Blossom Vs. Helena Unexpected Matchup

Helena was sure of herself as she flew thinking that this was the end of Blossom! It was the end of something...but it wasn't Blossom as she moved! Helena's momentum came to a painful, sudden halt as she crashed against the mat letting out a loud moan of agony as she rolled to her side grabbing the arm she had extended for the elbow drop! Helena kicked the mat in pain knowing that she had blown a golden opportunity to put this woman down for three! She would have other chances, but right now Blossom had a great chance to fight back as the tall Canadian was down.

Close. That one had been too close.

Blossom barely avoided the crashing, rolling away with mere seconds to spare, leaving her opponent to come down hard, right on the bone. A good move with a great result, but she didn’t have much energy left for celebration - everything hurt, all over, and she knew this was her last, best chance to turn this in her favor.

Desperate, Blossom rolled to her knees and crawled towards Helena. She reached out, tried to pull her arm between her legs, and attempted to lock in an armbar, hoping to target the limb she’d just damaged.

Helena was in pain on the mat as she groaned with Blossom not wanting to give her breathing room. Helena was aghast as this little lady was now targeting the arm that crashed to the mat causing Helena to howl out in agony as the hold was applied! "You miserable wretch!" Helena hissed as she arched her back, bucking her hips up. She reached over to grab at the arm Blossom had pulling it back to relieve some pressure while using her legs to try to tip blossom onto her shoulders to put her in a pinning position! Helena was vile... but she was also smart with good technical skills. She knew Blossom would let go or lose the match.

Helena was a mean, mean woman, but credit where it was due - she was good at what she did, showing good ring awareness. Whereas most people would’ve panicked when the armbar locked in, she kept her cool, and even turned the situation to her advantage. Blossom gasped as she was rolled over and folded, finding herself in a pinning position.

Blossom let go of the hold, just as the referee’s hand was coming down a second time, and rolled away, desperate to put some distance between them. She popped to her feet and tried to make some space between them, hoping to get away and recover before Helena could follow.

Helena managed to free herself rising up as she rubbed her effected shoulder. She wanted to end this but Blossom was proving resilient like a pesky weed growing in a garden.

Helena was about to apply the weed spray moving in as she grabbed Blossom and swung her knee up at Blossoms abdomen before Helena popped a small gold pill in her mouth. She wanted to be ready to deploy her gold mist but for now she would try to put this pesky lady down without it attempting a snap suplex to try to regian control.

Blossom could feel the situation spiraling out of control as things went on. She’d done an excellent job of holding out to this point, surviving far longer than most would think she should, but her luck was always bound to run out at some point. As her opponent hounded her and she went into retreat, she suspected this was that point.

She wasn’t entirely done just yet, though, and as Helena moved in and seized her for the suplex, she saw her chance - a small one, but she had to go for it. The knee knocked the wind out of her, but she still had enough wherewithal to resist, and she hooked her opponent’s leg to keep her rooted and resist the move. Hoping to change her fate, Blossom gritted her teeth, pulled Helena in tight against her body, lifted her up, and tried to bring her up and over with a Northern Lights Suplex, attempting to spike her hard onto her upper back.

Helena thought she had Blossom right where she wanted her but as the lift attempt was blocked Helena looked on in shock as she instead was sailing overhead! "What are you- ARRRGGHHH!" Helena howled as she hit the mat kicking her long legs against the canvas and thrusting to the side trying to at the very least prevent herself from being pinned after the hard impact! Even if so she was in no shape to get up as the impact coupled with the unexpected surprise left her stunned flat on her back on the canvas.

Helena didn’t stay down for the pin, but that was fine - Blossom honestly didn’t have the energy to hold the bridge, anyway. She was at the end of her rope, so battered by Helena’s merciless attacks that she was practically on fumes. Her only real choice at this point was to soldier one with what little energy she had, which meant it was time to go big or go home.

Blossom moved back up to her feet, seized her opponent’s leg, flipped her over and hugged her foot tight to twist her with the Ankle Lock, wrenching the limb in a direction never meant to go. ”Just…give up!”

Helena was being woman-handled by this vile little brat! She howled in pain and thrashed as she shook her head violently side to side! "Shut your mouth you little bratty bitch! I will put you in your place at the bottom of the pecking order where you belong!" Helena shouted thrashing side to side! She needed to use her long legs as she knew if she could get in position her plan was to thrust hard at Blossoms grip with her free leg hoping to kick her way to freedom out of this painful hold!

Blossom held on for dear life, because, in a way, this was her lifeline - if she let go, if she gave up, she was doomed. This was all she had, her last spurt, and she hoped against hope that it might be enough…

…but it just wasn’t. Helena proved too strong, too tenacious, and her kicking about threw Blossom away, dropping her hard on her back. Groggy, she rolled to her chest and tried to push her way up, but it was more instinct than anything at this point - she was fresh out of ideas.
