Re: Barbaric Street Fight: Oscar Orelash vs. Drake Benton
Drake’s distraction cost him dearly. Unaware of Oscar coming up behind him, the Colossus was caught by surprise as Oscar wrapped his arms around Drake’s torso and flung him backwards. Drake managed to tuck his head to prevent a knockout blow, but Oscar successfully executed a bridging suplex. Holding Drake in a pin, the ref began to count. The crowd roared.
ONE!
TWO!
TH-NOOOOOOO
Drake just barely kicked out. He lay on the ground nursing his back and neck.

Re: Barbaric Street Fight: Oscar Orelash vs. Drake Benton
Oscar was forced to release Drake as his rival kicked out of the hold, the Barbarian Prince rolling to the side and letting out a very annoyed huff as victory slipped just out of his grasp. Oscar took a second to catch his breath before trying to get back onto his feet- still feeling some pins and needles in his body from the punishment he's taken so far into the match.

Re: Barbaric Street Fight: Oscar Orelash vs. Drake Benton
The two men had each taken a lot of punishment and were slowly recovering during an improper break in the match. Oscar had seemingly multiclassed in rogue. After several disastrous instances of Oscar dodging Drake’s attacks, Drake knew he needed to change his approach. Drake trundled over to his trash can of weapons and pulled out probably the most dangerous weapon he had in there: a steel chain!
Drake turned around towards Oscar and began swinging the steel chain in a wide arc like a lasso. He internally cringed as the steel chain smashed through his truck’s windshield. But the AOE of the swinging chain would hopefully nullify Oscar’s dodging as Drake would try whipping Oscar’s torso with the steel chain!

Re: Barbaric Street Fight: Oscar Orelash vs. Drake Benton
As Oscar forced himself up, his head snapped over to zdrake- the sound of the windshield shattering giving alerting the Barbarian Prince before his eyes bugged out at the sight of the chain whip being swung around. Oscar scrambled to think of something to do and remembered that he himself has weapons of his own! Quickly yoinking the kendo stick he stashed in his own trash, Oscar made a quick attempt to block the chain whip by trying to get it to wrap around his weapon!

Re: Barbaric Street Fight: Oscar Orelash vs. Drake Benton
Oscar’s quick thinking saved him as he brought up his kendo stick to block the steel chain. In what would become the most iconic action shot the crew would capture, the steel chain wrapped around the kendo stick and the two men were engaged, muscles straining, in a standoff fit for an epic fantasy book cover. Seeing his chain wrapped around Oscar’s kendo stick, Drake began slowly wrapping his hand with the chain. He then made to yank the chain back towards him. At best, he would disarm Oscar of his kendo stick. At a minimum, Drake would try to get Oscar to lose his footing and stumble towards him.

Re: Barbaric Street Fight: Oscar Orelash vs. Drake Benton
Oscar's muscles bulged as he and Drake would engage in an utterly badass looking tug of war- like something right out of a gladiator movie- as both fighters fought for the ground they were standing on. Feeling Drake tugging and yanking harder on the chain, Oscar would attempt to give what his rival wanted and more as when Drake attempted to yank the kendo stick out of his hands; Oscar would LUNGE toward Drake and attempt to jab the heck out of him- looking to drive the tip of the kendo stick into Drake's abs!

Re: Barbaric Street Fight: Oscar Orelash vs. Drake Benton
In one moment, Oscar and Drake went from gladiator struggle to full on superhero-style clash. Both men seemed to have the same idea. As Oscar leapt at Drake, Drake charged Oscar. Both men using the momentum of their pulling to launch at each other. Drake swung his steel chain-wrapped fist at Oscar’s face at the same time Oscar thrust his Kendo stick into Drake’s solar plexus. The the blows landed and then the two men collided at exactly the same time. Both Oscar and Drake cried out in pain and crumpled to the ground, laying there starfished. People watching on tv jumped out of seats. The arena and the parking lot spectators chanted,
HOLY SHIT!! HOLY SHIT!! HOLY SHIT!!”
HOLY SHIT!! HOLY SHIT!! HOLY SHIT!!”

