Megumi Mutoh vs. Toshimi Minami - The Clash of Angels

Megumi was about to reach the ropes when Toshimi suddenly pulled her away from them, causing her to wail out in frustration. "N-nooo!!!" The ropes were getting farther and farther from her reach, and Toshimi wasn't even done yet with her as she transition the hold into something more deadly and dangerous.

After pulling Megumi away from the ropes, Toshimi then subjected her into some kind of STF, though the application of pressure in this hold was far more effective than the usual STF. Megumi's eyes widened as she was put in this hold, and she let out a scream of pain when Toshimi applied pressure in the hold. "Aaahhhhhh!!! Aaaahhhhhhh!!!" Megumi was definitely in trouble at this point, and thinking clearly seemed to be a very arduous task.

Toshimi hadn't planned on going easy on Megumi Mutoh and she was certainly showing that right now as she pulled the red clad fighter away from the ropes and towards the center of the ring again, this time locking in her dreaded submission finisher. Sure it was still fairly early to say that Megumi was going to be defeated by the hold.

Yet the true key was to wear her down, and Toshimi Minami had no better hold to break her tough foe down than the Neo Sazan Cross-lock! The deadly STF Crossface style hold. She bent back on Megumi and wrenched up that neck of the Combat Genius. " Fall into slumber..." Toshimi let out in a soft and clam tone as she tightened her hold.

Megumi was having trouble enduring the hold, and she knew that she might have to tap out if this continued, but she would continue struggling, hoping to escape this hold and get herself some time to recover. Still, the powerful hold was getting too much for Megumi to handle, and desperate time called for desperate measure.

In doing so, Megumi would bring one of her hands up, hoping to smash her fist right into the side of Toshimi's head, hoping that this would force the Venus of Submission to free her from the hold. It was far from elegant, but at this point, the Combat Genius was desperate to escape.

[Devastated]

Toshimi Minami would smile just a little as she tightened her hold a bit further, putting more of a strain on the Combat Genius as she could. She had to put this woman to her very limits and beyond, knowing that Megumi wasn't one to easily go down without a fight. She should have expected something to come her way at any moment, and it seemed as if that was the case when Megumi Mutoh decided to throw a punch to the side of Toshimi's head.

Knocking her for a loop for but a moment, a bit dazed from the strike, it would give a window for Megumi to maybe escape, but Toshimi would also quite quickly start to reaffirm her Sazan Cross Lock as soon as she could and continue to torture Megumi, if the Combat Genius missed that brief window that her punch had made.

Megumi managed to hit Toshimi at her head, and the brief opening was all she needed in her attempt to escape. She would try to pull herself out, but Toshimi was too quick in her recovery, and before she could even free herself, she ended up being trapped in the hold again, much to her consternation.

"Aaaghhh!! Ngghhhhhh... raaahhhh!!" Not wanting to keep herself trapped there for long, Megumi let out a loud, animalistic roar as she would attempt to drag herself out of the hold. She knew that she could potentially injure herself with her actions, but at this point, nothing seemed more important than breaking free from the hold that Toshimi was subjecting her to.

Managing to lock her hold right back in...even though it wasn't perfect she had Megumi Mutoh trapped once more. It looked as if the brunette wasn't going to stop fighting their way out of the hold as they would roar and pull forward. Causing the raven haired woman to quickly try and tighten the hold. Yet...it seemed as if Megumi was intent on breaking free no matter what. Pulling back for as long as she could, though Megumi soon managed to slip her way out of the hold.

The Venus of Submission would have to abandon this hold, rolling away from Megumi as she would get up towards her feet and rise up in silence. Narrowing her gaze a bit to check on Megumi, certain that her hold had done a fair bit of damage...if she could lock it in once more then the match might just be over. Though that would have to wait for a bit.

Finally, with great effort, Megumi managed to escape the hold, but she ended up being exhausted, gasping out in pain as she struggled to push herself up. Her body wasn't built for long endurance, and she would need an ample time to recover from it. "Nnnghhhh..." Groaning, she would then roll over onto her hands and knees, her hair cascading down onto the mat as she breathed harshly, trying to regain her strength in order to fight her fellow Angel back.

"Guuhhhh... I-I'm not done yet..." Megumi said with labored breath as she would then try to get back up onto her feet, her hair matted against her sweaty forehead. She looked straight at Toshimi with defiance clear in her eyes. She was not going to submit to the Venus of Submission, at least not when she still had some fight left in her.

Toshimi Minami couldn't help but find Megumi's efforts to both be impressive and rather foolish. As she would watch the woman breath harshly and doing her best to regain her strength, She had managed to free herself but just listening to Megumi ti was clear that she was rather spent after escaping her hold. Though her spirit was still as strong as ever.

The Venus of Submission would move forward and look on at Megumi Mutoh with cold eyes. She'd raise her hands up and get ready to continue their fight, moving in as she would make it seem as if she was going for a lock up. Only to duck in low instead and try and grab those legs of Megumi's, trying to throw her down onto her bak and quickly wrap her legs around Megumi's dominant limb, before trying to tuck it under her armpit and put a bend to it, aiming to lock in a nasty kneebar!

Megumi glared defiantly at the Venus of Submission before her, planning to keep going despite the fact that her fellow Angel was simply better than her as a wrestler. Still, Megumi planned to win this, and she needed to defeat Toshimi no matter what. Preparing herself, the Combat Genius took a stance as she looked at Toshimi who was also doing the same before the two of them charged towards each other almost at the same time.

But as she got closer, she realized what Toshimi was planning, and she almost panicked when her opponent went low, as if trying to yank her legs from under her. But this time, she refused to let her opponent have her way with her as her back was about to hit the canvas before she closed her legs together, looking to bring her feet onto the stomach of her opponent before attempting to counter Toshimi's move with a monkey flip! Hopefully, she was able to stop her opponent's momentum, thus turning the table.

[Devastated]

Toshmi was about to come in and start tearing Megumi Mutoh apart with more complex and deadly holds, looking to get her back down onto her back again so she could start to lock her into even more dangerous holds. As much spunk as Megumi had and as much heart that she threw into the ring, she was sure that she could keep her down with her superior wrestling ability.

Though that wasn't to say that there was a hint of joy in fighting someone so determined and full of grit as Megumi Mutoh. She would tackle her down, but it looked as if Megumi had already seen through her attack, as she came up with a plan to counteract it! As she was tackling Megumi down, the brunette used that against the Venus of Submission as she brought her feet up into the abs of the Iron Maiden and tossed her over head! Making Toshimi Minami crash back first onto the canvas with a thud! " Gaah!" the cold woman released as her back hit the canvas, the monkey flip taking her by surprise.
