Re: Anne Misaki Erhardt [D] vs Freezer Katakura - Fire vs Ice
Anne wasn’t so sure about what she was expecting from her last move, but when she saw Freezer going over the ropes and landing on her knees and out of the ring the redhead froze in place for an instant with an expression of sheer terror. Just thinking about the possibility of having injured Freezer was enough to send a cold sweat down Anne’s spine. Then she noticed how Freezer didn’t look in dire pain and she breathed a sigh of relief. She hadn’t gone too far. Then Anne’s attention shifted towards the crowd who was cheering for her and even chanting her name. She had to press on now that she was making an impression on everyone.
Gaining some momentum once again Anne decided to not give Freezer any second of respite. In order to do so she would try something a little more spectacular but that could easily go wrong if she didn’t calculate distances right. The Phoenix would run towards the edge of the ring and then execute a baseball dive dropkick, going below the ropes in a flashy way while she tried to catch Freezer unaware and capitalize from her edge once again. After all, a count had started for Freezer before her, so if she managed to get the white-haired out of the ring until it reached ten it would be a win for Anne...

Re: Anne Misaki Erhardt [D] vs Freezer Katakura - Fire vs Ice
Anyone could tell that Freezer was not used to being rocked like this, clearly not handling it well from the get-go. She tended to do her best work on the offense, pressing her attack and getting into her opponent’s head. Retreating was not her thing. Recovering, even less so. It wasn’t a matter of pride or even skill, but negated expectations coming back to bite her.
Even the simple act of going over the ropes like that had thrown her for a loop, and she was struggling to get her head back in the game. She stumbled away from the barricade, tottering here and teetering there, opened her eyes to lock in on her opponent, and-
”Ah.”
Freezer only had time for a slight, surprised exclamation before Phoenix’s feet plowed into her face at ramming speed. This time, there was no saving it. She went down, hard, flat on her back, and stayed there for the time being, blinking and shaking her head, her world utterly rocked.

Re: Anne Misaki Erhardt [D] vs Freezer Katakura - Fire vs Ice
Being her first true wrestling experience she didn't know what to expect from her debut, but some nervousness or jitters wouldn't be so out of place. The redhead struggled at the match's beginning to find her center and it showed in how Freezer was managing to pummel her, at least until the moment her fighting back started looking way less chaotic and disorganized.
Now Anne couldn't stop. She had found her mojo in that match but a part of her feared that she might lose it once again if she made a stop to think her options. That was how she was met with a simple option: keeping on with the pressure. That got Anne in a situation where she made a baseball slide dropkick that got a gasp of surprise from the crowd since it was her best display of athleticism for the moment.
It turned out Anne wasn't that great at all the measuring distances, not yet at least. Her kick impacted on Freezer and sent the white-haired down once again, but when the Phoenix just had to lose momentum and gracefully set her feet outside the ring she noticed how she had been a little bit overzealous in her drive. "Whoa!-" Not capable of sticking the landing she strumbled a little, even falling on her butt but quickly regaining her footing, unintentionally giving Freezer some instants to recover.

Re: Anne Misaki Erhardt [D] vs Freezer Katakura - Fire vs Ice
This was a bad situation, but Freezer had been in bad situations before, despite what one might think from her usually unflappable demeanor. Pain was transitory, it would pass. It was all a matter of keeping her wits about.
She took in deep breath as she laid on the floor, refocusing and finding her sense. Anne was making an impressive rally, far more than she would’ve expected. But even the fiercest flame could only burn for so long, especially when the winter winds blew in. Freezer could withstand this, it was just a matter of endurance and patience.
In this, she was oddly fortunate, as her opponent had a less than graceful landing herself, giving her a moment’s reprieve. Freezer gladly took it, rolling to her chest and pushing up as she did her best to shake off the kick. This was too good of a window to waste.
She stayed low for the moment, waiting until Anne began to rise as well, then rushed forward, pulled Anne in by the shoulder, and pulled up her leg with the other arm, capturing her in a tight, almost loving embrace. It would only last for a moment, however, as Freezer would arch her back and toss her overhead, trying to send her flying with an Exploder Suplex - her signature move, Avalanche[/i].

Re: Anne Misaki Erhardt [D] vs Freezer Katakura - Fire vs Ice
With all the momentum and energy Anne was getting at that moment of the match it was almost ironical that it was her inability to handle that momentum what undid her, but in her push towards more and more holds and not allowing Freezer to recover, the Phoenix lost her footing and fell on her butt on the ringside, which gave the Ice Queen just the instants she needed to get up and then bide her time, waiting for the redhead to get back on her feet to get back to the match.
Once Anne was done with regaining her footing she was welcomed by a recovered Freezer, or at least a Freezer that wanted some payback and payback she was getting. With some spectacular and also a little alluring setup, almost like an embrace, the white-haired got ready for her next move and suddenly everything was upside-down for Anne who was on the receiving end of an exploder suplex, one of Freezer’s signature moves, no less! Impacting against the ringside was something way harder than the canvas and the Phoenix still had to learn that, so the moment her body hit the floor it was as if a truck hit her, most of her energy escaping her body as she remained there, watching the lights of the arena from below while trying to gather some of her bearings, but unable to get up for the moment.

