Sea Turtles & Stars: Akari Ito & Kimiko Nagasawa

As the two grappled, it was becoming increasingly obvious that Star was losing ground to Akari. The masked woman was a little TOO quick to jump head first into this spar, and far too eager to lock up with her more experienced friend. Akari slowly began to overtake her and push her back, pacing herself accordingly and putting in a consistent amount of effort, hearing Kim's moans all the while as she struggled to keep up, the Sea Turtle was observant at how her opponent's legs were buckling, and as Star cracked under the pressure and fell onto the canvas, Akari was quick to capitalize on the opportunity. She pulled her into a headlock, tightly gripping her in place, and standing her back up onto her feet. Once prepared, she would plant her feet down on the canvas firmly and lift Kim up for a Headlock Fisherman Suplex, aiming to slam her onto the canvas back first, hooking her leg, and securing a pin. Given that there was no referee to dictate and call their match, it'd be up to both women to individually call the shots and count pin attempts. Of course, Akari was no stranger to this, and she would give Kim a fair chance with an even count.

Kimiko was lifted off the ground and slammed thoroughly onto the canvas with a loud THUD! Kimiko was extremely winded from the impact and could hardly recognize the situation she was in until Akari started counting the pin "1...-"

Kimiko wanted to fight back but she couldn't muster out anything more than glorified twitches, unable to overpower Akari's hold. Her arms started flailed slightly in vain. "2...-" Akari continued.

For Kimiko these mere seconds felt much longer as her body ached. After that impact she was so weak physically and mentally. She gave up. Her tense body began to relax as she gave into her opponents pin! All Kimiko was doing was waiting for Akari's final count so she could finally be released.

Akari had Kim down on the canvas, her leg hooked and her body barely giving any signs of resistance as she counted up. Did they jump into this too quickly? Akari was almost beginning to feel bad. She would hate to have ruined one of the woman's first experiences in the ring here at LAW, even if it was just a minor, friendly spar. Throughout the entire training session, Star had been so eager to show off her skills and impress the Sea Turtle, but was she pushing a little too hard? She couldn't even kick out of the first pin or handle Akari's opening lock-up and follow-up suplex.

"3..." She said, releasing the woman and rolling over, kneeling down beside Kim and observing her, checking to see if she was alright. "Hey, 'Star'...you okay?" She asked, taking a momentary break from the match to allow the rookie some time to recover between sets. "I know what I said earlier but, if you need a moment we don't HAVE to do the spar right now. Are you absolutely sure you're okay with continuing?" She asked quizzically, studying the woman's response to gauge whether or not she WAS fit to compete.

Kimiko's body fell limply to the ground. Kimiko thought to herself "It hurts!~ I really underestimated her. She's so fast and tough, and I'm just so soft and weak. But I can't give up like that. I can't give her the opportunity to take me down like that." Kimiko was breathing out in belabored huffs as she slowly rolled onto her belly, chest pressed against the ground. She looked up at Akari, "I-I'm not giving up!" she barely managed to say. "Uhn... You just got- got lucky..." she moaned out.

Kimiko slowly pushed herself up to her knees, still bent over and catching her breath. She knew she looked rather pathetic in that moment, not even able to break out of such a pin or even get up properly, but she couldn't help it. Kimiko looked down and thought to herself again "I need to find a way to get her down to the mat. But what can I do? The only thing I have on her is my weight..." Suddenly an idea came to Kimiko, and she began to smile. Kimiko took in one final breath as she stood up and assumed her fighting stance. Her face was still obviously winging from the pain from the pain she endured, but she had on an unmistakable self-assured smirk. "I'm still gonna win this! No matter what you can dish out!" Kimiko confidently asserted to Akari.

Akari took a moment to further inspect and check Kim's condition in-depth before making a decision. After reaffirming her beliefs and hearing that courageous and bold statement from the masked woman, she smiled and nodded, allowing her to continue. If Kim was truly okay with pushing forward, she wasn't going to deter her, but the moment things became too much, the Sea Turtle would not hesitate to cut things short and immediately assist her friend in relaxing and easing up. With everything said and done, Akari reset herself across the ring, giving Kim another couple of moments to regain her stamina before they continued.

"Ready?" She asked. "Remember, I won't be holding back, so give me your all!!" She said with a determined and fierce attitude, getting her stance.

Kimiko gave a confident nod. "I know." she assured Akari. "But I can take anything you can dish out!" She was ready and allowed for the second round to start. "I know just how to get her... She'll never see it coming!" she thought to herself. Kimiko held her wide fighting stance and slowly began to circle around the ring facing directly at Akari, patiently and attentively waiting for her to make the first move.

