Marzia Servelli vs. Alizeh Midori - Submission Match

With the current moment forming a brief lull in the action, Marzia had set her sights on trying to catch her breath and preparing herself for her next tangle with Alizeh. In a match like this, any such opportunities were going to be few and far between, and she had to make the most of them. She sucked in a breath, turning her head upward to stare across the ring at her opponent. The soreness in her arms was just beginning to abate, and she swallowed as she began to push herself up. All she had to do now, she thought, was to close in on Alizeh and let her have it.

But there she saw that Alizeh was already upon her - and it was then that Marzia realized her mistake! Going to one knee, while it might have helped her balance her weight, was only giving her opponent the opportunity to hit her with the shining wizard, having provided her with a leg up to slam her knee into her face! And, with Alizeh's quickness, Marzia didn't have any time to defend herself before the blow landed, throwing her off her footing and sending her crashing down on her back. Her hair swept through the air as her head reeled backward, and a cry of pain was ripped from her throat as she plummeted!

Alizeh smiled as she saw the stunned expression on Marzia’s face as she sailed closer and closer. Giving a wink to the Italian woman Alizeh smirked as her knee crashed into Marzia’s face. As the two descended Alizeh formulated a follow up plan of attack to keep this momentum going.

As Marzia’s body finally landed on the mat Alizeh would take the chance to tumble and roll forward till she was on her feet in a crouch. Smirking though Alizeh wouldn’t let up as rather than simply stand she would push up and off with her legs while arching herself backwards launching herself into a standing moonsault aimed right for Marzia’s body

In terms of technical ability, both Marzia and Alizeh were well-matched with one another. The degree to which the two women were struggling to out-compete one another despite their best efforts was proof enough that they were on the same level. It would have to be other factors that would allow one to gain the advantage. And, for the time being, that would be Alizeh's speed. Marzia may have been a methodical thinker in her strategic approaches, but it didn't do any favors when Alizeh closed in on her rapidly to spike her right off her feet with a swift knee to the face!

The Italian girl fell onto her back with a cough, her arms flopping at her sides with all the grace of a dead fish as she stared, stunned, up at the ceiling. But while Marzia was out for now, Alizeh was already on the move, as she managed to transition her own momentum into a roll that got herself back on her feet, and then sprung backwards through the air to land a moonsault right on top of her opponent! Her feet landed on their mark in Marzia's midsection, and if landing on her back wasn't enough to leave Marzia breathless, this wouldn't be doing her any favors either. She bucked up from the ground, sputtering with her eyes wide in shock from the pain alone, before she flopped back down once again.

Alizeh smiled satisfied as she impacted against marzia and sat on her stomach for a moment while she collected her breath. They were evenly matched technicians but luckily it seemed her speed and high flying was giving her the edge in terms of dealing damage. Unfortunately it took way more energy to pull off these moves, hence her taking the moment to rest.

Getting up Alizeh smiled as she patted Marzia’s face with a wink. Stepping around her Alizeh would drag Marzia closer to a corner before starting to climb it up until she made it to the top rope. Smiling behind her she smiled down at Marzia before squatting and leaping backwards attempting to go for a top rope moonsault on Marzia’s body.

Marzia silently thanked her own good fortune that this was a submission match - if pinfalls had been allowed, she didn't know how well she'd be able to handle one, now that she was down and stunned. Thankfully for her, though, they weren't. And it seemed that Alizeh was left just as winded as she was, as the two women laid alongside one another, catching their breath. Marzia was too weary to make a move, but so too, Alizeh wasn't about to respond any time soon. And that gave her the time to refuel in preparation.

She felt Alizeh's palm pat her cheek, and, groggily, Marzia drifted back to consciousness, murmuring softly to herself as she began to raise her head from the mat. Then, though, she noticed that she was moving - and that Alizeh was carrying her! At once, Marzia snapped herself back into the present, her survival instincts kicking in. This was no time for lying around. She had to be alert!

The green-haired girl set Marzia down at the corner before she turned to ascend the rope. However, now that she'd had the time to ready herself, Marzia was prepared. She knew that Alizeh had the edge when it came to high-flying, but that same momentum could be turned against her. Just as Alizeh jumped back off the rope, Marzia attempted to roll away to the center of the ring, hoping to make her rival hit the mat!

As Alizeh soared through the air in her effort to hit the high flying move she smiled believing she may have had the match won. However as she turned midair and saw what was under her Alizeh’s eyes widened as she saw that the Italian woman had moved out of the way from her target area. “Oh shi-“ was all the green haired girl was able to say before her body impacted the mat with a resounding impact. “Guah!” She screamed in pain as she curled up in pain holding her torso as she laid on her knees and fore head dry heaving in pain.

Alizeh might have had one up on Marzia when it came to high-flying ability, but the same moves that put the Italian at a disadvantage could just as easily be turned against her. And that was the case here - as Marzia, thinking quickly, threw herself aside just as Alizeh was about to make impact so that her foe would land on the canvas! She pushed herself back up in time to see Alizeh laying there stunned from the hit she'd taken. After taking a few short seconds to catch her breath, Marzia saw her opening. She readied herself to get back into the fray - now that Alizeh was down, the green-haired girl was well primed for a style more conducive to what she was used to.

Turning toward Alizeh as she braced herself against the mat, Marzia struck out with her legs, repositioning herself so that she would be lying with her head pointed in the same direction as her opponent's. Then she would clamp down, looking to apply a headscissor!

Alizeh gaped and groaned as she layed on the mat in pain from the backlash of her own move. “Damn... it...” Alizeh groaned to herself trying to turn over but finding it difficult to the pain flaring around her body. Unfortunately this inability to move was her downfall as within a few second she felt a pair of slender and muscular legs wrap around her head. “Ung grng?!” Alizeh yelled her voice muffled from the confines of Marzia’s lower body as she kicked the mat and hit Marzia’s thighs wildly trying to get free either by prying the legs apart or causing enough pain as a distraction to make Marzia let go.

Marzia wouldn't give Alizeh a moment to recover, knowing that if she got back up she would go right back into meeting her with her full power. Her submission skills were easily on par with the Italian's own, and provoking her would be foolish even for someone of Marzia's own caliber. But while Alizeh was down, Marzia had the opportunity to put the pressure on her. As she reached out with her legs, grabbing for her head, she sought to soften Alizeh up before she could get back into the game!

The green-haired girl was quick to fight against it, but Marzia was already on the move. Gritting her teeth to steel her nerves, she tried to raise her hips and back off the canvas, putting even more force against Alizeh's head. Soon, though, Alizeh's feet kicked out, catching Marzia in the leg. The Italian girl let out a yelp, her hips bucking off the ground in shock, as her grip began to slip. It wouldn't let go entirely - but it was certainly compromised, enough so that Alizeh would find escaping a considerably easier task.

Alizeh grunted and growled as she struggled wildly in Marzia’s grasp. Luckily though it seemed her wild struggling seemed to have done something as one of her legs managed to hit Marzia. Feeling the grip loosen Alizeh gripped Marzia’s thighs as tightly as possible as she forced them up and off of her.

Taking a big gulp if air Alizeh would roll away as far as she could get from Marzia. Getting onto her knees she would take several more breathes of air as she looked at where Marzia was. Planning her next move Alizeh she couldn’t get excited and lose focus like before. No Marzia was way too good for that and she needed to fight her tactfully. Getting back to her feet Alizeh prepared for the next encounter.