Freezer couldn't see the way Anne had come down from that suplex, but she could hear the impact, well enough to know that it was a solid one. She’d executed that move enough to know when she’d pulled it off well, and that was A+ execution.
Sure enough, she sat up, spun about, and saw that her foe was fallen and aching, clearly thrown for a loop by the hard hit, her momentum halted. It would only last so long, with the way this woman recovered, but that was all the more reason to hasten things - Freezer’s plan was to end this before she had the chance to rally.
1!”
She glanced back at the ring as she stood up, recognizing the slow count, but she wasn’t too worried about it at the moment. Instead, she focused on rising, moving forward, and hounding her foe. She reached down, grabbed her foe by the head, and forced her to stand on wobbly feet. As soon as she was upright, Freezer ducked down, tackled her in the stomach, and rammed her back against the ring, continuing to target that area of her body to compound the damage.

Re: Anne Misaki Erhardt [D] vs Freezer Katakura - Fire vs Ice
This was being a complete learning experience for Anne. The debutant first got to learn about a match's dynamics and how the ebb and flow of wrestling made it so one of the wrestlers held initiative while other was on the receiving end of things until that part managed to shift the dynamic and become the one in control. Now the Phoenix was learning how nothing was set in stone concerning pro wrestling and how even when it looked like one of the wrestlers had it in their pocket a change was only literally a slip away. The same way that the Phoenix had risen from her ashes before now it was time for Freezer to retake control of the match by using the debutant's slip to recover and set a literal explosive suplex that got all the momentum out from Anne.
The next thing the Phoenix was going to learn was how an out of the ring brawl worked. The countout was pretty slow so Freezer was more than eager to capitalize from Anne's pained state. Forcing her on wobbly feet, the Ice Queen quickly tackled and rammed her against the ring's edge. "G-aaaah!!!" Anne howled in pain as her lower back was pretty strained at that point, but she wouldn't happily take Freezer's beating. Instead she would throw her elbows against the woman's sides trying to show her how she wasn't going to remain idle and let her do no matter how painful her current situation was.

Re: Anne Misaki Erhardt [D] vs Freezer Katakura - Fire vs Ice
In truth, this wasn’t Freezer’s best area, and she would be better served taking this match back to the ring. While she had done a handful of hardcore matches in her career, they were far from her area of expertise. She did her best work when she was between the ropes, staying true to her technical roots and using her expertise to whittle down her foes.
But she was bigger than Anne. Stronger. Hardier. And while she might not have been a brawler, neither was her opponent. This suited her.
”2!”
For the next eight or so seconds, anyway.
Anne, to her credit, wasn’t about to take punishment without retort, as she was quick enough to lash out after Freezer slammed her against the ring, giving her a rocking shot across the jaw that made Freezer stagger back. She didn’t stay on the backfoot long, however, and came back hard and fast, swinging her arm with a fierce knife edge chop to her foe’s chest, lighting it up with a stiff shot.

Re: Anne Misaki Erhardt [D] vs Freezer Katakura - Fire vs Ice
Being outside of the ring brawling it out wasn’t one of Anne’s interests for her career, but something she didn’t want to do was to cower in fear and flee from a challenge, so for as long as the count allowed her she would fight it on. Freezer had used the Phoenix’s mistakes against her and was now ready to go back into the fray, her moments of weakness over. Anne had to deal with that and for some instants her rival had the initiative again, but the Phoenix found some strength to throw her elbows at the white-haired and show that she wasn’t going to just take anything she had without a proper retaliation.
From there, Freezer decided to keep going with her offensive but to reduce the amount of agression. It made sense since none of them wanted to remain exhausted after that exchange, having the rest of the match still in mind. As the referee reached the count of “3!!!”, Freezer launched a knife edge chop that got Anne in the upper chest. “Ooof!” Not allowing the attack to take her aback, the Phoenix retaliated by mirroring the move with a similar sharp knife chop at Freezer’s chest, once again making a statement on how she wouldn’t go down without a fight.

Re: Anne Misaki Erhardt [D] vs Freezer Katakura - Fire vs Ice
Seven seconds left? Plenty of time. Freezer was taking pains to maximize her moments outside the ring, pouring on the pressure with her opponent, ensuring she had little room to breathe. As much as she loved Anne’s sweet little chest, it was far too tempting of a target to ignore - she just had to light it up, and she was quite pleased with the results.
Satisfied, Freezer pulled back, preparing to deliver another sizzling blow, only for Anne to show some of her teeth. The woman struck with a chop of her own, cutting into the Ice Maiden’s exposed chest and making her hiss as she stepped back. She was surprised the woman had so much fire left in her, but not unpleasantly so - she wanted more out of this match, after all.
Not to be outdone, ever, she came in again, this time raising both of her hands bringing them down at the same time, lashing into both of Anne’s breasts with a spiteful Mongolian chop.
