This was good.

Even as she stumbled back, Millie was satisfied with the way things were going. The stinging in her chest was just testament to how much the two wrestlers were going to be throwing into this, and that she had even managed to land her own blow was just icing on that cake. Staring back at Michiko, the Briton found them in another standoff as they'd both stumbled back from each others' attacks.

It was Michiko that made the first move, charging forwards with a kick to the Briton's jaw. The blow slammed into her jaw, sending a bust of pain shooting through her jaw and stars dancing in front of her eyes. That wasn't going to stop Millie though. The Briton pushed through the pain and disorientation as she used her momentum and tried to move in further towards her opponent, aiming a savage knee blow at the ninja-girl's side!

Getting off the first blow felt good to Michiko, and a smile spread across her face. Even if she was dropping her usual boastful act for the time being, she couldn't help but feel the rush that came with confidence and reassurance that she was doing something good, and that Millie was feeling it. But Millie wasn't out yet - and that was something Michiko could feel too, when the Briton charged at her with a knee for her side, causing her to cough as she stumbled back, clutching her side.

Even winded in this way, Michiko kept her eyes on Millie. She clutched her side and bent forward, but she wasn't giving up yet. With Millie having closed the distance between them with her strike, so too was Michiko going to take advantage of the closer quarters, as she went for an elbow at Millie's chest.

The moment that her knee hit, Millie was already planning her next moves. Eyes locked on the ninja-girl's, Millie stomped her foot back into the canvas the moment that her opponent started to stumble back and pursued, not wanting to give Michiko a moment to recover. Of course, ninja-girl wasn't that easy to beat- not that the Briton minded. Hell, Millie would have been disappointed if all that bluster hadn't been backed up with some skill.

The violet-haired woman struck back by throwing an elbow strike straight at the former-pilot's chest. Acting on instincts, the Briton's hand moved to intercept the blow, blocking the blow from striking its soft target. Smirking a little at that, Millie brought her other arm up and leaped forwards, attempting to throw a leg around Michiko's, her arm at the woman's neck, and her weight at her opponent to knock her flat with a vicious STO!

Michiko made her move, but the ex-pilot proved to be quick on the draw, swiftly countering her elbow as if it came to her as naturally as breathing. The two of them had entered what looked as much like a carefully choreographed dance as it did a wrestling match, as each of the two women went fast and hard, making their moves and parrying their opponents' without ever skipping a beat. Even after Millie had blocked her jab, Michiko was still on it with another move to follow it up, not letting the miss slow down her momentum.

So too would Michiko go to counter Millie's move. She saw the Briton spring towards her, and in a flash she ducked down to let her opponent pass overhead. As she got to her feet, Michiko now found herself behind Millie, having avoided her attack and gotten into a potentially more advantageous position herself. Soon after that, she would perform a spinning kick aimed for Michiko's back.

Millie was surprised. Normally, were she and an opponent to dance through counters to each other like this, she would have been infuriated. She would have expected Michiko, someone who had frustrated her to no end earlier on in the match, to be no exception. But instead, she found herself enjoying it. And the more she enjoyed the match, the better she liked her opponent.

So when Michiko managed to duck under her arm and slip in behind her, kicking her forwards with a strong spinning kick aimed for her back, the former pilot found herself thrilled. She stumbled forwards, awkwardly spinning around to face the ninja girl and flash a small smile at her. "Nice hit." She said simply, eyes shining with a competitive fire.

But that wasn't all of it, of course. She wasn't about to go easy on Michiko now. Quite the opposite, in fact. Without skipping a beat, she launched herself at her opponent, aiming to grab her in an Irish Whip and throw her straight at the nearest corner!

Mille was testing Michiko's skills every step of the way; that was for sure. The two practically moved as a single entity, landing and parrying blows one after another, never daring to give their opponent any leeway. Michiko too, in fact, had grown to relish the competition Millie put up, forcing her to stay on her guard and keep her reflexes sharp. It was really pushing her to find how to best apply her style, bringing substance as well as flash. And she could see how she would be quick to learn from the experiences in this match.

