Dana Ashford vs. Touka Akan - Old Acquaintances

Bringing Touka down with a side slam, Dana picked herself up and pull Touka with her, planning to continue with her momentum. Once she brought Touka back up, she would adjust her grip on her a little before she hoisted her up again, making sure to give the other woman enough airtime before sending her down into the mat with a body slam.

A move so simple could be so deadly in the hands of a seasoned veteran like Dana. After slamming Touka down, Dana would place herself on top of her, going for a pinfall attempt.

Touka had been struggling since the match began, which was expected given the gap between the two when it came to wrestling. It didn't mean Touka intended to take it just because she had that disadvantage, when she was pulled up to her feet she followed but when Dana would lift her up for a body slam Touka would fight and try to slip out, throwing elbows to Dana's head to get her to let her go. If this worked Touka would try to fall in behind Dana and grab her head, turning to face away from her and then falling back to drop Dana the rest of the way with a neckbreaker.

One move down but knowing that Dana wouldn't stay down just like that Touka would get back up to her feet and turn back to face Dana, preparing for her next move. Once Dana was trying to get up Touka would line herself up with Dana from the side and run in to send a low knee into the side of Dana's skull.

When Dana was about to slam Touka down with the body slam, Touka threw elbow strikes to her head before she slipped out of her grasp. Wincing as she took those blows, Dana was stunned for a bit, which allowed Touka to execute an attack, which was a neckbreaker as she slipped behind her, grabbing her head and dropping herself down.

"URGHHH!!"

Dana was shaken from the neckbreaker, and she was sent down onto the mat. Still, she refused to stay down for long as she would push herself up, but it seemed that Touka wasn't going to stop herself as she went for a knee to the side of her head when she was about to rise up. "NGHHH!!" Touka's knee impacted against her head, leaving her rattled. She fell down and clutched her head, and now Dana was in trouble.

She couldn't remember for sure but she was confident that this was the first time she had actually knocked Dana down since this match started, not a major accomplishment for most but for Touka it meant some progress was being made. Dana was quick to get back up after the neckbreaker, which Touka had planned for and knocked her back down with the knee to her head to make sure she stayed down this time. Dana couldn't be left alone for too long, too smart and already thinking about her next 20 moves even when she was on the floor.

"Think I'm getting somewhere." Touka said sighing, while she gingerly moved about on her shaky and tired legs but stayed close to Dana's side. Touka would try to make sure Dana couldn't stand by moving her to her stomach so that she could pull her arms across her head and sit on her back before pulling on her arms to pull Dana back in a camel clutch variation while stretching her out for a few seconds.

Dana's head throbbed after taking the knee to the side of her head earlier, and now Touka was going to take advantage of this as she went to put Dana on her stomach before she put her into a camel clutch.

"NNGHHH!!"

Dana grimaced in pain, gritting her teeth as she tried to ignore the pain. The throbbing sensation in her head made it hard for her to focus, but she wasn't going to let herself be defeated by this move as she would endure the hold.

Dana was being pulled back as far as Touka could take her, knowing that Dana was capable of enduring some pain. She wanted to make sure that she did something that Dana would struggle with to wear her down and deal with her strength, something Touka couldn't match on her own. Thankfully from the sounds of things it was working and Touka would keep the hold on a little longer while stretching her friend.

"It would take 10 minutes for this hold to beat you, I know you are tough as nails Dana." Touka said making it clear that her time with the hold was short. Dana would either get to the ropes or break out before she tapped and Touka wasn't going to throw away her moment before she would throw Dana down to the mat and stand up ready to keep beating her down.

The pain from the camel clutch was making it hard for Dana to think, but the veteran wasn't going to let herself be beaten by such a move as she would start moving backwards, hoping to reach the ropes so that she could give herself a rope break. She groaned as she moved even as Touka continued pulling her head in the hold.

"NNNGHHHH!!"

Dana gritted her teeth, exerting her effort to get closer to the ropes. She wouldn't allow herself to be beaten by such move, not when she could help it. She might end up weakened afterwards, but she would make sure that she would keep herself in the fight, refusing to submit, even against someone like Touka.

Dana was stubborn and tough, despite how hard Touka was pulling on this submission the dame wouldn't just stay down. It was that fighting spirit that Touka respected the hell out of since she carried it into everything, in the ring and out. Touka tried to bend Dana about as much as she could without letting her escape or lose her balance on top. Dana was still making strides to the ropes, and Touka knew that she had little time to worry about it.

Once her hand reached out to the rope Touka let go and backed away. "That was expected but now I know I can bring you down Dana. Next time you might be in trouble." Touka said smiling at her friend while she waited for her to return to her feet.

When she finally reached the ropes, Dana grabbed onto the bottom one, and she was finally released from the hold by Touka. Grunting and gasping in pain, Dana pulled herself back up onto her feet, holding onto the ropes to steady herself. Wincing, she still could feel the pain from being trapped in the camel clutch, but she knew that she still could fight despite her being weakened.

"Haa... w-well, we'll see about that..." Dana told Touka as she steadied herself after getting herself back up onto her feet. Rubbing the back of her neck to ease the tension from the camel clutch earlier, she stepped away from the ropes, ready to face Touka once more. This time, she would take a more careful approach, getting into a defensive position as she would wait for Touka to make her move.

Touka could tell that she was going to have a tougher time from here on out. Dana didn't hold back and she learned about how someone wrestled, she knew right now Dana was calculating her best course of action and Touka didn't have her experience to do the same. She would have to just go for it and get the best of her with a few surprises.

"Yes, and I don't intend to keep you waiting." Touka said before she would move in and lock up, she doubted Dana was expecting Touka to move in forward when she knew Dana was stronger. Touka didn't care for that, she wanted to try and move her arms up to Dana's head and pull on it while holding her neck to try and force her down and pull her away from the ropes so she could pull her into a headlock.
