Megumi Mutoh vs. Hikaru Sawazaki

Hikaru cranked as hard as she could but strike after strike hit her already throbbing head, doing exponentially more damage than it would have normally done! With a scream she let go, rolling away from Megumi as she cradled her head in her arms, struggling to get up to her feet. Hikaru swayed back and forth as she rose, looking back at Megumi who was likely to already be rising up to her feet as well.

She couldn't give up or all was lost. The spunky woman did her best to step towards Megumi and swing her leg out, trying to hammer her opponent in the abdomen with a swift mid-kick! Unfortunately for Hikaru she had given Megumi time to recover, and that was something she could have ill afforded to do!

After landing enough punches right into Hikaru's head, Megumi was finally released from the STF, and she groaned as she tried to push herself up. Shaking her head to ease the pain, she would then look at Hikaru, who went to deliver a kick aimed at her abdomen. Fortunately for Megumi, she managed to regain her bearing in time, and she would catch the incoming kick, letting out a grunt as the sole of Hikaru's boot hitting her midsection. Still, with her catching the foot, she managed to lessen the force behind the kick.

Hooking her other arm around Hikaru's leg, Megumi would let out a yell as she would try to throw her down with a dragon screw, one of her signature moves! "Raaaahhhh!!!" She would try lifting Hikaru up by her leg before turning around and slamming the girl down back first.

Hikaru connected, but not in the way she had hoped. She shook her head for a second before being sent down hard to the mat! She landed on her back and the back of her head, cringing as her arms cradled her head once more. Hikaru was once again lai out on the mat at Megumi's feet and wide open for more follow up by the debuting wrestler!

This was hardly a good place to be in against a woman like Megumi, but Hikaru had gotten herself out of nasty spots before... she could do it again or so she hoped!

Seeing that Hikaru was on the mat thanks to her dragon screw earlier, Megumi decided to go for a submission hold, going down as her opponent was lying on her back. First, she would grab both Hikaru's legs before she cross them with each other, forming a figure four on her legs. After doing so, she would apply pressure to Hikaru's knee, looking to at least weaken her legs if she didn't tap out from this submission hold.

"Just give up!" Megumi told Hikaru, applying more pressure in the figure four leglock on her, jerking at her opponent's legs as she did so. She wasn't particularly looking for a submission from this, but if she could win from this hold, it would be nice.

Hikaru shrieked in pain as she thrashed about with the very painful hold locked in! Her screams echoed throughout the arena as she reached back for the ropes just short of them.

Instead of trying to counter, Hikaru began to claw feverishly at the mat, desperate to pull them two of them close to the ropes. She groaned and let out another loud shout as the pain continued to mount, drawing closer to the ropes. At the last second ahe lunged back, gripping the bottom rope for dear life as the referee took notice, calling for Megumi to release the hold.

Megumi kept applying pressure in the figure four leglock, making it as painful as possible for Hikaru. But her opponent was desperate for an escape from this hold and moved towards the ropes. Eventually, she finally reached the ropes, and the referee told Megumi to release the hold. Sighing, Megumi relinquished the hold and got back up on her feet.

Stepping back, Megumi would wait for Hikaru to get up as well, giving her an opportunity to recover. But as soon as Hikaru left the ropes, Megumi would try to seize her chance to come closer towards her, grabbing her by her head so that she could hit her right at the side of her face with a forearm smash!

Hikaru stood up and her head whipped back as the forearm smash hammered her! She loud out a loud yell and stumbled back, looking limp on her feet as she staggered about. Shaking her head she tried to lunge forward, sending a forearm smash back into Megumi's chest to retaliate! Admittedly she was dazed and her return forearm smash didn't have the power it surely had earlier in the match! Still, Hikaru wasn't going to just take a hit she had to fight back, even if it wasn't as effective as it once would have been.

[Arjuna]

"Guh!" Megumi grunted when she took the forearm smash into her chest, but the blow wasn't devastating, and she immediately regained her bearing seconds after taking the hit. Looking straight at Hikaru, Megumi would advance forward as she would launch a toe kick right into her midsection, trying to make her opponent double over so that she could grab her head to be tucked between her sweaty thighs.

From there, Megumi would grab Hikaru by her midsection before lifting her up, releasing her head from her thighs so that she could put her on her shoulder. She was planning to send her crashing down into the canvas with a sitout powerbomb, with her immediately taking a situout position upon sending Hikaru back first into the mat, in which the referee would come over to start counting if she was successful in executing the move.

The powerbomb took the fight right out of Hikaru! She cried out in agony, laying motionless as the count began!

"ONE!"

She moaned and kicked weakly, trying to squirm her way out as she was still stuck by Megumi!

"TWO!"

She let out a cry as she thrust again, trying f to flail and thrust her weakly flopping limbs in motion to free herself! "Noooooooo!"

"THREE!"

The heavy kick, broken nose and powerbomb were just too much for Hikaru to overcome as she stopped resisting, moaning weakly as she was let out of the pin, flopping to the side and falling to the mat in defeat.

"THREE!"

Megumi let out a sigh of relief as the ref reached the final count, cementing her victory over her opponent. The bell was called, making the result of the match official. Letting go of Hikaru, Megumi got up to her feet as she would let the referee raise her arm, declaring her the victor in the match. She managed to get a win in her debut match, which was good.

Right after that, she looked at Hikaru. "Hey, is your nose okay?" She asked. She did feel bad for making it bleed with her move before, and she hoped it wasn't serious. "Come on, gimme your hand," she said as she would offer Hikaru a hand. While she might be a loner most of her time, she was still respectful enough to her opponents, especially to those who had given her a good fight.
