Kayla vs. Ryuko Rematch!

Ryuko groaned as her head was rocked by the first harsh hit right to her nose! Ryuko yelped and brought her arms up to cover but she felt the puffy, stuffy feeling knowing her nose was broken and realizing that just a small amount of blood was trickling out her nostrils. Ryuko was on the defensive and bucking her hips up trying her best to dislodge Kayla while keeping her arms socvering her face!

"Five!"

No matter what the ref counted, Kayla wasn't holding back. The timing didn't matter to her any more, as long as she could inflict the damage she needed to to keep Ryuko under control - and after she'd grown so used to being talked down to by the veteran, it felt particularly satisfying to feel her knuckles bounce off her skull again and again. Every punch Kayla threw she put her emotions into, venting all her fury through her fists. Her punches came faster and harder, battering at Ryuko from every angle.

Soon enough, though, Ryuko managed to get her hips up, and Kayla's position was rocked. Feeling herself shaken, she got up from her opponent, getting back on her feet and staggering away to recollect herself. This didn't mean she was out of the game, though - far from it! As soon as Kayla was back up, she came running in toward Ryuko once again. If the Thunder Empress was still down, Kayla would attempt to pull her to her feet by her arm; if she had gotten up, she would instead go into a lockup. Either way, Kayla wanted to keep herself engaged!

"Six!"

Ryuko was hurting, shocked and madder than a hornet! She staggered up and saw Kayla looking for a lockup and Ryuko obliged, eager to show off her fury! the thunder empress moved in grabbing hold and slamming Kayla with hard knee strikes as hard as she could before guiding her against the apron slamming her upper back off the apron corner.

"SEVEN!"

Ryuko wanted to grab Kayla by the hair and smash her head off the apron over and over to keep pounding away at the woman, eager to get a measure of revenge before heading back into the ring with her opponent.

When Kayla reached out to enter another lockup with Ryuko, she had intended to get close enough to let loose with a few pointed blows, softening the Thunder Empress up before getting the two of them back in the ring in time to escape disqualification. But as much as Kayla was prepared to meet Ryuko head-on, nothing could prepare her for what she was in for. Almost as soon as the two had joined arms, Ryuko lashed out with a series of knee strikes, causing Kayla to double over forward, her body draped over her knee! She cried out in pain, but her grip on Ryuko didn't waver. Kayla knew she had to last this out, no matter what.

It wouldn't get any easier as Ryuko steered her against the ring apron. Kayla felt the corner of the ring bounce against her spine, causing a shudder to go through her body, and then her rival grasped tightly to her hair, shoving her head down hard against the hardest part of the ring! She cried out in pain, her face growing red as she reeled from the impact. All Kayla knew was that she was in a hard place to be, and she would need to do something to save herself! She shot up with her hands, looking to get a grasp on Ryuko's throat to apply a chokehold. If she was successful, she would hold down on it, trying to take back control and push the veteran back enough to get her leg in between them, in which case she would kick up with a knee to the gut of her own, hoping to land a few hits!

"EIGHT!"

Ryuko thought she had het Kayla hard enough to stagger or stun her but she was mistaken! The fast choke grip gave Ryuko pause and as she cocked her fist ready to rock Kayla she took knee after knee to the abdomen doubling her over! "Ugghhhhh......." Ryuko groaned. She was hurting and nearly slumping down, being humiliated and outright destroyed outside the ring by the smaller wrestler.

"NINE!"

Ryuko tried to punch Kayla in the abdomen, reaching out to grab her by the hair in order to toss her up onto the apron, shoving her underneath the bottom rope. The aching, hurting Ryuko would painfully climb up, her face twisted in agony from the punishment she had taken outside the ring coupled with the embarrassment of Kayla out-brawling her. Ryuko would roll under the bottom rope to narrowly beat a count out.

