Hurricanes and Tigresses: Makie Akamatsu vs Tina Armstrong

"Ggggah...hhhaaaagh..." It was hurting for Makie to breathe now, after the way that Tina had just relentlessly used her midsection for target practice. It was all Makie could do to stay sitting upright, both arms cradling her hurting stomach as she slumped against the corner post.

She gasped as Tina suddenly yanked her hair, her scalp burning as she was pulled, shaking, up to her feet. The next thing she knew, one of Tina's powerful arms closed around her head, clamping her tightly against the Tigress' abs, while the other yanked on her outfit, causing her to gasp slightly as her leotard wedgied itself slightly between her legs. She felt a dizzying rush of blood to her head as she was lifted upside down, and braced herself, thinking she was about to crash back-first into the mat.

Instead, Tine brought her slamming down, midsection first, against the turnbuckle! "AUUUUUGH!" she gagged as the turnbuckle practically speared into her midsection, causing her whole body to curve down against it. Unless Tina held her upright, Makie would topple off of the turnbuckle and crashed down onto her back, breathing hard and moaning in pain.

Tina saw Makie flop down to the canvas and decided to go for a pin. She laid across Makie's chest and hooked a leg tight attempting to put away the energetic young grappler right here and now! The official saw this and slid in to place to begin the count.

"ONE!"

Tina held her breath pressing down. She had been working on changing things up a bit and using the environment around her to the fullest. She had really been trying to just flat out improve so she would be seen as a middleweight terror once more as she had been during her title reign.

Makie's chest rose and fell as she lay on her back, breathing hoarsely after having had her midsection so relentlessly targeted by Tina. The Tigress was proving to be just as ferocious as her namesake, absolutely hammering Makie and not leaving her any room to fight back. Makie knew she had to get back on her feet and turn this around somehow...easier said than done with her midsection in as much pain as it was.

She suddenly felt Tina's powerful body lie across hers, hooking one of her legs. Blushing slightly, Makie groaned as she heard and felt the pinfall being counted down next to her.

"TW--"

With a sudden cry, Makie twisted her body sharply, narrowly getting a shoulder up. She was hurting, but she wasn't done yet!

Makie kicked out with some force, slightly catching Tina off guard. The tigress was ready however, and she was not going to let up. She pulled Makie up and stood behind her wrapping her arms up to put Makie in a full nelson hold! Tina locked it in and lift Makie's feet just off the mat so she could swing her around in the hold for a few seconds. Tina wrenched down then stopped arching back and transitioning into a release dragon suplex to send Makei crashing to the canvas again! Tina was not holding back and unleashing some of her better moves against this woman wary of Makie going on a run.

Makie barely managed to kick out, breathing hard and groaning as she managed to prevent a pinfall...for now. No sooner had she kicked out, however, then Tina was already grabbing her, hoisting her shakily to her feet and then locking her arms in a full nelson. Gasping, Makie tried to struggle free...just before her world went upside-down, and she went slamming hard into the mat! Stars exploded across Makie's vision, and she toppled onto her front, lying facedown and unmoving on the mat as, around her, the crowd went wild.

Makie went down in a heap and Tina pounced once more, laying across her chest and trying to hook both legs this time! The tigress felt like that suplex connected very well and she was pressing Makie down to the mat as hard as she could wondering if this was it. The official slid in to place to begin the count while Tina was pressing Makie to the canvas.

"ONE!"

Was this it? Was Makie done?

The crowd was tense as they watched Tina cover Makie for the pinfall. So far, the Tigress had just delivered an impressive amount of punishment to her smaller opponent. Makie, for her part, was barely moving. Could this be it? Could Makie be done after a valiant, but ultimately outmatched effort?

"TWO! THR--"

With a loud yell, Makie suddenly arched upward underneath Tina, getting a shoulder up as she twisted sharply. The audience burst into cheers and applause at this, impressed at Makie's fighting spirit.

Tina was surprised as Makie kicked out again and as she stood up she was pulling Makie up by the arm as well. Tina smiled and grit her teeth as she stepped towards the ropes and sent Makie running. Tina watched her bounce off the ropes and ran at her in turn, looking to jump up and trying to leap at Makie flying at her with a cross body block! Tina was hoping to keep on taking it to the energetic wrestler, confident that she was close to putting the woman down for three.

Makie was still groaning in pain as Tina pulled her up, her limbs buckling and threatening to collapse underneath her as she was pulled shakily up to her feet. She seemed barely able to resist as Tina whipped her across the ring, sending her practically stumbling into the ropes.

Except, Makie's well trained instincts kicked in at that moment, and she instantly wrapped her arms around the rope to keep from rebounding back. Breathing hard, she looked up to see Tina running at her, leaping up in a cross body block! Hurting though she was, Makie still grimaced and tried to kick both of her boots up, hoping to nail Tina hard in the midsection while she was still in midair!

Tina flew and connected with Makie but not in the way she had hoped! She groaned as the wind was knocked clear out of her, leaving the tigress to land on the canvas in a writhing heap! She gasped for air, wheezing as she rolled to her side cradling her mid-section in her arms! Makie had brought the momentum of Tina to a grinding halt and had created a golden window of opportunity for herself as the tigress was laying on the canvas stunned unable to get up!
