Wyvern (D) vs. Alizeh Mirdori

Wyvern was only vaguely aware of the cheering crowd and Alizeh's war cry, her entire world consumed by the growing disorientation and pain coming from repeated blows to the head. As Wyvern managed to flop her way onto her stomach while Alizeh revved herself up, the crowd could see her face contorted in a snarl of pain, her eyes still closed from the exertion. With a grunt, the Irish wrestler slammed one hand onto the mat, and with agonizing slowness began to push herself up...only to immediately have both arms pulled behind her and forced behind her back. As Alizeh secured her grip in the process of rolling over, Wyvern braced herself. Sub-optimal. While the thought was subdued, the pain was most certainly not as Alizeh hyperextended both of Wyvern's shoulders, threatening to dislocate them entirely.

"Gggghk...kch...rrrgh..." As the match had gone on, Alizeh had enough time for the sounds of Wyvern's restrained exclamations of pain to become familiar, her jaw clamped shut but her lips split into a grimace by the torturous submission. The pained outbursts quickly mixed with struggling grunts as Wyvern attempted to break free through sheer force, something that simply wouldn't work on a properly executed hold. She then tried to get her legs under her to stand, but lacked the leverage to do so. The ropes were too far to reach. Finally, Alizeh could feel Wyvern stop struggling, seemingly accepting that there were no means for her to escape the hold from her current position. Were this a normal match, that would indicate an imminent tap out.

It is not.

A brief shift of Wyvern's neck was all the warning Alizeh got before Wyvern attempted to slam into the side of her jaw with an absolutely vicious headbutt. Even without leverage and in such close quarters, the striker was able to generate an astonishing amount of force, enough to inflict serious pain or even injury. How she herself was withstanding the impact after repeated blows to the head was a mystery for the ages, but she shows no signs of stopping, immediately winding up for another after the first. At the same time, Alizeh can feel Wyvern's arms begin to push back on her grip; not enough to break the hold or prevent dislocation, but enough to slow it down at the very least.

During a large portion of the early goings of this match things had remained a striking based exchange between Alizeh and Wyvern, with light bits of grappling here and there. As such Wyvern had taken control with her superior strikes and surprising toughness. Now however Alizeh was taking the match back to her terms by making use of some body bending submissions. In this case a brutal cattle mutilation hold. Something that would both be painful enough on its own to merit a tap out, but even if not than it would at least weaken and damage Wyvern's arms, limiting those fearsome blows of hers at least somewhat. Something that would no doubt help Alizeh as the match continued between the two.... if it did.

Through with it being said Alizeh wasn't sure if it would. With their distance from the ropes and the sound of pain from Wyvern's mouth Alizeh wasn't sure how much longer Wyvern would manage to hold out in the excruciating hold. As she continued to pull on the limbs Alizeh even felt Wyvern go seemingly limp, as if the pain had overloaded her and the dark haired brawler couldn't deal with it anymore. Something that, while Alizeh wouldn't blame anyone for doing, did surprise her that Wyvern had let it happen so easily, she had expected at least a fair bit more... fight from the so far extremely determined and tough as nails woman.

Or at least thats what she had thought. But she would soon discover just how wrong she actually was. Because without any warning or chance to anticipate it, Alizeh was suddenly hit by an explosive and powerful headbut right to her jaw that rattled her whole skull! "UGH!" Moaning in pain from the impact Alizeh's grip on the hold immediately loosened up, her focus disrupted and left laggy from the hard head to head collision. A impact that Alizeh would soon find herself taking once again when Wyvern wound back and fired another headbut into her jaw! "GAH!" Crying out in pain again Alizeh wa forced to release her hold all together, left to roll off Wyvern's back and onto her own next to the woman, holding her jaw in pain with a dazed expression!

The agonizing submission was nearly enough to force Wyvern out of the match, as it threatened to dislocate both arms and was positioned to prevent any conventional escape attempt. Indeed, Wyvern considered tapping briefly when she realized just how far the ropes were. But, through the haze of pain and the ringing in her ears, one thought refused to subside: I won't let it end like this. Cornered like an animal, Wyvern took the only path left to her and twisted her neck before driving repeated headbutts into Alizeh's jaw. With her primary source of training, Wyvern had been learning to use and take headbutts for years; even from the awkward position, she was able to mitigate the effects her blows had on her while maximizing the ones on Alizeh. The hold is quickly dropped as the momentarily stunned wrestler is forced away by Wyvern's desperate assault, leaving them both flat on the floor of the ring.