Having her head thrown into the corner of the ring apron definitely hurt. There was no denying that. But at the same time, Kayla didn't want it to keep her from doing what she needed to do. She couldn't submit to Ryuko, especially not when she'd been through worse the last time the two of them had met in the ring. Since then, Kayla had grown - and she needed to prove that!

Groaning and clenching her teeth, Kayla felt the adrenaline take hold, giving her the extra impetus to fight back. She looked up with Ryuko with fiery eyes, and she latched on tightly to the veteran's throat, holding her back with a chokehold! From there, Kayla was able to deliver a few knees to Ryuko's gut, winding her as she doubled over forward. Of course, Ryuko herself wasn't done - and she grabbed Kayla by the hair, causing the Californian to go tense and wince in pain from the stabbing sensation in her scalp. She let up with her knees for just long enough for Ryuko to give her the extra push, rolling her into the ring before the Thunder Empress joined her there just before the two were counted out.

It was around this time that the soreness was beginning to catch up to Kayla. She moaned in pain as she pushed herself up onto her hands and knees, rubbing the back of her skull. But as she looked up at Ryuko through half-lidded eyes, she felt the urge in her to do her best and to stand up to her rival take hold once again. Kayla pushed herself to her feet before she was even consciously thinking of what she was doing. Soon, she was coming barreling closer to her opponent, her arm held up to hit her with a clothesline!

Ryuko had been a punching bag outside the ring and as she staggered up she saw Kayla rushing at her. Ryuko wasn't able to move and she was hit in the chest with the clothesline! "Ugh!" Ryuko howled as she stumbled back, only saved from falling down on her back by the ropes being so close behind her. Ryuko bounced off them and sprang her way back, looking to use that momentum to return the favor and plant Kayla with a clothesline of her own!

Kayla took off like a bull seeing red. Her eyes were fixed on Ryuko, and she was determined to make her mark on her. She didn't have time to stop and think about what she was doing, acting on instinct alone - everything seemed to fall into place. All she could think about was how she needed to give this her best efforts, more than she had ever given a match before. As she took off toward her opponent, her eyes were narrowed in single-minded focus, as she anticipated the moment she would make impact.

Sure enough, Kayla planted into Ryuko, sending the veteran into the ropes behind her and leaving her to bounce off them. Kayla skidded to a stop, but she had little time to catch her breath when Ryuko was coming back toward her, arm raised to return fire. Thinking quickly, Kayla ducked down, hoping that Ryuko's clothesline would slip by overhead as her momentum carried her into the ropes opposite where she had taken off from! If all went well, Ryuko would be bounced back at the Californian - and Kayla kicked up with her leg, looking to nail her as she came near with a big boot!

Things were only getting worse for Ryuko as she swung and missed, bouncing off the ropes to run back at Kayla. Unfortunately former she was caught by the smaller woman and leveled with a big boot! The larger, more powerful Ryuko was being sent down to the mat forcefully like a hapless rookie, laid out on her back. She was really being dominated in this matchup by some woman she had previously defeated, wondering how this was possible as she groaned in pain, struggling to get back to her feet as Kayla was taking it to Ryuko more or less since the start of the matchup.

Kayla was on a roll now. The adrenaline was pumping through her veins, fueling every motion she made, and with each hit she landed on Ryuko she felt even more encouraged. She had the pressure on the veteran, and if she could keep this up, she could succeed! With every blow, she felt like the seemingly impenetrable wall of Ryuko's reputation was crumbling before her eyes, and she was that much more eager to land the next one!

Sure enough, the veteran had run straight into Kayla's outstretched leg, causing her to fall to the mat in a heap. Kayla stood over her, her hands on her hips. While she panted to catch her breath, Kayla only felt more envigorated than ever, and she flashed a confident grin down at Ryuko from above. If things had gone off with such success so far, the Californian was ready to take a more daring move. Some might call it too early to judge - but if Kayla had gotten so many hard-hitting blows off on Ryuko thus far and dodged her attacks in the process, she was confident this would work. Throwing herself down on top of the Thunder Empress, Kayla hooked her leg to go for the pin!
