Marzia Servelli vs. Breanna Laney [D]

Just as Marzia had plotted, her efforts to draw her opponent away from the ropes had ensured she would have the perfect chance to secure a hold, and she clamped down hard on the armbar. Even though it worked first off, though, Marzia wasn't satisfied. She wasn't going to go easy on her hold just because she had Breanna in the right place; she was giving it her all, and she was pulling back as hard as she could, biting her lip to focus her attention as she gave a harder tug at Breanna's wrist, with as much force as she could manage.

Marzia was wrenching down hard, but Breanna knew it was time to take the gloves off cause playtime was over! She knew this rookie wanted the win bad, but she was going to make her work for it. Mustering the strength she had, Breanna got her arm out from under Marzia and managed to stand up withMarzia holding onto her which stuns the Italian girl.

Breanna glares down Marzia as she shakes her no and mouths “You did it now, hun.” Brenna then reverses Marzia into a Wristlock before whipping her into the ropes and hitting a hard Superkick to Marzia’s chin!

Marzia thought she had it. Breanna was hardly making any effort to escape, now that she had been floored in the center of the ring. A feeling started to brew in the pit of her stomach - anticipation. She could sense, within her, that the end was near, and she could reach for it - she could beat a veteran like Breanna and claim the glory for herself.

But then, everything changed. Suddenly, Marzia found herself lifted upwards, and her legs pulled up from under her. She was confused at first - and then she realized her predicament. Breanna got up! Her eyes went wide as she stood there, stunned by the strength and resilience her opponent displayed. "H-How-!?" she said, before suddenly her words were cut off by a jolt of pain when Breanna cranked on her wrist! Marzia let out a squeal, before Breanna whipped her across the ring. She went running, soon impacting the ropes and sending her bouncing back.

And Marzia's troubles were only beginning, since the next thing she knew, Breanna followed on the momentum by striking out with a kick straight into her chin! The impact was so strong, it sent Marzia toppling off her feet, and she fell backwards through the air before slamming onto her back, dazed.

Breanna smirk as she covered Marzia and hooked her right leg and pinned her shoulders down. The ref girl dropped to her knees and went for the count slapping the mat once.

“ONE!”

Marzia's vision was swimming, and she was seeing stars as she looked up to see Breanna holding her down from above. Her chest rose and fell with the short breaths she took, trying to gain her bearings. Her jaw was still sore, and numb from the blow she had taken.

"TWO!"

But Marzia knew it couldn't end here. She wouldn't dare let it. She had given an admirable effort against Breanna thus far - she was sure she could continue that streak! She wouldn't hand the match off to her when she still had a fighting chance!

"Th-NO!"

There, at the last second, Marzia managed to kick out of the pin! Slowly, and on wobbly legs, the girl rose. Her head was pounding, and she knew she didn't have too much left in her. But she was still going to give it her best effort, and she wouldn't go down without a fight. She'd press on until she couldn't any longer.

Breanna was glaring down Marzia as she nearly had this match put away, but Breanna suddenly smiled and looked down Marzia. She held onto Marzia to hold her steady and made sure Marzia could stand straight.

“Not bad, kid. Not bad at all.” Breanna commented as she backed away.

Marzia saw that even as she got up, Breanna was holding on to her. She gulped, nervous at the thought that her opponent still had a handhold on her, and if she wanted to, she surely could've done anything to Marzia that she wanted to. Fortunately for the Italian, though, she didn't. She seemed genuinely concerned for Marzia and making sure she was okay.

Slowly, Marzia caught her breath, nodding to Breanna as she complimented her efforts. "T-Thank you," she said, panting. Breanna began to back away, and this time, Marzia thought, she had her chance. Suddenly she barreled in closer, lifting her fists to go and swing a jab straight at her stomach.

Breanna was hit in the stomach as she held her gut area. Breanna would then retaliate with a few punches of her to Marzia’s head.

Marzia's punch landed, and she felt the warmth of Breanna's skin as her knuckles sunk against her abdomen with a thud. Marzia thought she could press this further, getting ready to swing another punch. Her breaths came faster, and she felt her excitement starting to build in her. She could do this, she told herself!

But Breanna fought back, and her punch came in and hit Marzia in the head. "Ow-!" the Italian said, starting to stumble backwards as she raised a hand to try and protect herself. But then came another punch...and another! Marzia could hardly keep up with the punishment she was taking, and soon her legs gave out from under her. She fell to her knees, still trying to guard herself from the assault.

Breanna brought Marzia back up and whipped her into the corner. She then backed up into her opposing corner then took a running start doing a frontflip into a Forearm Smash into Marzia in the corner hitting her signature, Bucking Briallance!

Marzia felt limp in Breanna’s arms as Breanna gets her head into front facelock and pointing a finger at the sky.
