LAW Apex Match: Mindy Midnight vs Alizeh Midori

[Bare]

Giving her little comeback to Mindy Alizeh would smirk softly at the woman's response, contrary to what Mindy may have thought, all it said to Alizeh was that some cracks were starting to form, that Alizeh was getting further and further in. "Sounds to me like you're afraid Ms.Midnight." Alizeh shot back simply to Mindy, not wanting to give her even a chance of thinking that she had this verbal exchange.

As for the physical exchange Alizeh would keep her guard as Mindy charged forward, seemingly to tackle her, only to go past her instead! Eyes moving to follow Mindy as she moved past her to rebound off the ropes!

Turning to keep an eye on her Mindy would once again only seek to go past her, but this time by leapfrogging her. Standing up straight and turning to the woman Mindy would finally attack... with a kick. "Ngh!" Alizeh grunted in pain before looking up at Mindy, giving a deadpan to the woman. "Lame." Alizeh said simply again before trying to suddenly fling her arm forward for a chop aimed across Mindy's chest!

Mindy didn't care what Alizeh thought, she still had a show to put on and that left little time for things like fear. Mindy had planned to surprise Alizeh and she did keep her eyes moving by zipping past her twice before planting herself right in front of her and landed her kick. "Do you think I act without fear?" Mindy asked right after her kick landed, ignoring Alizeh putting down the kick before throwing a chop to her chest.

"Nggh." Mindy groaned, stepping back after the hard hitting chop but quickly stepping in and punching Alizeh's chest before pulling her in, wrapping her close to try and lift her up and hold her in the air to drop her with a brainbuster.

Alizeh couldn't help but smirk softly at Mindy as she heard the woman's response to her words, knowing that she was gradually getting further and further into that head of hers and that the more she did, the more this match would go her way. Managing to chop her across the chest though wouldn't be enough to make Mindy back off for now before the woman came back in, sending a punch right back at Alizeh's chest!

"Ngh!" Alizeh grunted out in pain before being grabbed by the head and leg, lifted up off the mat! But Alizeh refused to be taken down so easily by Mindy, not when she had finally found her in against the girl! "I think you act only out of fear!" Alizeh declared in response to Mindy before throwing her arm down to drive repeated elbows into Mindy's skull! If successful than Alizeh would try and pull her legs free from Mindy's grasp and comeback to the mat before grabbing the woman's head and attempting to pull her down to drive the actress into the mat with a ddt!

Mindy had Alizeh up, refusing to let this be stopped by Alizeh's attempts to get in her head and forcing her up so she could drop her down. Alizeh's struggles continued even when she brought her up with her kicking to get free and throwing elbows to the side of Mindy's head. "Gngh!" Mindy groaned taking a few strikes and eventually losing control until Alizeh could get back to her feet, but when Alizeh tried to pull her in for a ddt, Mindy was the one struggling to resist.

"Only a fool could think I'm trapped in fear, those kinds of weaklings are never bold enough to take the steps I do!" Mindy said before she would pull on Alizeh's grasp and try to turn so she could slip out of the ddt attempt and stand back up and then try to twist the arm she had and get behind Alizeh. "In fact it's you who acts in fear, fear of what'll happen if you don't punish me for what happened. Fear of being a laughingstock." Mindy said trying to keep the arm twisted while she would bring her other hand up to cup Alizeh's chin and use it to pull her up and send her backwards to to the mat with a slam.

Nearly getting spiked down into the mat head first by her foe Alizeh was able to fight her way out, kneeing Mindy in the head before dropping back down to the mat safely. After doing so Alizeh would then try and take advantage to pull Mindy down and ddt her but... Mindy wasn't quite as distracted by thoughts as Alizeh hoped. "Ngh!" Wincing as Mindy twisted her arm behind her after escaping her attempt Alizeh would listen to Mindy's words before her chin was grasped and she was forced to look at the dark haired beauty... Before getting pull up and back for a throw!

Unlike before Alizeh wouldn't be able to get out of it and crash down hard into the mat, bouncing away from Mindy from the impact! "AGH!" Alizeh yelled out in pain as she rolled over onto her hands and knees, slowly pushing herself up with a groan while looking up at Mindy through her hair. "Honestly Mindy..." Alizeh said as she would start to stand, holding her back still but never once breaking eye contact with the woman across from her. "I am afraid.. but not of being a laughing stock. Just of not living up to all the things I said I would.. cause unlike you.. I'm a woman of my word, and I am NOT backing down for anyone, least of all you." Alizeh said with a glare as she stood to her full height, staring Mindy down.

