NCWF Special Event: Blaise Cameron vs. Tomoya Akiyama

Blaise tenses his arms around her waist a little more, grinding the girl's struggling form against himself. Oh yes, her losing the jacket was a major improvement all around. It's difficult to not appreciate it more, given their proximity. Every little squirm, all the struggling, it just emphasizes her curves and frame against him. And in the grand and storied history of bearhugs, never has the little shin-kicks of a victim succeeded in a release.

A nagging part of him still feels like he might be overdoing it. It rails against the part of his brain that insists she'd be insulted if he went easy on her, and that doing so would undermine her as an athlete. Being this close to her face, his bright blue eyes study hers. Labored exhales beat against her lips as the hold continues. His back arches, pressing his body tighter into hers while his biceps flex, constricting around her waist.

He doesn't want her unconscious. He wants her pliable and defenseless. He feels like he's in maybe the best position of his career so far, and if he can just keep it up and rally the audience, he may actually pin someone!

Her kicks landed, but Blaise stood firm and stalwart as he continued to constrict his biceps around the girl's petite waist. The bearhug was really doing its job now, draining Tomoya of her energy and determination as she felt her skin on fire from the sheer pressure Blaise was applying. "No..." She mumbles, her eyes still alight with zeal in them. A small part of her, through the pain and torture, even still appreciated the close physical contact she had with Blaise. Tomoya just wished it wasn't at the expense of her pain and career.

Blaise arcs his back slightly, squeezing her harder. Tomoya squeaks as she feels the energy truly drain for her. The girl's limbs begin to go slack. She's still struggling. She's fighting to break free. But if this keeps up, she'll go unconscious and the match will be as good as over. Her eyelids are even starting to flutter, showing how difficult it was for the girl to stay awake at this point...

Blaise grinds Tomoya just a little longer in the bearhug, watching her very closely. The last thing he wants is for her to pass out! That's not the sort of showstopper he'd want to give the audience! Her arms sag, he keeps the clutch running. Her eyes start to lid, and he suddenly eases up around her waist. The girl is lowered to her boots again, and he takes a moment to just let her breathe.

The audience gets a show of sorts, with Blaise simply keeping the girl in an upright hug, clearly no longer crushing her into himself, but giving her a chance to recuperate a little. It could well be a mistake on his end, but he's taking that chance to not have his first victory be a knockout. Plus, it just felt more... nice?

"Ready for more?," he asks, face tilting towards her a hair further.

Though she was doing her best to remain awake, Tomoya knew that she was moments away from losing this match. Blaise might seem a goofball, he might not be a titan of the ring, but he still knew how to apply his strength. His muscles weren't for show either - Tomoya had learned that while appreciating them up close many a time during the night. Her eyelids began to droop, and that was when she expected her consciousness to finally fade...only for the pressure around her waist to abrupt suddenly. The surprise of her feet touching the ground again, but still remaining upright, caused her eyes to snap open. She was still pressed up against Blaise's smooth, toned frame, but no longer in a bearhug. It was...just a hug. Was he flirting with her? Was he pitying her?

Tomoya felt a blush rise on her face. "You're..." She could use a multitude of words to describe him. One word came to her mind before the rest. "Genuine, Blaise." She finally said. "And I appreciate that. But you can't choose your victories, you have to work for them." She knew that well. She had worked her whole life for a chance to finally stand triumphantly in the spotlight! "So...what I'm saying is, you're just handing this match to me on a silver platter."

She'd shift her leg back while speaking, and suddenly rocket up her knee to her opponent's exposed midsection! If she nailed this, she'd step out of the hug Blaise no doubt would relinquish to cover his smarting abs as Tomoya leaned forward, a spark of vigour returning to her expression. "So stop taking this lightly! And me while we're at it!" Then the girl would run to the ropes, pressing herself back against them for a strong rebound. And as she came towards her opponent, Tomoya would leap off her feet to shoot her legs out to slam her heels into Blaise's gut again, hoping to pull off her finisher...The Lionheart Kick!!

Seeing her seem to come to again puts a small, subtle smile on Blaise's face. The girl gets to keep her dignity, the audience gets a better show, and Blaise gets to feel a little better about himself. And the first thing she says to him makes him feel even better! 'Genuine'. That's a nice word.

She keeps talking, and the tenor has changed up completely. Suddenly, he finds himself on the defensive, despite being the one holding the girl, despite having just spared her a potentially embarrassing defeat. "Wha-.. but.. no, I-..," he argues haplessly. And in the end, a bony knee rams into his toned midsection for his trouble. "Hff..!"

