Geun Haru vs. "Tigress" Tina Armstrong

The howling Tina was in a bad spot, still unable to free herself she felt Geun roll her over. This position hurt even worse as Tina was groaning. One arm was let free and Tina tried to push and roll to the side, hoping to prevent whatever Geun was trying to do from happening! Her free arm and shoulder hurt.... the one still held was even worse off. Even if Tina did free herself the most she could do was roll away and primarily use her legs to try to get back up off the mat.

Trying to switch from the hold she had to the new one was not a perfect plan. Her leg position would be compromised and have less stability but she hoped Tina would be too distracted to use that against her. She was not. Rolling over, she made Geun lose balance and fall back, letting go of the arm as she did and allowing the former champion to get away and back up. Geun would be quick to follow and not wanting to fall behind again, charge with a series of punches to Tina's head and a roundhouse kick to her side.

Tina was back to her feet but Geun was on top of her! Tina tried blocking and swinging back but she was caught off guard! The staggering, struggling tigress was then sent crashing to the mat by the roundhouse kick laid out and groaning as she stared up at the arena lights in pain. She could barely shake her head and she meekly kicked the mat a couple times but that was about it.

When Geun's kick landed on target, she took a step back, seeing Tina fall, she would let her guard down, lay her hands on her knees and take a few deep breaths. Even with the tigress on the floor, she could hardly afford that break but her body needed it and would not take no for an answer. Still, there were more efficient ways to rest while getting somewhere in this fight and soon enough Geun would get on top of the former champion and attempt to go for a pin seeing her weakened condition.

Tina was on the mat laid out for a moment before Geun went for the pin! She groaned and struggled underneath as she failed to kick out.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

Tina arched her back and thrust a shoulder up as she turned to the side and shook her head. "Did you take a break then think you could pin me?" Tina said, sounding a bit insulted. If Geun thought she could stop mid-match and still win she was mistaken, but Tina had to get up and actually make her pay to make good on her claim.

Only two, still it was good given the circumstances. Geun would get to her knees and chuckle at the question. "You think I chose to stop?" She asked, hoping her heavy breathing would be evidence enough to the contrary. Even getting to this point was a herculean effort for Geun and to think that Tna would take her stopping as an insult was almost comical to her, especially knowing herself, she would never just take a break in a fight if she could help it. Still, Tina being on the floor still gave more time to breath and Geun would slowly rise to her feet, giving her opponent time to do the same.

Tina got back up and saw Geun rising as well. Tina would charge right in not wanting to waste time. She was going to show Geun how intense she could be. Tina was going to run in looking to swing with a clothesline! If it connected that was ideal, but if Tina missed she would just keep running to the ropes bouncing off and looking to spear Geun if her clothesline didn't work. She was going to do whatever she could to painfully take this woman down to the mat.

Geun was getting slower, not slow enough though to not be able to avoid the clothesline attempt from Tina. What did get her though was the second attack, juas as he turned to face her opponent, her core got slammed with an immense force, folding her over the tigresses's shoulder as she fell back. Before she did though she would try to wrap her arm around her neck and legs around her torso to hopefully bring the other woman down as well and lock in a guillotine choke.

Tina's takedown did work, but she didn't hit with enough force to leave Geun laid out on her back. Instead Tina found herself trapped! "Ack!" The tigress groaned. She kicked her legs and began swinging her fists into the sides of Geun trying to make her pay for the hold. Tina's body was being crushed and her face red because her air supply was being cut off. Tina was more desperate than she ever hoped to be at this point and the struggling tigress was swinging wildly trying to use her fists to smash the ribs of Geun to get her to let go or loosen her grip enough for the thrashing Tina to escape.

Locking the guillotine was more an attempt at stopping Tina from pressing the advantage than anything else, the angles of the choke were all wrong and while it certainly did not feel so for the one trapped, it would take a while to have an effect. that fact became quickly apparent as the tigress unleashed a flurry of strikes to Geun's ribs, making her already imperfect hold loosen and slip. The only thing for her now was to try and kick her opponent away before scooting away towards the ropes to try and get up.