The fighting was becoming a tougher back and forth struggle the fans could eat up now that Alizeh was not easily baited by Mindy's words and staying calm. It made Mindy work more and show that she still had the skill of a wrestler to be able to force Alizeh back and still get an opening, dropping Alizeh and getting back up to continue her boasting. Alizeh was smart enough not to rush her rise to her feet, watching Mindy while standing up and letting her know about her own fears, which the crowd picked up on and cheered some more, not that she gave them her attention. For once her eyes were all on Alizeh until she was fully on her feet, watching the Emerald storm try to look tougher than she did.

"It's all the same isn't it? Backing up your words, not being a laughingstock, hating me. Whatever spin you tell yourself it all means the same to me, you're after me and I don't play the secondary cast anymore. For too long you've all looked at me and seen the wrong things, you look at Karen and you see a failed actress because she dared to try something new. You look at Mindy and see a delusional fool playing into the story of the world. You should be looking at what's really here, the wrestler who's going to take over LAW by night. After I've beaten you no one will doubt that I'm serious about wrestling ever again." Mindy said stepping towards Alizeh and offering her hands to lock up with the Emerald Storm once more and a smirk on her face daring Alizeh to test her again.

The tide and tone of the match had shifted ever since Alizeh decided to lean into Mindy's game, ironically enough it working to even the odds in her favor somewhat. However despite the mind games and cheap shots Mindy was a legitimately good wrestler, something Alizeh would admit, albeit begrudgingly. Though it did seem as if Alizeh's prodding and words seemed to crack through the shell that was Mindy Midnight, the woman going on a triade, but this one not being one that Alizeh would find herself angry at, in fact, it made a small grin come across her face, one that widened once she saw Mindy raise her hand up for a test of strength.

"Well now.." Alizeh said as she gingerly stepped forward, the crowd reacting in kind, with bated breath as they waited to see if Alizeh would accept or not, if Mindy would attack beforehand or not, or if they'd be treated to a true test of strength. "You're finally starting to speak my language.. I could almost get to like this wrestler in front of me." Alizeh said in response to Mindy with a nod, before reaching out to grasp Mindy's hands, squeezing firmly before pushing forward to try and engage in a test of strength!

Everyone waited to see if Alizeh would accept the hands or not, and were watching Mindy for any signs that she was playing a trick. It would be easy for Mindy to fake this and attack Alizeh when her guard was down and go on praising herself as an actress, only such a moment never passed or even seemed to be on Mindy's mind when she watched Alizeh move in and take her hands with a grin. Alizeh even seemed to respect the fact that what she was saying was honest before she took it and started the test of strength between them, a chance for a battle of wills that Mindy seemed to want now that Alizeh was playing the match in her style.

"Hmm." Mindy grunted. Not saying anything for once while she focused on what Alizeh did next, before trying to push and feel out the test of strength. It was odd to see one initiated after the match had started and even stranger that it might actually be able to have a proper finish now that the two seemed to have an understanding of one another. Mindy didn't care about any of that, and was only pushing back now as her arms struggled against Alizeh, moving a little bit e=with every push while the two tested one another.

Despite the bad blood and utter despising of one another prior to this match, Alizeh and Mindy had entered.... A kind of truce of sorts. A new level of understanding being made as the two seemed seemed too almost have a new level of respect for eachother. One that started when Alizeh had played into Mindy's game, unintentionally pulling the type of attitude that Alizeh wanted to see in opponents in Mindy. It was a strange situation, but not one that either woman seemed willing to complain or fight against.

Entering the test of strength and seeing no sign of trickery from her foe, Alizeh would push against Mindy, showing her own impressive strength against the actress as the two pushed and struggled, fighting one another for dominance, while also displaying the determination both women had in spades! As they pushed and shoved though Alizeh would grunt as she pushed forward more, pressing her body against Mindy's, pushing down on her arms in a effort to bend Mindy back and overwhelm her!

Mindy's goal was victory and the Apex control, whatever Alizeh thought of her when it was all over meant nothing in the long run. Still she did feel something when Alizeh seemed to change course and lose some of the anger she had for her to start a challenge that was about respect and proving who was better. By now the fans were into it, which was Mindy's true goal since they needed that attention to make this match stand out in the sea of Apex bouts that would be her real competition. For now she locked horns with the Emerald Storm and started a test of strength that would see either the storm or the midnight give out.

She pushed against Alizeh as the two wrestlers were giving it there all, both grunting and starting to tense up as the strain proved exhuasting for both of them. One second Mindy seemed to be faltering and the next she was pushing Alizeh back, the entire time her body shifted here and there to adjust and keep the lock up intense. If they both kept this up eventually something would give out.
