Reiko Hinomoto vs. Ms. Spencer - Refresher Course

Muriel might have had the wherewithal to avoid getting pinned, but she knew well enough to realize that this was, at best, a momentary reprieve. The Zero Fighter was nothing if not persistent, as their time shared in Rumble Roses had proven many times, and that tenacity would run over her if she wasn’t careful.

A tactical retreat, then, to catch her breath, or so she hoped, but her opponent proved too quick for even that, securing her head before she could get a clean getaway. She struggled to be free, but Reiko’s grip proved implacable for the moment, as she hefted her upwards, braced herself, and…

A fisherman’s buster, a fitting move for two women in the mud. Muriel came down hard on her back, creating a geyser on impact, and she was laying there when it clear, heaving, in pain, and staring up at the sky. ”Impressive as ever, Ms. Hinamoto.”

Driving Ms. Spencer down with another heavy move that shot mud up into the sky, Reiko laid on her back as she panted. Even with experience in the mud, it was still a taxing affair for her to move like she would in the ring, needing a moment to catch her breath in the cold mud. Ms. Spencer was right there with her as she also needed to recover from the flurry of heavy moves that the Zero Fighter unleashed as the effects was showing on both of them.

“Ha…well you’re not making it easy.”

She replied bemused, her body was groaning as the mud seeped around her, her breaths were a bit more labored than the Canadian Teacher after lifting and throwing around the larger woman, the expense of stamina took a greater toll on her as she was fine taking a brief moment to catch her breath if Ms. Spencer was of the same mind!

It was good to know that Reiko was feeling the effects of their battle, as well, wheezing through labored breaths as the match went on. Mud Matches were more taxing than many realized, especially in the hot sun - the horrid substance had a way of covering the pores, made sweating a much more arduous task than it would be otherwise. Actions that would’ve been simple in normal circumstances were made into chores.

While that was typically something that worked against her, in this moment, it proved to be a boon for Muriel - that last move had taken almost as much out of Reiko as it did herself. This was her chance.

Gritting her teeth, she rolled over and grabbed the woman’s leg, trying to ensure it and pulled it between her own, with a grip under her shoulder. With that secured it would be a simple matter to pull back on the limb and apply a knee brar, doing some serious damage to her foe’s lower body.

Thinking she had more time to recover, Reiko was in for a shock as Ms. Spencer suddenly surged out of the mud with the accompany splashing obscuring Reiko’s vision. But it didn’t take long for her to figure out what her fellow Rumble Rose had in store for her, feeling the limbs wrap and coil around her leg, Ms. Spencer rolling into her leg and pain suddenly shooting through it!

“Aaaaaaaaah!” She screamed out, falling back into the mud as she was caught with a knee bar, her hands shooting down onto Ms. Spencer’s hip to try and jostle herself free.

The pain was immense, Ms. Spencer had locked her heel underneath her shoulder and ensuring that maximum amount of torque to tear away at her leg, knowing that she needed to escape! She rolled to the side, trying to drag herself away from Ms. Spencer while also trying to keep her leg straight enough to prevent an even more painful angle!

Simple, effective, dangerous. In other words, the knee bar was very much Muriel’s sort of move.

She locked it on tight, gave Reiko a solid jolt, then eased up on the pressure somewhat. Enough to hurt, clearly, but she had no interest in doing this woman real damage. She still considered this woman one of her dearest friends; the last thing she wanted was to cause her permanent harm.

For now, she gripped the hold, tight but not too tight, anchoring Reiko as she attempted to make her escape. It wasn’t happening, not if she could help it. ”Submit, Ms. Hinamoto!” She gave the hold a good wrench, making sure she understood the stakes. ”I’ve you dead to rights!”

“Aaaaaaaaaaaugghhh!”

Reiko’s cries echoed out of the mud pit and onto the sunny beach as she was trapped in the painful knee bar, splashing in the mud as she tried to pull herself away from Ms. Spencer. However, she was getting no reprieve from the technically sound hold, even submerged in mud the Canadian Teacher knew how to maintain her hold showed her technical prowess.