Indeed, Tomoya gets free of his grasp while he staggers, reeling from the blow he'd been completely unprepared for. Only when he starts to straighten again does he realize his spritely opponent is in the air, boots thrust out. She drills her kick into the center of his stomach, folding him over before blasting him down to the mat.

Blaise lies there, supine, completely open for her. His head turned aside, eyes shut, muscles visibly tensed from the hit, chest and abs rising and falling heavily with each breath.

Tomoya didn't exactly know what Blaise was expecting. He'd set her down, he'd given her an opportunity to turn the tide. And the girl was sure as hell gonna take it, that motivation only fueling her body and mind as she made a bold jump to strike Blaise right in the stomach with her heel. The result in almost poetry - a perfect hymn of Blaise collapsing to the ground and folding over as he lay sprawled out on the mat, completely winded from the move. Tomoya falls down on her side, wincing slightly, but it's the male who is definitely worse off. She stares for the briefest of moments, the handsome wrestler with his head askew, deep breaths exhaling from him as his muscles laid there tense and glistening in sweat.

He almost looked as if he was sleeping. And it was cute. But she couldn't dwell on that right now!

Tomoya scrambled across the mat to throw herself onto Blaise. "Ref!" She yelled, and saw black and white fall down beside her out of the corner of her eye followed by a slap to the canvas. "1!" The girl was panting as she laid across Blaise, feeling his heart thump against her breasts. Her own body was rising up and down in sync with his, and her deep breaths would tickle the barely conscious lad's cheek. Tomoya watched his closed eyes and barely responsive face intently. "Stay down...stay down..." She whispered, yet loud enough that Blaise might hear her.

The referee slammed his hand down on the mat again. "2!" The limb rose back up, ready to end this...

Tomoya's frame is light, but Blaise definitely feels it when it lands over him. He can't exactly call it an unpleasant feeling, even if he's a little annoyed that his gesture was turned against him. He listens to the referee strike the mat once. Twice. Tomoya whispers to him. Suddenly, the teen twists enough to bring a shoulder up off the mat! "No! Not.. nnh.. a chance.." His abs hurt at this point. That kick was brutal. But if anything can be said of Blaise, it's that he's a durable little cuss.

He drops onto his back again, taking a moment to try to soothe out the pain pulsing through his body; pooling his strength and getting ready. She wanted things to be rough, she can have it rough. Hopefully. As soon as he can work up the energy.

Blaise is down. She's on top of him. The form left something to be desired, but she'd fought for her win tonight and she was going to have it one way or the other! She's expecting the three count any moment now, and the wait is excruciating even in that briefest of spots. She has to win. There's no other possible outcome. Tonight, Tomoya finally proves her mother and all those other doubters wrong by claiming victory!

Until Blaise manages to jerk his shoulder off the mat under her, breaking the pin! The girl's face twisted into disbelief as the male breathed out defiance, the audience cheering. "You're kidding me!" She bursts out, staring down at Blaise as if she's never seen anything like him. She thought SHE was determined. This guy was downright single-minded! "This isn't funny anymore, Blaise..." She puffed out, frustrated as she took a hold of his head while he tries to recover to begin guiding him back up to his feet. "Actually, it wasn't funny to begin with."

Rising with him, Tomoya slid her arm around the dazed male's neck and secured him in a tight headlock, pressed against her side as she began to apply pressure while he was still dizzy. "You'd fought hard and I respect that...but it's time you threw in the towel, don't you think?"

Blaise finds himself pulled to his feet and bent over, his cheek pressing into the girl's ribs. His arms loop around her waist, attempting to stabilize himself. He hears what she's saying, he's heard the spiel many times before. So many opponents in the past have urged him to just lie down and let the end come. But that just isn't Blaise's style. Every match requires everything he's got, from start to finish.

"Nh.. I don't.. throw in the towel..!" His biceps clamp around the girl's waist, embracing the headlock. His knees bend, then push out, attempting to heft Tomoya into the air! If hoisted, he'll hop into the air and drop back, aiming to slam the girl head, neck, and shoulders-first into the mat behind him!

Blaise refuses to give in, even in the submission hold. Tomoya is irked by this and applies additional pressure. She supposes she can't fault him too much though. She knew she was more stubborn than a mule, and she always fought to her last breath in the ring no matter how dire things were. But she isn't expecting Blaise's next maneuver, to seize her by the waist and prepare to lift her through the air.

"W-Wait!!" Tomoya cried out, instantly letting her foe go as she soars over the ring in Blaise's arms and gets driven down to the mat! "Ooff!!" Tomoya feels her head, neck and shoulders seize on impact, a tremor of numbness and shock rippling across her flesh. She groans out in pain, only vaguely aware that Blaise still had an iron lock on her waist as she stirs on the canvas...
