Peggy McIntyre vs. Megumi Mutoh

Peggy adjusted herself as quickly as she could after sending Megumo crashing to the mat. She was too hurt herself to get the height she needed for a frog splash so she opted instead to jump, sprinting off the top to land a big elbow drop to the torso of the downed Megumi!

Peggy would immediately transition into a pin, hooking Megumi's leg as the referee slid in to place to count.

"ONE!"

[Arjuna]

Megumi's body was still hurting after being thrown down into the mat by Peggy earlier, and thanks to this, she was unable to avoid her opponent's next attack, which was an elbow drop aimed to her torso.

"AHHH!!!"

Megumi cried out in pain as Peggy drove her elbow into her belly, knocking the wind out of her. Right after that, Peggy went to pin her, hooking one of her legs. The referee came over and started counting for the pin.

"TWO!"

Still, Megumi wouldn't allow herself to be defeated this early, and mustering her willpower, she would kick out at two, and the match would continue. Groaning in pain, she would try to push Peggy off of her and roll herself to her side as she tried to recover.

Peggy was sure this would have done a number on Megumi but she forcefully kicked out at 2! Peggy was pushed off and staggered to her feet still in surprise. "How did ya kick out arrogant brat!?" Peggy shouted. She reached out to grab Megumi by the hair slamming her in the face with a hard right punch!

[Arjuna]

Still reeling in pain despite her kicking out, Megumi tried to focus on her recovery. But it seemed that Peggy didn't appreciate her kicking out of the pinfall attempt, and she proceeded to grab onto Megumi's hair, yanking her up before hitting her right in her face, eliciting another cry of pain from the former Wrestle Angel.

"GHUHH!!"

Still, Megumi wouldn't stay still despite being struck like that. In retaliation to the punch, she would also throw a punch of her own, targeting Peggy's belly, looking to leave her breathless by driving her fist into her abs.

"Arrreggghhhhh!" Peggy shouted as she staggered back after Megumi hammered her in the abdomen with a hard punch. Peggy was struggling to keep up all match and she was not about to let Megumi put her down here! Peggy stepped up, trying to smash Megumi in the chest with a forearm smash!

[Arjuna]

Megumi drove her fist into Peggy's abs, sending her opponent staggering back. But when she prepared herself for her next move, she took a forearm smash to her chest, causing her to gasp. Still, she wouldn't let that keep her idle as she would quickly try to retaliate, stepping forward before delivering a toe kick right into her opponent's belly, hoping to make her double over before her.

From there, she would grab onto Peggy's head, shoving it right between her thighs in preparation for a snap powerbomb, in which she would try to lift her up before throw her down into the mat with the move.

The toe kick smashed into Peggy as she dropped to both knees, leaving Peggy stunned and mentally feeling overwhelmed. It seemed like very little she did could do much to keep Megumi down. To make matters worse... and accentuate the point... she was lift up and power bombed seemingly effortlessly by the lighter Megumi! Peggy howled in pain as she was laid out on the mat, her agonized screams echoing throughout the arena as she kicked weakly in pain, her thighs shaking like jello with each kick. Peggy was clearly hurting and doubting herself. Was she going to show everyone that she and her aunt are better than jobbers or was she just wrestling in Japan to lose against the women here over and over the way her aunt did?

[Arjuna]

Megumi successfully picked her opponent up before powerbombing her down onto the mat. "Phew..." Megumi sighed, rolling her shoulders a little after throwing her opponent down with the powerbomb. Considering that her opponent was heavier than her, it sure took a huge amount of strength to pull off. Still, with her opponent down, the Combat Genius planned to keep up with her momentum as she would approach the downed Peggy, walking around her so that she could stand behind her, right above her head.

After that, she would bend down, looking to grab onto her head in order to pull her up. She would make sure that Peggy was standing in front of her before she went to grab onto her hand so that she could send her running towards the ropes with an Irish whip. Right after sending her running with the Irish whip, she would run towards the opposite ropes, planning to use the ropes as a springboard. Getting her feet onto the top rope, she would leap up into the air as soon as Peggy returned back to her, looking to hit her with a springboard crossbody!

Peggy was sluggish as she got up, desperate to prove herself although she felt more and more like she was outmatched. As she was flung into the ropes she bounced back and saw Megumi taking flight! Not good....

Peggy was desperate and drawing on everything she could to try to pull off a basic but hopefully impactful reversal! Peggy gave it her all as she tried to stop herself, reaching out to grab Megumi and counter her attack into a powerslam! It took everything Peggy had as she stayed on top of Megumi going for a desperate pin!

"ONE!"

Megumi launched herself into the air to perform a springboard crossbody, but she didn't expect Peggy to catch her as she was about to hit her, and her eyes widened as she was taken down into the mat with a powerslam! The reversal worked perfectly, and Megumi gasped out in pain as her body hit the canvas.

"UUGHH!!!"

Grimacing in pain, Megumi realized that she was pinned down by Peggy, hearing the referee count for the pin. Not wasting her time, she would kick out after one, breaking the pin before pushing Peggy off of her. Her body was sore from the powerslam, but she would not let herself be left open for her opponent to hit on.
