Kyoko Kobashi vs. Mary Clarison - Mad Mud Match

If you looked up the TV Tropes page for Defeated by Modesty, Mary Clairson might be listed as an example there. If there was something she still could not handle, it was her lady parts being exposed in any way, she ends up being turned into a flustered heap, only thing she wants is to protect that. So when Kyoko pulled her bikini bottom down, Mary's mindset changed from "Tap this girl out for trying to embarrass me" to "I need to protect my modesty or else I can never show my face again." Luckily, she was able to pull them up before too many cameras could take a clear photo of her not safe for work areas, which had her relieved.

But she also realized she let Kyoko go when she was so close to tapping her out, and therefore Mary got mad at herself. How could she make such an obvious mistake? Stuff like this is why she won't become a serious contender for a championship.

"AAAH!" Mary yelped, as Kyoko speared her straight into the mud, her entire back being covered in it, along with her midsection hurting more from her not expecting it.

This has just been a match she would not want to relive again.

It might have been a cheap shot, but it was the cheap shot that Kyoko needed. In distracting her opponent, she had forced her to turn her attentions away from punishing her, and toward saving her own good name. That gave Kyoko a chance to break free, rolling aside in the mud. While she still felt the aches in her back from where Mary had bent it, rubbing at her side to try and dull the pain, she wasn't about to let that hold her back. What she was more concerned about was that her gambit had worked perfectly. She now had the chance to strike, and it was time to take it!

As Kyoko tackled Mary into the mud, the two girls went skidding across the ring, kicking up a spray in either direction. The delinquent chuckled to herself - it was like being on a water slide, but messier, and with her opponent as a boogie board. But as fun as it was, there were bigger things at stake. Now Mary was down, and the coast was clear for her to strike. When it came to that, she had a trick up her sleeve!

Getting up from Mary, Kyoko turned to the lifeguard tower that served as one corner of the ring and began to climb. It was time to bring this match home, and she was prepared to land with a splash in more ways than one! She turned back around to face her fallen foe, a grin growing wider across her face. Then, with a cheer, Kyoko threw herself off the ladder, holding her arms and legs out at the sides to try and crash down onto Mary with a frog splash!

Mary was in so much pain. Her head fell into the mud, and it felt noticeably hard as she slid through the mud, Kyoko riding on top of her. This mix of pain and humiliation was so terrible for the Bluenette, she only hoped it will all end soon. Kyoko subverted her plan by taking away her modesty. Mary could only groan as she laid in the mud.

Because of this, she did not even notice Kyoko climbing the lifeguard tower, as she layed on the mud. Needless to say,she would not like what happens next.

"AAAH!" Mary screamed as mud flew in the air from the impact of Kyoko's Frog Splash. Mary was laid out, her body covered in Kyoko and mud.

Mary was unable to anything, she was prone for a pinfall attempt.

As she felt herself plummeting downward through the air, Kyoko's grin could only grow wider. Mary had given her more trouble than she expected, but in the end, she was still fighting an uphill battle when she was entirely out of her element in the mud. But Kyoko didn't care about honor, or respectability, or sportsmanship. Kyoko just liked having fun, the more destructive the better. She didn't have any of the hangups her opponent did. And now that Mary was down, all that was left was to end it with a bang - something she was intent on delivering!

"BANZAAAAAAIIIIIII!!!" Kyoko called out, with something between a battle cry and the cheer of an overly excited child or an overly drunk adult jumping into a pool. And then, she came down hard, her body slamming into Mary's at full force. The mud splashed up all around them, and the two went skidding across its slippery surface. But Kyoko could feel Mary deflate against her, the air all but knocked out of her lungs, and she grinned a little wider. Mary was down, and now she had the perfect opportunity to make her move.

Pushing herself up on her hands and knees, Kyoko grabbed for Mary's ankles, hoisting them off the ground before throwing them forward to fold her body over in half. She followed through on the motion, laying herself down on top of Mary's body to hold her down as she was folded over in a jackknife pin with her shoulders against the floor of the pool. The referee leaned in to make the count - and the fans were eager to call out in tune!

Mary's body was in so much pain from the not so light Kyoko falling and sliding on her, as mud came flying all over the ring. Mary was covered in mud spots from head to toe, she was barely able to move. She knew that Kyoko was enjoying this as well. A part of her just wanted to give up, but another part of her knew she can not let the Heartbreakers member win.

Mary was then folded and pinned matchbook style, one that had her ass straight in the air. Mary's face turned a bright red once she knew the position she was in, all the camera flashes that were popping up. She knew she needed to get out of this, she will not lose this way.

So at 2.99, Mary kicked out with all the power she had left, refusing to lose in such a humiliating position. Whether she had enough to continue was a whole question onto itself.

A grin came to Kyoko's face as the count grew higher and higher. This was it! In mere seconds she would have this match won, and the Heartbreakers' dominance would stay strong once she had avenged Misako's most ignoble defeat! Sure, that was in a match far more serious than this one...and one where Mary could be at her full ability, with nothing holding her back...but that didn't matter! The point was, Mary was down in the mud, she wasn't moving, and the count was approaching three. In no time at all, Kyoko would have this won!

