Allen Riley vs. Trinette Vaillant - Apex Qualifier Match

[Arjuna]

The corner splash had left Allen a wheezing wreck, and as she struggled to recover, she was then put into a headlock, Allen groaned as Trinette then pulled her away from the corner, bringing her to the center of the ring before she brought her down, face first, with a running bulldog!

"UAGHH!!"

Allen cried out as her face hit the mat. Things didn't look too good for the British high-flyer, it seemed. For the time being, all she could do was to writhe in pain, slumped against the canvas and left vulnerable before her opponent.

[Devastated]

Trinette took a hold of Allen's head and started to run with her, away from the corner and heading off towards the center of the ring! Dragging the British wrestler along with her, the bluenette jumped up and then brought the British high-flyer down! Slamming her down forehead into the canvas with that bulldog! The bluenette would land on her rear, huffing out as she would look over at her downed foe.

Pushing up to her knees, Trinette would try and roll her foe over onto her back. Rising to her feet, Trinette would turn and run towards the ropes! Looking to jump off of them to springboard herself into the air! Soaring through the sky momentarily, before trying to crash down on top of Allen Riley, going for a lionsault to show off a bit of athleticism!

Allen's head throbbed painfully from the bulldog, and it seemed that Trinette was going to continue with her momentum. She rolled Allen over onto her back before she ran towards the ropes. Sensing what was coming, Allen would try to figure out the right timing to turn the table as she listened to her opponent's footsteps. As Trinette launched herself up into the air, looking to hit the downed Allen with a lionsault, the Brit would try to bring her knees up, hoping to have her opponent land onto them, belly first, which would certainly knock the wind out of her.

[Devastated]

Trinette jumped off of the ring ropes! Bouncing off them and sailing through the air as she descended towards the British wrestlers body! So far the crowd seemed rather convinced that Trinette had this match in the bag and that the end was near...but as Trinette would crash into Allen's body, it was not her midsection that Trinette hit but the belly of the bluenette came down onto Allen's knees!

The British wrestler had been able to bring her legs up just in time and with it caught Trinette with a devastating reversal. The bluenette gasped out! Drops of spittle shooting out of her mouth as she bounced off Allen's knees and fell onto her back, arms wrapped around her midsection as she was sent into a coughing fit.

Countering Trinette's attempt to hit her with a lionsault by getting her to land belly first onto her knees, Allen knew that she managed to turn the table against her. Seeing the Frenchwoman fall down to the mat, sputtering and coughing after failing to land her attack, Allen would then roll over onto all four before pushing herself up. She would like to make use of this opportunity to inflict damage on her opponent.

Grabbing Trinette on her way up, Allen would bring her up alongside her. Just to ensure that her opponent would remain breathless, Allen would drive her knee into her belly again before she sent her running towards the ropes with an Irish whip. She was counting on her to hit the ropes and rebound back to her, where she would then try to hit her with a roundhouse kick to the side of her head as soon as she reached her back.

[Devastated]

Trinette's lionsault had ended in a catastrophic failure as Allen pulled herself back into the match! The bluenette would gasp and cough as she tried to get air back into her lungs, but as Trinette was busy trying to catch her breath, Allen was rising to her feet. She grabbed a hold of the bluenette's head and guided the French wrestler up!

Trinette was forced to her feet and just as she was starting to fill her lungs with air, that knee of Allen came crashing into her belly! "Gwuhhh!" Trinette coughed out, air and spittle shot out once more as she was left doubled over in front of the Brittish wrestler...there was little Trinette could do as next that roundhouse kick of Allen came up and struck her right in the side of the head! "Gnfh!" she grunted out, as the Paladin slumped down in a heap on the canvas, left groggy from the British gal's kick!

Hitting Trinette with a roundhouse kick, knocking her down, Allen would not waste her time as she would put herself on top of her, trying a pinfall attempt. Hooking one of Trinette's legs, she looked at her as the referee came over to start counting for the pin. It would be nice if she managed to get a win from this move, though she wasn't holding her breath on that.

"ONE!"

[Devastated]

Trinette was left groggy in a heap on the canvas by Allen's sudden roundhouse kick having nailed her square in the jaw! Her head was swimming, and her thoughts were jumbled as she was rolled right over onto her back and the British wrestler moved down on top of her. Hooking that one leg of hers and pulling her into a leg-hook pin!

The referee moved in quick and started the pin count, as she slapped her hand down against the canvas and called out for the first count...then repeating the action!

"TWO!..." The tension suddenly rose, within an instant the air felt as if it had been electrified. As the so far dominant Trinette might actually be felled at this moment, the crowd became louder as the referee raised their hand up into the air once more!

Then suddenly the bluenette bucked! Kicking her leg out and thrusting her shoulder up to the side, breaking off the pinfall before the referee could bring her arm down, forcing her to raise two fingers up into the air to signal that it had been a two count.

At first Allen thought that this would be it. This would be the winning pin as the referee reached the second count. But before she could reach the third count, Trinette kicked out and got her shoulder off the mat, breaking the pin. Getting herself off of Trinette, Allen let out a grunt, knowing that the match hadn't ended yet. She would reach down to grab Trinette, looking to pull her up as she would rise back up to her feet.

"Alright, I'll give you some more..." Allen said as she would force Trinette to get back up to her feet, holding her by her wrist. From there, she would try to send the bluenette running towards the corner with an Irish whip, this time counting on her to hit the turnbuckle. As soon as she released her, Allen would chase after her, planning to hit her with a jumping knee smash right in her face as soon as she hit the corner.

[Devastated]

Kicking out of Allen's pin attempt, Trinette would roll over onto her side and groan out a bit, for the moment she wasn't able to fight back and from the looks of it Allen wasn't going to allow her to take her time and recover, the blunette felt how she was grabbed by Allen and pulled up to her feet by the British wrestler. Then she was sent running as Allen launched her with an Irish-whip! Trinette stumbled forward to the corner and at the last moment managed to turn to have her back hit the turnbuckle, but as she did so the bluenette's eyes would widen as she saw Allen had run right after her.

Trinette had no time to react, Allen had reached her too quickly and jumped up. She came crashing right into the bluenette's chin with that knee and knocked her head backwards, an impact which rocked nearly the whole body of Trinette against the corner turnbuckle and a second or two after the impact, Trinette would slump down onto her rear, where she would be seated in a dazed state in the corner...
