A Day At The Beach (for ReticentOne)

After flinging the sand backwards, Karen heard Enrieta spitting and gagging, and then the hold was released. The release was one of the most blissful things Karen had ever experienced, as the sharp pressure on her back disappeared. Gasping softly, Karen rolled away from Enrieta, clutching her back, knowing that just now she had brought herself some valuable time.

Thankfully, Enrieta did not press the attack again. As Karen got up to her hands and knees, she noticed that the two of them had attracted a circle of surprised, shocked, and in some cases excited and entertained onlookers. Karen paid them no heed as she tried to push herself up, one eye screwed shut: her back was still throbbing with unbelievable pain.

"I attacked you?" Karen spat, unable to believe how much Enrieta was twisting the events. "I was careful to avoid hitting anyone! You're the one who attacked ME, you bloody psycho! She was biding her time, giving herself some valuable seconds to try to recover before Enrieta came after her again. She knew she couldn't take another hold like the one Enrieta just used on her...

Karen's refusal to submit made it abundantly clear to the Romanian as far as she could tell, If she was going to bring this fight to an end, she'd need to put the woman's lights out or break some part of her body. That meant going back on the attack.

"You charged at me first, Karen!" Enrieta said as she'd try to get to her knees in front of the tanned blonde. It would be for the purpose of resuming with a 1-2 attack, a left handed punch aimed at her gut, followed by a right handed uppercut to her head.

"After you broke my fucking board!" Karen snapped back, even as Enrieta resumed her attack. She had needed that time to recuperate, and now that Enrieta was charging right at her again, she was in a good position to fight back. As Enrieta got level with her and fired a punch at her, Karen grunted and doubled over as the fist connected with her midsection...

...and then suddenly tried to clamp her arm over Enrieta's, trapping it against her side and trying to reel her in. If she managed that, Karen would swing her head forward, trying to take Enrieta by surprise and stunning her with a vicious headbutt!

Enrieta's first punch landed without issue, doubling her foe over and presenting her with an opportunity to follow up with a ruthless uppercut that'd rock her enemy's head and potentially even strain her neck from having her head suddenly forced back. Unfortunately for Enrieta, Karen had the wareness to grab the Romanian Viper's arm and pull her towards her, which was quickly followed by tough headbutt that flung her neck flung back.


"Gahh" Enrieta exclaimed, after taking Karen's forehead to her nose. She'd been punched there earlier in their fight, which she led her to commit to making sure that she'd make Karen bleed first. She failed at that, as she could feel blood trickling out of her nose.

Karen's head was ringing a little after her skull collided violently with Enrieta's. She swayed unsteadily as she stood back up, groaning a little. That headbutt, admittedly, had hurt like hell, but it had definitely been worth it, as Enrieta had clearly taken the worst of it: the Romanian Viper was sent staggering back, her nose now bleeding from where Karen had struck her.

The Maori wasn't about to give the Romanian time to recover: with a yell, she lunged forward, raising an arm as though to nail Enrieta with a lariat. At the last second, though, she would try to raise a knee, hoping to ram it into Enrieta's stomacha and double her over. If Karen managed that, then she would try to follow up by wrapping an arm around Enrieta's head and dropping backwards to ram her face-first into the ground!

Enrieta was still more then a little groggy from having take a forehead to her nose. Not only that, she felt embarrassed. Moments ago she could have broken this girl's back, but now this Karen was getting to beat her bloody.

No, more she resolved, when she heard the Maori woman yell, certainly charging at her a new. It looked like a lariat, the girl was clearly intended catch the Viper's face with a forearm to make her bleed some more.

So Enrieta planned on ducking at the last moment, to drive a straight punch, targeting the girl's liver again. Maybe this time she'd rupture it.

Unfortunately for the Flying Snake, Karen has concealed her intentions, the lariat was a feint and instead Enrieta would start to duck her chest into a stiff knee.

Karen, of course made use of her smaller opponent being sent reeling backwards. She wrapped her arm around Enrieta's head and drove it hard into the ground. Sand or not, it hurt and the woman's bleeding nose would leave the point of impact with recognizeably bloody imprint.

Karen took a deep breath, sweat going down her brown skin from both the summer heat above and the rough fight she had found herself in. Below her, Enrieta lay face down in the sand, blood slowly pooling from the cut on her forehead into the beach. Things had, admittedly, gotten a bit out of hand, and she figured she might have to call an ambulance for the Romanian bitch when this was all over. But first, of course, she would have to make sure she ended this fight.

Grabbing a hold of Enrieta's hair, Karen would try to yank her opponent up to her feet. From there, she would grab Enrieta's shoulder with one hand and her knee in the other, before trying to hoist the Romanian up onto her shoulders. If all went according to plan, she would press down on Enrieta's chin and knee, bending her back across her shoulders in her signature torture rack submission finisher!

"Now," Karen huffed, "apologize for breaking my fucking board, or I'll go and break you instead!"

Enrieta was in pain from the torture rack, but even more than that, she was tired. Not only physically, but emotionally. Time after time, she held felt that was was moments away from ending this Karen. From breaking her like the she had already broken her board, only to fall short to avoidable mistakes. Maybe if she had aimed the uppercut to the back of her head a little lower, it'd have rendered her unconscious, maybe if she kept her mouth shut while using here paralyzing venom finisher, she'd have gotten a tap or broken her back.


None of that mattered all that much now. At this point all Enrieta could do while her spine was grinding against Karen's shoulders was scream while attempting to ram her elbow at the woman's head, aiming specifically for her ear, hoping she'd be dropped. If that didn't work, she'd just tap out before sustaining any serious damage.

Karen continued to breathe hard as she stretched Enrieta across her shoulders, stretching away at the Romanian girl's spine with all of her considerable strength. She heard Enrieta screaming as her back was contorted painfully: gritting her teeth, Karen kept stretching-- not enough to break her foe's spine or cause serious damage, but just enough to make it really hurt.

Suddenly, one elbow slammed against Karen's skull, followed by another. Karen cried out, swaying unsteadily as her vision greyed a little. She tried as best she could to hold on; a few more elbows like that, though, and she might have to let go. "RRRr....just...apologize...already!" she managed to say, trying to maintain the torture rack as much as she could.

Despite the fact that her will to keep going at been in steep decline moments ago, it was clear her desperate efforts to elbow Karen's head were bearing fruit. She felt that she might be able to break free, that she might get to turn the tide against a woman she was really building a full blown hatred of.

It didn't mean Enrieta would stop screaming from the hold. Karen still held it tight and she still seemed willing to snap the Romanian's spine, if she wasn't outright aiming for. But it did mean that the flying snake felt she could endure long enough to elbow the Karen into losing the hold, from there, well, Enrieta could work towards making her foe pay for the pain that she had just been causing her, with interest.