Forcing herself up on her elbows and ignoring the lingering pain in her shoulders, Wyvern looked across at Alizeh. If the Texan was aware enough to meet her gaze, she'd see that same, savage half-grin that Wyvern has sported intermittently during the match, this time with a touch of cheekiness at her successful escape. The gaze didn't last long, however, as Wyvern surged up to her feet, keeping herself steady as the pounding in her head began to subside. As soon as she made it up, Wyvern pivoted on her heel and turned to face Alizeh. If her opponent hasn't made it to her feet by then, Wyvern attempts to throw a merciless soccer kick into Alizeh's ribs, trying to flip her onto her stomach. If this succeeds, Wyvern stands over her downed opponent and reaches down, intending to lock her arms around Alizeh's waist and execute a German Suplex!

Alizeh groaned softly as she ended up laying on the mat right besides Wyvern. Of the various ways she could have escaped, that was probably the last one Alizeh had expected. That or the headbuts were just making it difficult for her to think clearly or cognitively past when she took them. Hell one head but was bad enough, but two? Seriously after the damage Alizeh had done to Wyvern's skull the green haired woman was more so shocked that she even willing to try that period. Now here she was completely stunned from the move and unable to do much of anything as she tried to look up, wincing from the intensity of the lights above her. Looking to the side she saw Wyvern already up, grinning at her. Immediately Alizeh tried to sit up, knowing how bad a situation she was in right now.

But she was a few seconds too late. Before she could even get into a seated position Wyvern's leg lashed out, smacking into Alizeh's ribs and sending her rolling onto her stomach! "Agh!" Alizeh moaned out, kicking her legs against the mat from the pain running through her system. Worse yet however Wyvern wasn't close to done. Before Alizeh could reach she felt a pair of arms wrapping around her waist. 'Shit!' Alizeh thought to herself, her hands immediately clawing at the limbs encircled around her as she was hauled up to her feet. But it wasn't enough, at the moment she wasn't strong or lucid enough to fully break her opponent's grip. 'Shit!' Alizeh thought to herself as she was flung backwards by the suplex! "AGH!" Screaming in pain as her back his the mat Alizeh would lay there, with her legs hanging over her, unable to process what to do next, but surely falling onto her stomach if Wyvern released her grip!

After nearly being forced to tap to Alizeh's Cattle Mutilation hold, Wyvern's mind had pushed into full gear. Seeing that her opponent was very familiar with submission holds, a notable weakness of hers, Wyvern knew that she had to act fast and regain control of the fight's momentum before she could be put into another hold or pulled down into a grapple. The next time, she might not be so lucky as to have a way to escape, reckless though it may have been. Thus, she acted quickly, intending to do her best to incapacitate her opponent before she could recover. Although she has many tools well suited to this end at her disposal, she quickly elects for one of the most impactful. A quick kick to the midsection is all it takes to align her opponent into the necessary position. Straddling her and grabbing Alizeh around the waist, Wyvern lifted her in the near-perfect arc of a well-practiced German Suplex. Although slow at first, the move picked up speed and force rapidly, making the eventual impact all the more devastating as Wyvern brings her opponent crashing down onto the canvas.

As Alizeh lies dazed from the force of the impact, however, she may notice that Wyvern isn't releasing her. On the contrary, the Irish wrestler rolls with the momentum of the move, putting even more pressure on Alizeh's head and neck before she lands on her feet and begins attempting to lift her opponent off the ground once more. If she succeeds, Wyvern slides her linked hands up across Alizeh's stomach and over her chest, lifting her under her armpits as Wyvern briefly separates her hands to get around Alizeh's neck before locking in a full nelson. This is all done surprisingly smoothly, not even interrupting the overall motion of Wyvern's body as she aims to slam Alizeh back into the mat again, this time with a Dragon Suplex!

If Wyvern completes the move successfully, she once again intends to roll over and begins shifting her grip once more. This transition is far less smooth than the previous one, however, and Alizeh could use the chance to escape...if she's cognizant enough to do so after two brutal impacts.

Alizeh groand in pain from her position on the, folded over herself like a sushi roll, her legs hanging above her head, the weight of her body being unable to fully roll forward leaving her stuck in this precarious position. Largely due to Wyvern maintaining a tight grip on her waist despite the successful suplex. Which mean one of two things, either the woman was going to go for a bridging pin, or.. 'Shit.' Alizeh thought to herself, wincing deeper as new pressured forced itself down on her neck and shoulders from the weight of her opponent rolling over her. 'Not good.' She thought to herself, already having an idea of what Wyvern would do as she was suddenly pulled up from the position she was in moments before. "Double shit." Alizeh breathed out as she felt the grip around her waist break momentarily before those same arms locked up around her shoulders in a full nelson, a position that Alizeh was all too familiar with.

