The Competition - Katsumi and Tina Armstrong

Following the impact against the mat, Katumi rolls back onto her shoulders and kips up to her feet again. Turning, she quickly assesses Tina's condition and moves immediately to action. Letting Tina up and giving her a chance to get ahold of her seems like a bad idea. But if she can keep the pressure on, keep Tina off-kilter and guessing, and drain her strength and resistance, she has her! Ridiculously good body or not!

Those damn abs. Katsumi wants to finish her with the Wild Rave just for that.

The spry grappler rushes to the side and leaps, setting her feet to the middle rope. The cord bends and snaps back, launching her into the air in a smooth, even elegant arc. On her descend, she tucks her legs in to guide them knees-first across Tina's back, hopefully bearing her down into the mat with a fresh Hell of pain.

If only it ended there.

Upon landing, she'd immediately attempt to cross her ankles and take hold with her left hand while the right hooks her chin. Flowing almost seamlessly but for having to cross the ankles, she'd roll onto her back and heft the girl up across her knees, both hands pulling down to arch her body in a tight bow and arrow lock!

Tina heard Katsumi running to the ropes, and even though she was down she was smart enough to keep an eye on her. As she jumped up onto the middle rope Tina knew the last place she wanted to be was exactly where Katsumi had last seen her. She had an idea that wasn't overly elegant or brilliant, but she hoped being effective was good enough.

Tina rolled hard to the right, moving out of the way as Katsumi came crashing down knee first onto the mat instead of Tina's back! She would get back up to her feet, taking a moment to recover and reassess where things were in the spar. She had a lot of figuring out to do against Katsumi, but the sooner she could get a feel for her the sooner she could try to re-establish control.

Knees slam into the mat, sending shocks of intense pain through the girl's legs. "Aahn!," she cries out, immediately falling to her side. Her arm loops at her knees, resting on her side while seething through her teeth. Unfortunately, between the leg exercises and this new level of fresh pain in her knees, she isn't able to mount an immediate offense. At most, she's propping herself up on her elbow while trying to soothe her kneecaps.

She has nothing to say. Any attempts to vocalize come out instead as pained moans, so she tries to keep her mouth shut as much as possible.

Tina gasped for breath, seeing a chance to recover herself while taking it to Katsumi. She tried to jump on Katsumi's back and wrap her legs around her torso, crushing her with her strong legs while her arms made their way up and around Katsumi's neck, trying to choke the air out of her!

Tina hated the rear naked choke, which is why she tried to use it as much as she could. A choke of the air supply coupled with the crushing pain of torso constriction was nasty. She could only hope that this would sap Katsumi as much as she hoped! Taking the fight and energy out of her would be key to winning this spar for sure.

Before she can uncurl her legs, Tina's weight is upon her. This forces a startled, panicked yelp from Katsumi, immediately finding her arms around her throat. The only saving grace is that in her curled position, Tina's legs aren't quite locking on as well. But as she's pulled back, her arms move to Tina's forearms to struggle with the hold, trying to keep it loose enough to not allow Tina full control. Her legs squirm on the mat, digging in beneath her despite the pain still radiating in her knees.

She's in a dangerous spot. Her workout had been well underway by the time this happened. Her endurance is one of her strongest assets, and with it already depleted, it wouldn't take much in a chokehold to bring her low. The girl manages to flop onto her front on the mat, her hands abandoning Tina's forearm in favor of trying to army crawl towards the ropes.

Tina Did her best to lock in the hold and her grip was tenuous at best. Still, Katsumi was in a bad spot... but crawling her way out of it!

"Nghhhh.... no way!" Tina said defiantly as she tried to give the hold her all, despite Katsumi's progress towards the ropes. Tina Did her damndest... bit it wasn't enough as Katsumi reached the bottom rope! Seeing the rope grabbed Tina immediately let go and backed off to the center of the ring, giving Katsumi space to get back up.

Katsumi isn't getting up immediately after that hold, even though she's been released. Her knees hurt. A lot. She needs oxygen. The slender girl breathes hard, her hand holding a white-knuckled grip on the bottom rope. She fought for that rope break. It may not be serving a purpose now, but it's a little like a bomb shelter at the moment.

Finally, using the ropes, she climbs to her feet again. She rolls over, leaning her back into the ropes. She was already sweating pretty hard when they started their fight, but now her skin is outright glistening. Her punkishly-stylish hair is a little clumpy now, hanging closer to her eyes. She leans off the ropes and closes in with Tina again, attempting to lock up with her, gripping at her collar and shoulder. Her goal is to transition Tina into a side headlock, the teen's cheek mashing against her breast while her wrist pressures her jaw.

Tina catches her own breath as Katsumi gets up. She sees Katsumi looking for a grapple and she eagerly accepts! Unfortunately for Tina, her eagerness played right into a trap as Katsumi began squeezing her had as she flailed and struggled! "Mmppphhhh!"

Tina grabbed onto Katsumi's waist and planted her feet. Instead of trying to lift her for a backdrop, she opted to try to aim Katsumi at the ropes and attempted a good old fashioned shove! IF she could push hard enough to free herself and send Katsumi to the ropes, she would try to set herself up to catch Katsumi as she ran back... provided there were no aerial counters in the works! Given Katsumi's flare, Tina realized afterwards that the backdrop may have been the safer bet...

Katsumi isn't a hulking beast compared to Tina, so the headlock was destined only to be a transitional maneuver. She had plans for it, though. And she'd enjoy it while it lasted, wrenching the hold in, expressing some form of power over her ridiculously fit opponent. Of course, the additional pressure and wrenching just mashes her face against her breast a little more, but she tries to ignore that.

Tina's hands easily find Katsumi's slender waist, and trigger another wrenching from the punk diva. But unfortunately, she loses her grip and gets shoved towards the ropes! With her body feeling drained and aching, she defaults to tried and true techniques in her repertoire - they're as known to has as the back of her hand, but continue to get an audience on their feet. She leaps at the ropes, rather than turn in against them, and her boots plant against the top cord. The slack is stretched and snaps back, flinging the acrobatic girl into a high arc! Her body twists in the air, turning lateral and facing Tina in a risky slingshot crossbody aimed to slam into her opponent!

Should she land and bear Tina down, the momentum and fatigue will see Katsumi rolling over her chest and face before coming to rest on her back just above her head.

Tina though she was prepared for anything. However the high flying Katsumi quickly proved her wrong! A shocked Tina took the hit and barreled over, slamming down hard to the mat!

The hit took the wind out of Tina and bought Katsumi a good deal of recovery time. Tina coughed and groaned as she laid on her back, trying to sit up only to fall flat on her back looking up at the lights.
