Her counter was a mirror of the last move. Okay. Senji couldn't stand up easily. But there were more defenses to be withdrawn from the arsenal. Somewhat soft, yet worn fingers closed around the thigh encircling his neck. They then shifted, to try to begin inserting themselves in the innermost part of Lei's thigh where the leg met the hip. His intention was to slide his left arm into the Triangle. However, it would be on his terms.

He tried to wrestle against her grip on his scalp, aiming to lean his head towards the right so that he could slide his fingers past his jaw easier. If Senji got that far, the next stage involved sliding the entire arm through the extremely small passage he'd attempted to create. The funnel would hopefully allow his wrist to wriggle inside that space. This was also meant to deter any 'Cryangles' which could involve a leg or his arms. Finally, if the body part snuck further in, Senji could stop her from squishing his neck inward on that side thus allowing his arteries to open and get blood pumping through there once more.

First reaction to Senji's attempts was to push on his head harder and squeeze her legs tighter. She wouldn't, however, remain in her position, being in a side triangle meant that she could apply outwards momentum so she would first pull her legs closer to her chest before pushing out and into a roll so she would remain with a triangle locked in but now in a mounted position. This wasn't something she would teach anyone before having perfect confidence in their skill as it was quite dangerous for the partner if not performed well but she had enough practice and experience to pull it off without putting him at risk.

The seconds ticked on as the transition kicked in. Now Huan leered over him, staring down at him with an expression he read as blurry. He was running out of time. At least his legs were completely free now. He abandoned the attempt, trying to slip it out. He wasn't sure if she was strong enough to scissor his fingers at such an extent to where they were injured. Better not to risk that. Senji disliked enduring joint locks. He could do it, yet chokeholds would get a more prolonged resistance out of him.

He can recover from a quick nap. A broken arm? Not so much. He was having fun with her regardless, and in another time, he found more fighters to test his mettle against...and perhaps develop into something beyond that. Senji aimed to wrap his right arm around her right leg and go the full distance to encircle her hip until it hit the meeting point. This point was his left hand, where the fingers mingled together as the entrapped arm had been bent. After that, Senji aimed to push off again to replicate his roll over attempt to put Lei on her energetic rear.


Finally, Senji tried to scramble to his feet. He raised his entire body to lift the heavier Huan off the ground before swinging a leg forward and twisting until she was no longer on her back. He was trying to perform a Boston Crab like move. The difference was that the concentration wouldn't be on the spine but where Senji would be able to pop his head free when Brightspring was flat on that toned stomach...

This time Senji's attempt worked as he intended this time. Except for one thing, Huan would release her hold on his legs herself but not before giving him a good pull down. She would follow that by getting to her feet and using the fact that her student put most of her body behind himself to take his back. This was a quick clean, almost surgical series of moves as she wrapped her arms around his neck and sunk her legs deep in between his. This time there were no back does open, no purposeful week points like in their last training. Even her supporting hand wasn't resting behind his head, instead being on her own shoulder and moving down her bicep as she squeezed, in this position, it would be much harder to reach.

Eyes darted towards the back at the absence of the weight beneath the main body. Echoing a familiar motion, a forearm sunk into his neck at blistering speed. He couldn't yank at the supporting arm anymore either, since she settled it on her own shoulder. Senji had been forced to collapse into Huan. Her ankles sunk into the intermediate length legs...burrowing into that flesh. She'd caught him. His squirming was coming to a close. He'd nearly had her, dammit. The woman just ran too even with him in terms of ability. The disadvantage given to him is also accentuated by a slowing down of his muscles.

The arteries were being construed again. Closed up nice and tight. Senji felt the metaphorical ticking of the clock. Still, he continued a restrained squirming. Twisting, anything with his limited energy. But it wasn't enough. Just a little longer, then Senji would be choosing the nap option. He struggled to gain an inhale. Senji sputtered for air, the young man having become extremely slow due to the relaxing nature of the effects present within the RNC. Yet, Takijima refused to submit. It looked like he would ride the train until the end.

Huan wouldn't let up until Senji was out. She really wished he would tap but the boy was stubborn and that wasn't necessarily a good quality in a fighter, not in a long run.

As soon as he passed out, Huan would release him. First order of business was making sure he was ok. He would most likely wake up quickly, fresh blood and oxygen doing their job but you could never be too careful.

Senji was on the cusp. The brisk. And then...he'd go over the edge. After that, Senji knew no more. To him, it'd been perhaps a second or two as opposed to the tense several that kicked by whilst he was unconscious. Briefly, memories flashed of a snowy landscape...Senji fully dressed for a Russian hellscape and overlooking the white sheets of frozen water as if he was searching for something. Then...BAM...he snapped awake. He quickly sat up, springing into action. Then, the actual events came flooding back. Right, Senji had suffered a K.O. He licked his lips, taking in whatever drool had escaped in favor of gulping it back down with a shudder.

Shit, Huan! He must have given her quite a scare there. He was really pushing it in that last stretches of this roll. To rectify this, Senji turned to face her and nervously opened his arms. He wasn't sure how to proceed. Perhaps Huan would be open for this since she'd chosen the option during their last meeting's conclusion but unlike last time this was in the middle.

His chest heaved in and out. The English came out as reassuring. He needed to make sure worries wouldn't appear and massage the ones already there since he was fairly sure she cared about him.

"I'm sorry Huan. I shouldn't have...pushed it too far.", Huan could probably tell he wasn't used to this type of apology judging by the tone. He sounded genuine enough.

"You really need to learn to pace yourself, you could get seriously hurt in a real fight. Tapping out is ok, be smart."

She said giving him a firm hug. He wasn't even 20 yet, only now she actually internalized that. He was an adult, sure but there was a lot brewing under his skull, his reaction now made it clear he had to figure out some things.

"You sure you are ok? You looked scared when you woke up, more than people usually are."

"Yeah, yes ma'am.----"

An observant one, wasn't she? If Huan knew the truth, he stood the risk of being pushed away or worse. However, she didn't deserve to be 'lied' to. Answer the question exactly then. Damned dreams. They'd interrupted his sleep more than a few times even after he did what he sought out to do around 2 years before the current time after Senji had finished preparing. That's a story for another time though. Preferably never.

Senji returned the hug, keeping Huan held there if she were to cooperate. If she wanted to legitimately pull away, then Senji obediently let go. A rift was the last thing he needed for his new...friend? Master? Companion? Whatever label was appropriate. Similar to his session with Jenner Sky, he answered her with a truth that'd satisfy her burning curiosity.

"---I am alright. If I told you, you wouldn't like it."

"I understand. Still, if you ever feel like talking I'm here."

She said keeping him close for a bit longer before letting go. She was still worried of course but she wasn't about to push on something he clearly wasn't comfortable with. If he felt safe enough he would eventually say it, on his own terms.

The atmosphere got obviously tense so to let everyone involved relax she would try to introduce a bit of every as they parted from a hug she would flick his forehead.

"You better learn to tap before passing out soon, you might run out of living brain cells to learn otherwise." She said in a playful but still slightly chastising tone.