"GAHHH!" Screaming in pain once more as she was flung through the air and smashed into the mat below with a dragon suplex Alizeh found herself in a similar position as a few moments ago. Legs hanging over her head limply Alizeh was well and truly out of it. Between the headbuts and the now repeated suplexes she had been hit with she was in a dazed state, not capable of doing much as far as fighting her way out of her current position, let alone any future one that Wyvern had in mind for her. So even factoring in the slower transition of her opponent's hands over her body, Alizeh wasn't anywhere near lucid enough to change what was about to happen!

With Alizeh too stunned to respond, Wyvern had no trouble completing her follow-up movements to the first two suplexes. Rolling through once more, she flipped her hold on Alizeh's arms, securing her into a double chicken wing hold. As soon as Alizeh felt Wyvern's palms rest on her back, the debuting wrestler used all of her explosive strength at once, unleashing a devastating Snap Tiger Suplex on her opponent. The stomach-churning motion lasted for mere instants before the two hit the canvas like a sack of bricks, completing the devastating combination that Wyvern (internally) referred to as the Manticore Suplex. As with the previous two, Wyvern does not release Alizeh after the Tiger Suplex, but this time does not roll over, either, arching her back into a bridging pin while continuing to trap Alizeh's arms in place.

Wyvern had ended more than a few matches with this sequence of moves. Show me you can keep going. In truth, she still didn't want the match to end, but Alizeh turning around being knocked nearly unconscious into almost forcing Wyvern to tap out had brought her competitive instincts to the fore. Until the bell rang, she would need to give it her all to win. She could no longer afford to just indulge her desire for violence. Moreover, she was starting to get tired; Alizeh had forced her to use far more energy, faster, compared to the slower pace she usually preferred during matches. While Wyvern had enormous strength for her size, that didn't change the fact that she wasn't built to sustain those levels of force for long periods of time, and displays of power like the earlier Exploder Suplex had drained her more than her ferocious conflict with Alizeh would indicate. Indeed, Alizeh can hear Wyvern breathing even more heavily than might be expected from behind her, using the lull in the action to recover herself even as she attempts to pin her opponent.

WHAM

With a third thunderous impact Alizeh was brought backwards for a snap tiger suplex. All throughout the process of it being locked in from the awkward transition Alizeh was too stunned to react or do anything about it. The headbut alone left her mind in a loop, but those combined with two big slam in the german and dragon suplex respectively left her stunned and unable to properly do anything in retaliation. Even when Alizeh felt Wyvern's hands on her back all the green haired girl knew was that it meant they were about to go airborne again, and boy did they. The entire trip through the air Alizeh was helpless to do anything before she was brought slamming into the mat for a third time.

Once again Alizeh's legs would hang over her body idly, her body folded up by her own weight and the angle she was being held at. Especially with the amount of pain she was in making it hard for her to think straight. As is though the only reason Alizeh didn't collapse on her side was because of Wyvern's hands clasped around her own arms in the double chicken wing. Even with all the pain clouding her mind Alizeh had enough ring awareness to know exactly what this was, especially with them not moving from it right away like before. 'Pin.. fall...' Alizeh thought to herself in pain, recognizing a bridging pin when she was in one, even in spite of her current state. Soon enough the ref as well would understand the position both women were in and dropped down low besides them to count the pinfall attempt.
ONE! TWO!!

The first two counts from the ref went by without a hitch. As they did the crowd were quick to boo Wyvern, still seeing her as a heel in this scenario while they attempted to also cheer for Alizeh and bring her back in this. The vast majority wanting Alizeh to make a comeback and win this. However, while a majority were behind Alizeh there were definitely a decent number of cheers and whoops for Wyvern, her toughness and surprising skill having won some people over apparently. But Alizeh had no intention of disappointing those who were rooting for her. "GRAH!" With a roar of effort Alizeh forced her legs up before throwing her lower body weight to the side, pulling her shoulders off the mat and herself and Wyvern to the side in the process to break the pinfall just before the three count could be made!