But right now, that wasn't something she was worrying about much. After all, she needed to keep a keen focus on her opponent, because she knew that Millie was going to make her regret it if she slacked.

The Japanese woman felt a satisfying and resounding thud ring out as her foot clocked Millie in the back, and she spun back around to face her with a smile, grinning with confidence. But she didn't have long to take pride in her victory, as Millie wasn't as winded as Michiko might have hoped. Like clockwork she threw herself forward, grabbing hold of Michiko before she even had time to react. And soon the lilac-haired girl was hurled straight for the turnbuckle!

As their dance-like battle continued, Millie could only find herself regretting her early judgement of the violet-haired woman. The Briton could only imagine the kind of match they could have had if both had given it their all right from the get go instead of judging each other. Ideas of a rematch were already swimming through the Briton's head as she started to feel the weight of Michiko's skill press down on her, her muscles aching as sweat ran down her forehead and back.

She was getting tired, and that meant she had to make the most out of what strength she had left in her.

Throwing the Japanese woman at the corner, the Briton followed close behind. Millie charged along, wanting to either trap her opponent in the corneror see what else the woman was made of. Right before Michiko would hit, Millie would lunge forwards with her arm held high, hoping to clothesline the woman straight into the turnbuckle!

Michiko could see the turnbuckle approaching her, as she went hurtling towards the corner, her legs carrying forward practically of their own volition. Though she had been quick on her feet, now her own speed was being turned against her, as she knew it wouldn't be long before she would slam headlong into the post. She shut her eyes, bracing herself for impact - but what Michiko might have imagined would soon prove to be favorable to what she was really in for, as Millie followed behind with a clothesline that hit her in the back! Michiko coughed and gagged, her spine bending backwards against the point of impact while she found herself wedged in the corner. She could feel the presence of Millie's body behind her while she was pressed against the post, leaving her with nowhere to go.

However, there was still another thing she had at her disposal. If Millie wouldn't give her room, she was going to make her own - as she raised a leg to kick it behind her from close range, hoping to pack enough of a punch to get Millie to back off of her!

Now on the offense in full, Millie hardly paused a moment to appreciate the fact that her clothesline had worked and instead kept herself pressed up against her foe, hoping to keep Michiko trapped in the corner just long enough for the Briton to suck in a gasp of air. From here, Millie had hoped to trap her foe in a suplex which would leave the violet-haired woman wounded further, but of course that was assuming that Michiko didn't pull anything else out of her bag of tricks. And Michiko, for her part, hadn't exactly been cooperative throughout the match.

Before the former pilot even realized what had happened, she found herself stumbling back and grunting in pain as a foot smashed back into her leg. Wobbling on her feet, the Briton slumped to the side against the ropes before pushing herself back up, teeth gritted as she gazed over at her foe. That was it, she was going to have to invite the violet-haired woman out for drinks after this.

But that would have to wait until after the match, for now she had to keep the pressure on. So with a shout, Millie found herself charging at her foe's back, a slight stumble in her step, as she sought to wrap her arms around the woman and go through with that suplex she'd had in mind. Of course if she failed it would leave her open to reprisals from her foe. But from how she was feeling now, Millie feared that a battle of endurance was a battle that she'd lose.

Her kick had landed, and Millie could clearly feel it from how she went staggering backwards against the ropes. The sight of such an upset proved satisfying to Michiko, who spared no hesitation in springing back out of the corner to get herself into a more preferable position. The crowd let out a cheer at her comeback, and she was just as happy to celebrate, winking over in Millie's direction with a big grin on her face. If Millie was paying attention, she would surely recognize that Michiko was quite happy with how things were going thus far.

But unfortunately for Michiko, her luck couldn't last forever - and that strike wasn't about to keep Millie down for long. As the lilac-haired girl moved forward, Millie soon got out from where she had landed, swinging in behind Michiko! She hardly had any time to ponder where the major had disappeared to before she got a forceful reminder, as Millie clamped onto her body before swinging her back. In her winded state, Millie might have difficulty lifting her opponent - but either way, Michiko would be feeling it too, as she was thrown onto the mat, causing the canvas to bounce under her impact!
