Miranda vs Monoka

Mira flew high and did the move as perfect as she could. She heard the crowd pick up with her jump as her amazing figure was on display in the air and looking to come down on Monaka and flatten her like a pancake. Sadly while her form was perfect her aim and timing were not, and instead of laning on her opponent she crashed and burned on the mat.

"Aggh!" Mira hit the mat front first bouncing up for a second as she rolled back and laid there stunned completely by the fact that Monaka got out of the way. Her hands went to her aching chest and face as she laid there practically stunned and unable to process what to do next...it was not a good feeling at all.

If it's not due to Monaka herself still hurting, she might have taunted Miranda over her failure to hit her with the moonsault. But here she was, still groaning after rolling her way out of her opponent's way to avoid the attack. Still, seeing Miranda taking damage from her miss, Monaka couldn't help but grin a bit, feeling vindicated after everything that she had taken from the dancer earlier.

"Rrgghh..." Groaning, Monaka would slowly push herself up, getting back up on her feet, though her body was still hurting from everything that she had taken from Miranda earlier. This time, she wanted to make her opponent pay for everything she did, and she would start by coming over to Miranda to give her a kick to her side. Her movement might be sluggish, but kicking someone who was down wouldn't require much effort.

Well that sucked...Mira knew the risk of going high but the rewards usually made it worth it...which also meant the punishments sucked when they didnt pay off. And this was definitely something that didnt pay off. Still on her front as she tried to recover Mira slowly tried to shake the cobwebs as she moved to get back up before she was suddenly kicked in the side before she could do so.

"Aggghhk!" Miranda groaned as she was knocked to her side and fell to her back. Holding her hurting side Mira laid there coughing as she tried to deal with the pain. Thing seemed to be slowly turning around for both of them.

After kicking Miranda at her side, Monaka was thinking of pressing on, as she would deliver another kick to her side just to hurt her even more. After being beaten like a ragdoll by the dancer, it's about time Monaka make the girl pay for it as she would return the favor. Right after kicking Miranda at her side again, Monaka would bend down, grabbing her opponent by her head to pull her up.

"It's my turn now!!" Monaka exclaimed as she would then try to deliver a slap across Miranda's face, followed by another slap, this time backhanded. She wanted to leave her opponent rattled with those slaps in preparation for her next move.

"Aggh!" Mira screamed as she took another kick to her side with Monaka on the attack once more and pretty happy about that fact. She wasnt sure what the girl was planning but as she was sat up by the girl pulling her hair Monaka made it clear that were intentions were less then good as she slapped her across the face!

"Haagh! Ahhh!"Mira's head was turned from side to side as she was slapped twice, once normally and the other being a backhand. Her hands went to her face as she rubbed her sore cheeks not focused on her opponent at the moment.

Feeling satisfied after slapping Miranda twice, Monaka would then proceed to grab her head, looking to put her in a front headlock, securing her hold around her head, making the girl bend over. Thinking that Miranda was still reeling thanks to the slaps, Monaka would then drop back, bringing Miranda with her as she would drive her head first into the canvas with a DDT!

Thinking the impact should be enough to leave her stunned for a while, Monaka planned to roll Miranda over onto her back so that she could go for the cover, putting herself on top of her as she would grab one of her legs for a pinfall attempt.

While dealing the fact that Monaka just slapped the taste out of her mouth, she was abruptly pulled down and in a headlock. Bringing her down nder her opponents shoulder as she brought her hands to the girls own and tried to break free. It didnt work and before she could do anything to stop her Monaka added to her troubles by dropping her down headfirst and flooring her with a DDT.

"Tcch!" Mira's head hit the floor and she flopped down with the rest of her letting Monaka get control as she pushed her to her back and held her down for a pin. Mira at the moment couldn't respond, too stunned by the subsequent failure of her moonsault and attacks following it to spring to life now.

"ONE!"

So far, things were going well for Monaka. She kept Miranda under her in the pinfall attempt as the referee counted up to one. She needed to keep her down there for three counts to be declared the winner of this match, thus qualifying her to fight in the lightweight championship tournament. Miranda would be the first one to be felled in her path towards greatness.

"TWO!"

Just one more, and victory would be hers. She knew that her victory was imminent once the referee finally counted up to three.

Miranda was hurt for sure but now wasnt the time to let the mess up get to her, she had been doing well up to this point and if she was beaten like this she wouldnt be able to live it down. Hurt but still with a lot left to give Miranda grabbed at Monaka and tried to push her off her to try and breakup the count as the ref was coming down for the third and final one..keeping the match alive.

Mira would then roll away from Monaka. Looking to get the necessary space to try and gt back to her feet without risk of Monaka trying to knock her right back down again. If needed she would try and use the ropes to help her up, knowing the alternative was to try on her own and fail and give the fellow Lightweight champion contender show her up.

Monaka grunted when Miranda kicked out and then rolled away from her. Feeling unhappy that her opponent wasn't defeated yet, she got back up and put her focus back on the match. Seeing Miranda distancing herself from her, she knew that she was trying to recover from all the damages taken, and Monaka would have none of that, as she planned to keep up with her momentum. So, she would get closer to her, covering the distance between the two of them to catch up to Miranda.

"Heh... you should give up now... it's clear who's gonna win this..." Monaka taunted as she got closer to Miranda. Then, once she stood over her, Monaka would bend down, grabbing Miranda to pull her up. She was planning that once she managed to bring Miranda up on her feet, she would try to deliver forearm smashes right onto her chest to stun her even more in preparation for her next big attack.