But just then, the impossible happened. Even after taking on pains both physical and emotional, even after practically being flattened by Kyoko's frog splash off the ladder, Mary still had it in her to summon all the strength she had in her legs, kicking out! Kyoko's hands were thrown into the air, knocked off of her legs, and the momentum was enough to propel her backward, sending the redhead skidding across the mud on her behind. The whole crowd rung out with cheers at Mary's seemingly impossible escape, coming an instant before the match ended! But Kyoko was just as much caught by surprise. She thought for sure she had Mary down; now, all she could do was stare back at her blankly and wide-eyed in disbelief!

Somehow, Mary managed to keep out of the matchbook pin after the splash, something even Mary doubted about herself. Throughout all the humiliation and the pain she had suffered in this match, she had the power and feeling to keep going. Mary had become more and more resilient throughout her career and the fruits of her labor began to show in this match.

Mary laid on her back in the mud, looking to take a rest. She knew she did not have much time before Kyoko came back at her with even more ridiculous moves. Even if she was not fully recovered, Mary slowly brought herself back to her feet, appearing to be incredibly wobbly to the spectators. It looked as though she was barely able to hold herself up.

Mary just stood in the same part of the mud based ring, waiting for Kyoko to come at her.

Slowly but surely, Mary straightened herself to her feet. She wavered back and forth, the fatigue of the match - and the punishments she'd endured - wearing on her. The traction the mud gave to her feet didn't help much either. It looked as though a stiff breeze would be enough to take her down - and yet, Kyoko still looked on in shock, utterly convinced that she had made an explosive comeback! She had gotten herself worked up into thinking that, as she slammed her weight down into Mary and gone for the pin, she already had the match won. There was no way the blue-haired girl could ever kick out - but she did, and Kyoko was still reeling from the shock! To her, Mary might as well have been an invincible terminator!

She sat there in the mud, staring up at Mary in disbelief for a few more seconds. Soon, though, she realized there was no use in sitting around. At some point, she would need to make her move - and, as she clenched her teeth and shook herself, scattering some droplets of mud from her hair, her look of wide-eyed shock soon turned to a glare of defiance as she picked herself back up, her fists clenching tighter at her sides! Even if Mary's strength and endurance was commendable...Kyoko was one of the Heartbreakers, and they were the fiercest team around! They weren't going to back down for anyone, and no challenge would be too great!

"You know what...that doesn't matter anyway, you're still going down!" Kyoko shouted, punctuating her words with a stomp into the mud. As she came closer, she raised her arms to go to take Mary by the collar and elbow, going in for one last lockup.

Mary was surprised by her own durability, but she knew she could not lose to Kyoko, especially to the Heartbreakers, and definitely not losing to her in a mud pool while wearing a Bikini. Mary was gonna keep wrestling for as long as her body let her, either though the metaphorical tank in her body was near running on empty. She knew she could only make a few moves before she ends up being easy pinning material. She needed to make Kyoko tap somehow.

All of a sudden, Kyoko engaged Mary in a collar and elbow tie up, catching Mary by surprise as she had to quickly react and grab Kyoko back by her collar and elbow. The grip of her body was slippery, and Mary knew she had to make a fast move. She could not lag.

"SUBMIT NOW!" Mary screamed as she attempted to lift her legs and grapevine Kyoko's midsection, and attempt to wrap her arm around Kyoko's neck. Mary was going for a Guillotine Choke, as one last desperate attempt to finish Kyoko off.

As she took hold of her opponent, Kyoko was quick to put on her pressure. She threw her weight forward, inching in closer with her shoulders to try and force Mary to take a step back - a step back that could only be that much more precarious when the two of them were up to their ankles in mud. However, the intensity she put forth against Mary was nothing compared to what she had in store for her. The next thing she knew, Mary had struck, throwing her legs around Kyoko's waist as she jumped up from the ground and swinging her arm around her throat! She'd never seen this coming - one moment, Mary had been standing still and evening out the pressure, and the next moment she was going in for the kill! But the blue-haired girl knew that when she was up against an opponent who was after not just the victory but Mary's own pride, she had no time to waste!

Kyoko's eyes went wide, and she gagged and gasped against the building pressure; her scream came in a hoarse wheeze. Mary needed Kyoko to submit, fast. With both of their bodies slick with mud, there was only so long she could hold on - she just had to hope that the force she could bring against her opponent would be enough to take her down. However, in latching onto Kyoko while she was still standing, Mary had forced her to bear a considerable amount of weight, and when her footing was less than ideal. Even now, even as she hissed and groaned against the pressure building around her and making it harder to take in air, the redhead was beginning to teeter backward against all the added mass her legs were forced to carry. It wasn't long before a thought came to her head. She knew exactly what she could do about this!

Suddenly, Kyoko kicked off the ground. Her feet skidded through the mud, causing her to fall backward - and, as she did, she turned to the side so that Mary would land underneath her. In this way, she hoped to slam her opponent straight down against the mud! If it didn't work, she would have taken herself down with nowhere else to go as Mary was poised to finish her off - but if it paid off, it could mean a world of difference!
