Poor girl, you’re not going anywhere without your lady’s permission!”

And with that, the Italian aristocrat then attempted to lift Yuki up in the air and fall backwards. She would still hold on to the hammerlock as she lifted the rookie up and would only let go at the last second before Yuki would hit the canvas. Yuki’s poor arm would bore the brunt of the impact when Maria finished her hammerlock suplex!

While Yuki had felt the rush of adrenaline that came with leading the match just mere moments ago, as she had gotten a pin attempt in on Maria after using the momentum of a splash from the top ropes to her favor, now the Italian had taken the lead once more! She had gone for Yuki's arm, the same one that had been softened up so much earlier in the match, and the pain hadn't died down any now. Being wrenched up on her aching appendage was enough to make Yuki cry out in pain, but even that wasn't as bad as being thrown back down directly on it!

The agony went coursing through Yuki's body as she landed on her sore arm, her back bucking up from the canvas as her scream filled the arena. Many of the fans looked on speechless, while Yuki could only do her best to fight through it, writhing back and forth and kicking at the air.

Yuki's screams caused Maria's heart to flutter. Schadenfreude was such a wonderful feeling. Maria then got up and walked towards Yuki, smirking at the peasant's pain. "Has it finally dawned on you, you stupid cow?" Maria venomously asked as she'd attempt to stomp on Yuki's injured arm.

If she was successful, Maria would continue to glare down at Yuki. "That trash like you can never best those of noble blood, like me!" The gothic aristocrat shouted as she then try to stomp on Yuki's weakened limp again. And then she try again. And again. And again as all of her cold, calculating attitude would evaporate to her burning rage at the Japanese rookie!

Yuki was already hurt - and now, lying on the ground, she was powerless to keep her opponent away from her, an opponent who was still dead-set on further torturing Yuki's wounded arm. She let out another cry as Maria stomped her foot down on her, her fingers spasming in pain. Yuki was beginning to wonder how much more she could take of this. Tears were already forming in her eyes, and she had to grimace to try and bear through it; she knew full well that if Maria noticed her crying she would be eager to taunt her about it.

But at the same time, Yuki was wondering if she should just tap out now. She was definitely in enough pain to, and she was beginning to worry if this would leave her with any lasting injuries. But she quickly pushed that thought aside. She couldn't. She wasn't even in a hold - to give up, especially against an opponent as wicked and merciless as Maria, would be admitting she wasn't capable of going the distance and achieving true success in the ring.

She wouldn't have that.

More and more stomps came down on Yuki's arm, and she was beginning to grow sore there. It was getting to the point where she was so numb she couldn't quite feel much of anything. But she was emboldened by the realization that something had to be done - and she would take action! Yuki threw her weight to the side, trying to roll out of the way as Maria raised her foot, so that the Italian aristocrat would only stomp the mat, hopefully stunning her!

Maria snickered as she heard Yuki's screams. The screams of the unworthy... not even Pagliacci can match such beautiful music. The Italian aristocrat also noticed tears welling up in Yuki's eyes, cause the goth to brake out in sadistic laughter.

Gwahahahaa! Crying dear? Oh you poor thing," Maria would start as she'd continue to brutally stomp the weaken limb. "Just tap dear! You fought we... oh, I can't lie to you, you fought terribly," Maria would continued as she continued those relentless stomps. "But don't worry, just because you're too useless to wrestle, doesn't mean I can find a use for you..." She trailed off as she then got another dark smirk. "I know, you can be my new maid!"

And with that, Maria would give one last brutal stomp before going for the kill... only the stomp never came. For, as Maria was about to slam her foot on Yuki's arm, the rookie joshi rolled over, causing the stomp to completely miss!

"Gah!" Maria cried as her foot slammed on the mat, causing the aristocrat to awkwardly stumble, stunning the spiteful Italian!
