Rebecca had managed to clear some space for a bit of breathing room. Moving forward she would pull her hand back before launching it toward Sakura's face. Expecting to see the idol's face open for an attack Rebecca instead saw the idol advancing and a fist coming straight for her face. "She's got me!" Rebecca's fist carried her straight into the waiting strike of Sakura. "Grhh!"
Rebecca would crumble backwards returning to the mat once again. Spread on the canvas clinging to a sliver of consciousness the blonde expected to feel her leg pulled into the air once again and the smack of the refs hand against the mat. However, the moment never came. Everything seemed quiet to Rebecca, but in reality the crowd had erupted in cheers. Unknown to Rebecca her strike had landed flush just as Sakura's had sending both fighters to the mat. The ref would check both fighters, but it was soon apparent that neither was moving to their feet.
Standing back from the pair a little the ref would begin a count.
ONE!...TWO!...THREE!...FOUR!...FIVE!...

Re: A Rookie's Dream: Rebecca Blue vs. Sakura Hagiwara
Sakura was out of it. In fact as is she was floating between the land of dreams and the waking, looking up at the lights through half lidded eyes, utterly rocked by Rebecca's last punch, unaware that she had the same effect, if not greater on her opponent. Not that it mattered, since as it was, she was on the brink of passing out, and the count out for both downed woman was only continuing further with no chance of Sakura to stop it!
"SIX!... SEVEN!... EIGHT!... NINE!!!
Looking around for a moment as if to make sure but when it was apparent that neither Sakura nor Rebecca were going to rise he sighed before finishing it..
TEN!!!"

Re: A Rookie's Dream: Rebecca Blue vs. Sakura Hagiwara
Rebecca was stirred slightly from her near unconscious state by the bell ringing indicating the end of the match coupled with the roar of the crowd shortly after.
DING! DING! DING!
The next thing she noticed was someone kneeling near her saying her name and giving her cheek a few light taps to try and rouse her back to reality. Her eyes finally began to flicker open blinded by the lights and still slightly confused with the fog still churning in her head. "Can you hear me?" The first words Rebecca could make out since light filled her eyes drew a confused look from the blonde.
"Ye...ye...yeah." She was still weak from the match as a ref helped pull her up to a sitting position. Sitting up, the pain in the blonde's head came all at once as she grasped onto it with both hands. "Wha...uh...what happened?" She didn't remember much aside from seeing Sakura standing across from her when they were on their feet.
"Double knockout. Looks like you both had the same idea and put each other down so ended up a draw." Rebecca took a few moments to process what she'd been told. Looking up she would see another official trying to rouse Sakura as well when it finally hit the blonde. "I managed to get a draw against Sakura!" Rebecca froze for a moment as she processed the information. She'd idolized Sakura when she started wrestling and she'd managed to pull out a draw against her!

Re: A Rookie's Dream: Rebecca Blue vs. Sakura Hagiwara
Sakura was still more or less out of it by the time the bell rang, only barely starting to raise her head up as a ring attendant approached her and helped her up. "Ugh..." Sakura groaned out softly as she rose up to a seated position before finally looking around and taking some kinda notice to what was going on. "What... what happened? Did I lose?" Sakura asked with a light tremble in her voice, absolutely ashamed if she had lost yet again. Only that wouldn't be the case, instead... it was a draw.
"A draw?" She asked confused, honestly unsure how to process this but... it wasn't a defeat, but it wasn't a victory either. It was relatively new territory for her as she turned towards her opponent and took a deep breath before slowly but surely forcing herself up into a standing position. Walking gingerly towards Rebecca the idol would hold her hand out to the blonde. "Rebecca right? That was... incredible. You're very strong." Sakura said ever the good sport. After all, while she may have been disappointed at not winning, she wasn't entirely bitter because she hadn't lost either, and Rebecca deserved proper respect as a strong opponent, especially since she looked up to her.

Re: A Rookie's Dream: Rebecca Blue vs. Sakura Hagiwara
Still rubbing her head trying to ease even a little bit of the throbbing pain, Rebecca looked up at hearing her name. She saw Sakura standing above her offering a hand which Rebecca promptly took as she went to her feet with Sakura's assistance. "Yeah...Thanks that means a lot coming from you!" Rebecca took a couple seconds to steady herself after finally returning to her feet.
"I thought you had me there! I was expecting to get rolled up for the count!" Rebecca would give a little chuckle that only exasperated the pain in her head wincing at the pain. Even if she had lost she wouldn't have been that upset since she'd actually been able to wrestle someone she looked up to and respected. However, a draw against Sakura was better than she had expected to get when she stepped through the ropes.
"I can't tell you how thrilled I was to compete against you! I'd love to get the chance again!"

Re: A Rookie's Dream: Rebecca Blue vs. Sakura Hagiwara
Despite the pain of losing definitely coursing through her right now Sakura wasn't letting it affect the way she treated Rebecca... After all the girl had fought hard and was a fan of hers even, she couldn't let her walk away without knowing how good she did. Helping the blonde to her feet Sakura blushed slightly at the praise heaped on her by the blonde and nodded back.
"Thank you... Honestly it could have genuinely gone either way, you're beyond impressive and I'd love to face you again!" Sakura said with a smile, Rebecca's infectious energy picking her spirits up. "Although more importantly.. I noticed you made some small mistakes, and while I'm in no position to really teach... I'd be happy to show you some things to improve if you're interested." Sakura offered, her innate kindness pushing her to want to help someone that she respected as both a competitor and a fan.

Re: A Rookie's Dream: Rebecca Blue vs. Sakura Hagiwara
Rebecca stood stunned for several seconds at Sakura's offer. The woman she'd followed for some time and never dreamed she'd get to face had just offered to teach her! The awkward silence finally broke when a yell from the crowd brought the blonde back to reality. "Are you serious!? The blonde's eyes lit up at the opportunity! She never would've thought this type of opportunity would've have been presented to her!
"I would love that!" Rebecca hopped a couple times becoming more giddy by the moment. She'd turned from opponent back to a true Sakura Hagiwara fan in a moment. "Anything you have to offer I'll take it! Compared to a lot of wrestlers in LAW Rebecca was still in her infancy in regards to career and experience. Any advise she could take on from a veteran was welcome. Even more so when it was coming from someone like Sakura!

Re: A Rookie's Dream: Rebecca Blue vs. Sakura Hagiwara
Sakura smiled sweetly at Rebecca's reaction, finding it rather sweet and endearing. Definitely helping Sakura feel all the better about the offer that she had made to the blonde and with a nod of respect to the girl she would step back from her. "Well I'm happy you're excited, we'll definitely work out a day to get togeher and train. I'm actually looking rather forward to it myself now." Sakura said happily with a nod to Rebecca before turning and making her exit from the ring, content with the result now and very much interested in the coming training session they'd have together.