There was a silver lining in the hold, along with Ms. Spencer’s ability to maintain her hold came the ability to limit it from a dangerous hold to a painful one as Reiko’s knee kept stretching out with the groin pressing into her kneecap and with another powerful wrench made it clear how locked in Ms. Spencer was!

“Aaaaaaaagh!”

Another cry left her mouth, falling back into the mud as pain was filled up from bottom to top, quitting was always an option and one that could get her out of this hold, but Reiko was raised with the Japanese Fighting Spirit, she was intent on fighting to the very last! “Noooooooooo!” Her leg was twisted outward, knowing that one portion that needed to be address as she tried to roll over and attempting to get to her front in hopes of alleviating her leg by any means!

Reiko’s stubbornness was impressive, but as her opponent, Muriel would be lying if she said it wasn’t also frustrating. Many wrestlers would’ve given up by now, realizing the seriousness of their situation and craving relief, knowing that their torment wasn’t worth the trouble. Many wrestlers were not Reiko Hinamoto, of course - this woman would fight to her last. Submission simply was not in her DNA.

But if the mind wouldn’t give up, there was always her body. That was a much more accessible target.

Instead of keeping at the leg, Muriel abruptly abandoned it when her foe turned over, letting go and sliding out. She turned about, then pounced on Ms. Hinamoto’s body, where she promptly proceeded to slide forward, attempting to wrap her arms tight around the woman’s neck and catch her with a rear-naked choke. A submission hold that didn’t require a submission, one that would easily put her foe to sleep.

Reiko fought for freedom with all that she had, even if had to expend everything to escape she was going to do it! Splashing in the mud as she tried to pull herself free, her leg and back being bent torturously by Ms. Spencer's design. The options were running out for Reiko, she couldn't think of anything that could've help her except for just brute strength her way out of the hold, keep on crawling until she managed to find an opening.

But she was suddenly freed by Ms. Spencer, her leg dropping down and splashing in the mud as she quickly clutched at her leg. It was in sharp and burning pain that she couldn't process what just happened.

Even as Ms. Spencer's arm came wrapping around her neck!

Her eyes widened as the air was being cut off from her head, her hands reaching up and grasping on the arm but there wasn't any strength in her grip. Coughing soon followed as she laid on her side, half submerged in the mud as Ms. Spencer's arm coiled tighter and tighter around her neck. Her will may have been wanting to fight, but Reiko's body was at the limit too tired and exhausted from rolling around in the mud and fighting to free herself. Hands were unable to keep a grip on Ms. Spencer's arm as the world began to fade away!

Muriel held on for dear life as Reiko went into a furious struggle, once again displaying the endless valor that the Zero Fighter was known for. It would’ve been a challenge to use such a hold on her in normal circumstances, but in the mud, it was nothing less than a trial, as her foe squirmed all about, putting up an endless fight. Even for one as experienced as Muriel, she fear her quarry would come loose more than once.

But, thankfully, she did not. She fought, hard, but she rode down the struggles, taking care to counteract her every move, always tightening, always adjusting. It took a while, longer than it would’ve for almost any normal human, but she could feel the life fleeing her magnificent body. Reiko was fading.

Muriel held on regardless, keeping the grip tight as the referee came over to check for a pulse - if she really was gone and the match was over, she would relinquish the hold without a second thought, not wanting to do any permanent damage to an old friend.

The blood in Reiko's head was running thin as her vision was blackening as she raised her arm up out of the mud, the wet earth dripping off of her and back into the pool as she tried to leverage herself away from Ms. Spencer. But her fellow Rose held her tight against her muddied body, following Reiko's attempts to escape and pulling her right back into her!

The muddied beauties continued to writhe in the mud as Reiko's struggling got weaker and weaker. Her eyes got the heaviest it's ever gotten by this point as she faded as her raised arm finally dropped into the mud.

Quickly the referee went to see on Reiko, grabbing her arm and releasing it to see her condition. The arm dropped right back into the mud, an alarming sight as the bikini'd referee did it again, the same result!

For the third and final time she had lifted the arm and dropped, Reiko's arm splashed into the mud and the referee called for the bell having seen enough! Reiko was out, put to sleep by Ms. Spencer!