Re: Barbaric Street Fight: Oscar Orelash vs. Drake Benton
While Oscar's aim was true with the kendo stick jabbing Drake in his solar plexus, it would prove to be a costly move on the Barbarian Prince's half. As Oscar struck with his weapon, Drake would land a vicious punch to Oscar's cheek with a fist wrapped in the steel chain. For a moment, Oscar thought the lights turned out in the parking area as he collapsed in a heap on the ground- barely moving as he released the kendo stick. Seconds after the blow to his cheek, discoloration already started to form on the spot Oscar was punched in- his freckled flesh bruising rather quickly in a nice shade of purple and black.

Re: Barbaric Street Fight: Oscar Orelash vs. Drake Benton
The two lay there heaving and trying to muster the strength to get up.
“Hey Oscar”
*tap tap*
”Hey Oscar”
*heaving*
“Okay you can handle yourself in a fight. Now *heaves* let’s finish this.”
Drake rolled over and got up to his knees. He then shuffled over to Oscar and grabbed him by the hair. The Colossus delivered a couple steel chain-wrapped hammerfist blows to Oscar’s back to get him set up. With Oscar’s back arched from the blows, Drake would try to wrap the steel chain around Oscar’s neck to choke him out!

Re: Barbaric Street Fight: Oscar Orelash vs. Drake Benton
Oscar groaned as Drake tapped him to check on his state, showing that he wasn't completely out of the fight yet. While Oscar was in a complete daze, he was still conscious enough to hear Drake say... something actually respectful as the Colossus acknowledged how Oscar held up in the fight. Unfortunately, Oscar didn't have a lot of time to process it as Drake grabbed a fistful of his crimson locks and hammered his chain-wrapped fists into Oscar’s already bruised spine- the pain shocking him awake as Oscar screamed out in pain. The next thing Oscar knew, Drake snared the chain around Oscar's neck and started to strangle him- making Oscar gag and cough as his fingers dug desperately at the chains for freedom. As dark spots started forming in his eyesight, Oscar started to think...
... Oscar thought how ironic it was that chains were being used to tire him out, reflecting on how this whole debacle with Drake had started in the first place. Oscar lost badly to Drake, being hospitalized after their match and costing him a future graduation match. Things followed up with Drake beating Oscar's girlfriend, Katrina Kelly, in a match when she tried to avenge her love- ultimately ending with one of his closest friends, Rylie Marshall, being the one to shut Drake down when he came for her LAWLESS belt. Between that and even people like Honie, Melony, and Antonia giving Drake a well-deserved smother storm when Draje crashed Oscar's graduation party, Oscar had always felt blessed to have so many friends in LAW who supported him and came to his aid when the going got tough... but even Oscar had to admit Drake was right about one thing.
What should have been a proper feud between Oscar and Drake turned into Oscar being shielded by his friends and even management when he was sent away to Leviathan. Oscar was always grateful for the help, but it never sat right with him how the people he cared about had to suffer and risk so much for what should've been his score to settle. Even when he was able to, Oscar simply just... didn't go for it. He hesitated. He feared it would just lead to those he cared about getting hurt once again because of the unique circumstances behind Drake's attacks- how some unknown person wanted to see Oscar and all he cared about suffer. The truth was, Oscar was scared- and that fear acted as his own set of chains that held him down.
When the ref would check to see if Oscar was still conscious, the Barbarian Prince responded by grabbing Drake's wrist with an iron death grip. In his mind, Oscar thought about what would likely happen if he lost this fight- predicting that it would start the same thing that happened when he first lost to Drake. His loved ones get fired up, go after Drake again, and win or lose, they were going to suffer. Suffer because Oscar once again, couldn't settle his own scores. No- that was unacceptable. Oscar refused to let that happen again. He was different than last time. He wasn't a young lion anymore. He was a CHAMPION, damnit! It was time to start acting like one.
It was time to break his chains.
Oscar's eyes shot open and he let out a war scream- loud enough to make the audio setups nearby peak as he lifted Drake up off the ground and ran backwards- looking to drive Drake directly into his trucks door with enough force to either leave another dent... or completely crumble it off its hinges!