ONE! Still breathing heavily, Wyvern shut her eyes as the referee began counting the pinfall, savoring what could be the final moments of the match. Her aching body, forced into an arc in order to bridge the pin properly. The sound of her blood pumping through her veins, refusing to slow down. The burning in her chest where Alizeh's body was rubbing up against her raw skin from the earlier exchange of chops. The sweat, soaking through her clothes and chilling her now that she had stopped moving. It wasn't comfortable, not by any means, but it was only in times like these that Wyvern truly felt alive. TWO! Alizeh hadn't moved yet. Then that's that. Wyvern began to relax her grip in disappointment at an inopportune moment, just as Alizeh forced herself to the side and off of her shoulders to interrupt the count. Taken off-guard, Wyvern is thrown with her, smacking off of the canvas and disentangling her arms from Alizeh's.

The impressive and powerful sequence of suplexes had certainly been effective, but as Wyvern had hoped, Alizeh was able to kick out at the last second. Rather than immediately getting up and engaging her opponent again, Wyvern just rested on her stomach for a moment, retreating into her own thoughts as she tried to catch her breath. The crowd was almost deafeningly loud after the last-second escape, but it all sounded far away to Wyvern. The fact that some of them were even cheering for her as much as Alizeh didn't even register to her, not that she would have known how to react if it did. Disinterest was only half of the reason she'd never connected well with crowds; in truth, it was just as much because she didn't know how to deal with them. All too often, the reverse was true as well.

After what seemed like an eternity in Wyvern's mind but which only lasted seconds in truth, the Irish wrestler slowly came back down to reality. If Alizeh wasn't able to exploit Wyvern's period of distraction, she painfully forces herself to move and pushes off the canvas, rolling a couple times before reaching the edge of the ring. Reaching up, she grabs hold of the ropes, using them to aid her in the slow process of getting to her feet. Ow, ow, ow... Wyvern could push her way through pain quite easily, but it was still, well, pain, and the less active she was, the more thought space she had to devote to it. Even beyond the impacts she had taken, Wyvern had spent a good portion of the match throwing around a larger and heavier wrestler, and her muscles were beginning to protest from overuse. Once up, she drapes her arms back over the top rope, using it to partially support her weight as she tries to find Alizeh and check on how, and what, her opponent was doing.

Barely, just barely Alizeh had managed to repel the efforts of her opponent in the pinfall attempt. Really Alizeh would have to count her lucky graces that the woman had gone for a bridging pin as opposed to something more secure. It was easy for her to throw her weight to one side and break the position enough for Alizeh to get shoulder off the mat. 'Thanks fuck.' Alizeh thought to herself with a wince, laying face first against the mat next to her dark haired opponent, both women pretty winded and hurting fairly badly from the toll the match had on them. Looking up Alizeh saw Wyvern starting to roll away from her as opposed to pressing another attack. "Phew." Alizeh said to herself, breathing a sigh of relief as she moved to do a similar action as her opponent.

Rolling in the opposite direction of Wyvern the green haired girl would bring herself to a stop the moment she felt the bottom rope against her. 'I really needed this.' Alizeh thought to herself as she slowly but surely grabbed onto the ropes, using them to haul herself off the mat and back into a standing position. "Ngh.. agh... damn." Alizeh said in between grunts and winces of pain as she did so, the pain throughout her body making it a chore to do so. In particular Alizeh's chest and back were seriously hurting from all the punishment she had taken throughout the bout, those three successive suplexes especially doing a major number on Alizeh as she took the chance to of reprieve to look over at her opponent who looked to be in a similar state across from her.

In spite of the pain all throughout her body and how tired she was... Alizeh found herself smiling. This was the type of bout Alizeh lived for and enjoyed. The kind of brawl and utter battle that made a win worth while in her opinion. But that was the hard part. Winning. Wyvern had showed all throughout the match that she was strong, tough, as well as a massively good striker and as Alizeh had just found out, very good at suplexes. Something Alizeh wouldn't have pegged her for. Still the biggest moment of near victory Alizeh had was when she had the girl in a submission, so that meant that would be her route going forward. Alizeh just needed to create the perfect opening. "Hah.. hah... hah..." Taking a few quick breathes Alizeh prepared and hyped herself up all at once, she had taken lots of damage before and pushed through, and increasing her stamina was always at the top of her workout list, so despite the pain she was in, Alizeh still had enough in the tank for some fast offense. "HAGH!" So with a quick, loud warcry Alizeh pushed off the ropes and dashed at Wyvern, crossing the ring at high speed and leaping up in a effort to go for a flying knee strike to the girl's chest!
