Trapping Akiko in the ankle lock, Megumi would wrench at her ankle, looking to weaken her leg even as Akiko tried to drag herself towards the ropes. Having Akiko attempting to kick at her leg made it difficult for Megumi to maintain the hold, but she would keep holding onto her opponent's leg, withstanding the resistance from her opponent until Akiko was getting closer to the ropes.

Rather than wait for Akiko to reach the ropes, Megumi would release her right away, stepping back and letting her opponent get the ropes. She knew that her opponent's ankle would be hurt enough that she would be having trouble standing on her feet. As she watched her opponent, Megumi hopped on the balls of her feet, waiting for Akiko to leave the ropes.

After some struggling, Akiko was able to get to the ropes, but mostly it was possible due to Megumi letting her go. This bitter reminder stayed with her as she tried to stand up with visible difficulty. Once she was back on her feet, the brunette girl would not take her eyes off from the Valkyrie that waited for her to make her next move.

"Uhhm, you wanna-?" "No" now that she was close to her corner, Daichi was about to offer changing places with his sister after worriedly witnessing her performance against the Combat Genius. "Be ready once it happens, but not yet" She commanded, eyeing her rival, the femboy limited himself to obey and sit idly on the outside for now.

The damage had been masterfully performed, but the petite girl would live and soldier through it. She stood in position, putting her guard up and doing a signal to Megumi with one of her fingers for her to come for her. The most frustrating and humbling part of it was that Akiko began to fear her opponent enough to not dare to make her next move as reckless as usual.

Megumi could see that Akiko was being cautious, which was good for her. Seeing her opponent beckoning her to come, Megumi decided to approach her, albeit slowly. She was already in a ready position, though she didn't show any sign of attacking. As she slowly approached Akiko, Megumi had one trick in her mind, and the Combat Genius smiled as she closed in.

As Megumi was within arm's reach with Akiko, she decided to raise one hand up. The intention of her raising the hand up seemed vague. It felt like she was drawing Akiko's attention to the held up hand. And it was really the case, considering that if Akiko's eyes were drawn to the raised hand, Megumi would immediately jump into action by delivering a forearm's smash right to her face with her other arm. The idea here was that by drawing attention to her raised hand, Megumi would be able to distract Akiko long enough for her to sneak in a forearm smash right to her face.

For that moment, Akiko tried to be cautious and give Megumi the attention she deemed necessary before risking it. That kind of mentality made a person increasingly nervous, and the combative strategist knew this, so as she prepared a bait hit, the brunette girl would keep her guard up for that attack, leaving herself open for the forearm that smashed her face. "Ghnngg!"

Megumi's plan worked like a charm, but that smash helped to make Akiko's blood boil with rage. And once that happened, defense could suck it! It was time for her to deliver some retribution, and she did it by attempting to give the redhead a harsh Chop to her perky breasts, taking advantage of how her chest area should be unprotected with both arms lifted to the air.

It worked like a charm. The moment Akiko was distracted by the raised hand, Megumi sneaked a forearm smash to her face, though Akiko seemed determined to retaliate right after that. After taking the smash, Akiko went to deliver a chop right across Megumi's breasts, causing her to gasp out in pain, grimacing as she stepped back, quickly covering her chest with her arms to make sure that she would not receive more of those hits.

Megumi stepped back to ensure that her opponent wouldn't be able to keep attacking her. Still, she also knew that she needed to keep her defense up, or else her opponent might be able to turn the table.

It had to be noted how Megumi managed to intimidate Akiko enough to force her into defense, but even that didn't sticked. The Japanese fighter had an extremely short wick, and the redhead had managed to lit it the moment she decided to go for the face. This resulted in a hit that forced the Combat genius into her defenses. Yet, the damage had been done, and the petite brunette would not be satisfied until she made some real damage.

Megumi had her defenses up though, Akiko was not optimistic about her chances of piercing that on her own. Still, her sore ankle didn't promised a whole lot of movement, so she needed to be real nifty this time around."What? Scared?" Without giving her foe much room to think, the short girl ran towards her, except not really.

Akiko rushed towards the ropes that were behind Megumi, but she made sure to run as if she was trying to ran her over, and once she made it to the ropes, the small girl would bounce off of the ropes and towards the redheaded strategist, whom she would attempt to kick with a high-velocity Enzugiri kick. "Take this!!!" This would certainly hurt even further her ankle, so she might be looking at that tag sooner than later, but for the moment, she would be focused to hurt Megumi with all she had.

Megumi scoffed when she heard Akiko's taunt, but she would keep the distance between them. She saw Akiko rushing over to her, and she would prepare herself to meet her head on, only for the other woman to slip past her and run towards the ropes to rebound from them. While Megumi managed to react to it and turn around to see her opponent, she wasn't fast enough to avoid the enzuigiri from Akiko.

"URGHH!!"

The enzuigiri hit her right at her head. Luckily for her, Megumi managed to keep herself from falling down, only dropping on one knee. Her head throbbed thanks to the hit, leaving her disoriented. She clutched her head and tried to soothe it, hoping that the pain would go away before Akiko could follow up with her next attack.

"Haghhhh!!! Holly fuck!"That kick hurt Akiko's ankle so much that she actually had to let out a yell of pain and a curse. And yet, once she saw that her Enzuigiri managed to make Megumi kneel, she was about to consider to make another move... That was, until she felt a paper ball hit her in the back of the head. "Aki! No"

Akiko turned her head towards her corner to see her brother berating her for something she didn't even do. "Did you just throw a fucking paper at me?" "I know what you're thinking, you better bring your butt over here and tag me before you make something stupid!"

Even if she was pissed, she figured out that attacking Megumi, who was weak, but not as much as she was, and perhaps putting at risk the victory just for that, really was a mistake. It appeared that her stupid little brother was in the right this time. She decided to use this small opening to crawl on all fours towards her brother in order to change places.

Megumi's head was ringing thanks to the enzuigiri from Akiko earlier, but she didn't fall down on her back, merely on one knee. Then, she looked at Akiko who decided to tag her partner in, and Megumi decided that this was her opportunity to catch her while she was unaware. Fighting through the headache, Megumi pushed herself up and made her way towards Akiko from behind before she wrapped her arms around her waist, pressing her chest against her back at the same time.

"Got you!"

Yelling out, Megumi would then try to hoist Akiko over, looking to send her crashing down into the mat with a German suplex. And upon impact, she would release her body and let her fall onto the mat. While her head still throbbed painfully, Megumi would make sure that she could successfully suplex her opponent and stop her from doing the tag.

While she had her back turned, Akiko got confident that Megumi would not be giving any troubles. Quite a mistake, she realized once she felt something soft pressing against her back and her whole world going upside down before feeling like she fell on her head. Soon enough, the petite girl realized that in a feat of fortitude, the redhead managed to Supplex her away from her partner. "Ugh, dammit!" She cursed after being released to crumble on the mat.

Her plan was still the same, she needed to escape there, she just had to be quick. It would not be easy with her blurred vision and wobbly footing, but Akiko tried to evade Megumi in the hopes of making it to tag her brother. "Hey! You leave my sister alone, Asuka Langley look-alike!" The femboy tried to aid by taunting the combat genius, for all the good it probably wouldn't do.