Akari would smirk, admiring her tenacity again but it wouldn't be of much use without some drive and power to back it up. So, once Kim was ready, Akari moved forward and attempted to lock her up in order hold, this time attempting a classic Test of Strength hold. Her goal here was to interlock fingers with the masked woman and push against her in order to force her down onto her knees. This would be a good test to see if Kim could back up her claim, because if she couldn't, Akari would be left with a sizable advantage right off the bat again.

Kimiko looked up at Akari's outstretched arms for the Test of Strength Hold. She knew that in order to come out on top this time she had to learn from her mistake last time and think outside of the box. "Akari loves to kick, and I can exploit that. I have a weight advantage and possible strength advantage, but how can I use that in this hold?!" Kimiko thought. Kimiko accepted the hold, locking her hands with Akari's. The pressure from Akari grew as Kimiko's knees began to wobble and she began to moan. Kimiko quickly thought to herself "My legs... are so weak... I have to keep the weight off my legs! If I keep my weight up higher than Akari, I can pressure her. But if Akari has no other option, she could knee my unprotected gut!"

Kimiko hesitated for a second, but she noticed her legs cried out in exhaustion. She thought once more to herself "If she knees me, that'll just be a hit I'll have to take if it means giving me an opening!" Kimiko gave out a labored grunt as she used her untapped strength. She shifted their hands to her shoulders and leveraged them over Akari's, trying to force Akari's torso lower and putting offensive pressure on her!

Akari was like a brick wall, remaining totally unbudging in the midst of Kim's forceful offense. She holds her ground as best as she can, trying to ensure that she can outlast the woman and her exhausted, sore legs. If 'Star' was looking to become a real challenger in the league, she'd have to go the distance and prove it here and now. It seemed like the Sea Turtle was about to have her wish come true as the masked woman shifted her arms in a fearless assault toward Akari, shocking her as she was certain that the woman's legs would've given out. Furthermore, this newfound power she was demonstrating was starting to overwhelm the turtle-themed wrestler as she felt the heels of her boots sliding back against the canvas. No matter how far she dug her feet in, she couldn't stabilize herself and press back against Kim.

Her torso began to lower, just as anticipated by the masked woman. Additionally, this surprise had caught Akari off guard, her instincts didn't allow her to have the time to process the situation and so she reacted how she typically would in this scenario by raising a knee up in order to strike the 'Star' right in her stomach so that she could prevent her from pushing her back any further.

Kimiko closed her eyes and gritted her teeth as she pushed further on Akari. Kimiko opened her eyes for only a brief moment, squinting down at Akari's face. Kimiko began to think to herself "My strategy is working!! If I can push her just a little more I can get her to the gro--" but her thoughts were immediately cut off by the air being driven out of her body. Kimiko felt a warm stinging pain emanating from her gut. She looked down startled to see exactly what she had feared. Her soft stomach had been dented in by Akari's powerful knee, and it was being driven deeper and deeper. Kimiko wanted to collapse with her eyes rolling back, giving into Akari's strike. But she knew this was now or never! Kimiko did her best to throw Akari's grip off as wrapped her arms around Akari's knee. Kimiko, still hugging Akari's leg, began seeing stars from the strike and had to act fast to not be retaliated. She planted her head into Akari's hips and drove forward with all her weight, making the two of them fall!

Akari's back collided with the mat with Kimiko slipping and falling further up Akari's body past her legs. Kimiko, acting more out of instinct than a coordinated thought, immediately grabbed both of Akari's hands, pinning them to the canvas. "YES!" Kimiko exclaimed joyfully. Kimiko began to count down for the pin "One... Tw- AAH!". Howerver, Akari's squirming and fighting wasn't allowing for the pin and was putting Kimiko's dominance at risk! Kimiko had celebrated too early. If Kimiko wanted to stay on top, she needed to act decisively. Kimiko without thought wrapped her arms around the back of Akari's shoulders and hugged with all her might, pressing Akari's head deep into her supple breasts in an unforgiving smother pin! Kimiko's chest completely covered Akari's head, surely making it difficult to breathe.

Kimiko's pin was succeeding! Akari's attempts to escape and squirm were rather pathetic compared to earlier, but not for a lack of trying. Everything was going by so fast that Kimiko forgot to even start counting down until she heard Akari's muffled voice reverberating and peaking out from her chest. Kimiko perked up "Oh yeah, right! Sorry!"

Kimiko started to count down once more, this time with a pin Akari was having a hard time getting out of. "One... Two..."
