Blaise Cameron vs. Aaliyah Jackson - Best 2 of 3 Falls

Aaliyah was damned flexible, always had been, even before she really got into sports or wrestling in general. Never had much of a problem stretching herself into knots, and that had only gotten better since she started training for real. She’d even done some spots of yoga here and there, reaping the results.

But there were limits to everything - she wasn’t Mr. Fantastic, by any stretch. So, after the initial burst of pain Aaliyah took after that heavy hit, things grew worse and worse and worse as Blaise pushed her further down, transitioning into a sick submission move. Her body tensed up as her core was tested, and having the referee in her ear wasn’t helping things one bit. ”Eh, let me think about it NO.”

She punctuated that last word with a punch, as she brought her arm around and sent a strike flying towards Blaise’s stomach. Or his chest. Or his face. Somewhere in the upper body, she didn’t much care where exactly.

Blaise keeps the pressure on, working Aaliyah steadily downwards further and further. Her flexibility really is impressive! He's not exactly holding back here! Not by too much, anyway. He has no desire to get reckless and injure her. But he does want to find that sweet spot to get her screaming her submission and scoring him the first fall.

She still has too much sass, though! Clearly she's not hurting enough! He can tell she's getting lippy with the referee-girl due to pain, but as long as she's able to articulate sarcasm, he's not going quite hard enough! He leans in further... and gets punched for it! The wild thump lands against his ribs, earning a pained grunt. It's a short-arm strike, however, and he has her far too effectively to give it up so quick!

"Let's just wear down that body a bit more!," he shouts down at her over the clamor of the crowd. His hand leaves her thigh in favor of raising, then bashing downwards with a hammerfist aimed to collide hard with her unprotected abdominals. Immediately after the impact, he turns his hand flat and spreads his fingers across her belly, feeling out the girl's defined, packed abs - singling out the toned ridges of her muscles - before suddenly pressing in with the fingertips, clenching on the defenseless, taut abdominals in a stomach claw!

Submission holds. If there was one aspect of wrestling that Aaliyah absolutely hated, it was submission holds. She wasn’t too crazy about applying them, even though they had their uses, but being in one was a special torment she had no patience for. Being in one meant she had to sit and suffer, wallowing in her misery, while she got twisted into knots in front of an audience. Not a situation she cared for.

Blaise made it notably worse than usual, though, when he gave her a solid shot in the stomach, putting her ab work to the test. Her body tensed up, pained jolting through it, and the claw came on her skin. Digging deep into her body, stirring up the muscles, felt like she was cramping…

Yeah, screw all of that. Aaliyah wanted out of this right the hell now.

With her legs free, she saw her chance and took it. She curled and swung her knee in arc, aiming to hit Blaise in the side of his face and get herself free. She didn’t have a step two in mind just yet, but she’d think of something.

This particular nasty bit of business is the result of not only a latent desire to test Aaliyah's abs in a very direct way, but also to work a strategic advantage over her in the match. The core muscles effect everything; from lifting, to running, to kicking out of a pin. Weakening and breaking down that strength early would serve him well in this match, especially with it being what it is. But he is admittedly enjoying exploring the toughness of her stomach. She's got great abs! It can't be helped!

The knee, however, is a solid way to put a stifle in those plans. She connects with the side of his head, disrupting the balance and spilling her to the mat. He, meanwhile, hits the mat on his side in a daze. He props himself up on an elbow and gives his head a quick shake to try to clear the daze before she can exact her vengeance.

"Hah.. hah.. what's the problem..? I'd almost believe.. that hurt!," he teases between breaths. Of course, there's no doubt whatsoever in his mind that the gripping and clenching of her abdominals was pure torture, especially paired with the backbreaker position.

Ow. Just ow.

The Stomach Claw, probably one of the most deceptively effective moves in all of wrestling. Aaliyah had never suffered one before, but she’d seen it done, and it always looked a bit silly. On most wrestlers, it probably wouldn’t work all that well, with most of them having too much fat for someone to get at the muscle within.

Unfortunately for Aaliyah, her six-pack was an easy target. Served her right for doing too many situps. Damn.

Even though she’d escaped the hold, she was still feeling it as she flopped off Blaise’s knee and hit the floor, like little daggers digging into her skin. The pain would go away, but until it did, her options were limited. The high-flying was off the table for a little while.

Didn’t mean she couldn't do anything, though. Gravity was still her friend, and she called on him again as she stood up, took a quick look behind her to establish where her opponent was, then hopped backwards, kicked her legs out, and came down on his chest with an elbow drop, making sure to drive the point hard into his ribs.

Blaise rests there on the mat on his side, frame rising and falling heavily with each breath. A wry smile continues to play on his face, terribly pleased with himself after that little exchange. He can still feel the grooves and tightness of Aaliyah's abs against his hand, his fingers - there were no kid gloves involved. He can hope the pressure was enough to do some lasting damage for the night, to create a solid opening. Playing the long game.

Speaking of long, it strikes him that Aaliyah hasn't answered. She's not chatterbox like her cousin, but he'd come to expect some level of sass or retort from her. She's probably still reeling, right? His head tilts to try to look across towards her - only to find she's worked her way up to her feet and in the process of launching back at him!

"Whoawhoawh-"

Blaise quickly turns over onto his back, trying to get his arms up defensively, but the angle of her approach is too chaotic. The point of her elbow drives in against his ribs, forcing him to curl inwards against her with a hard, "Hrrk!" If left to his own devices, he'll twist over onto his side protectively, eyes squeezed shut.

Aaliyah wasn’t all that heavy, probably on the low end of the middleweights, but she knew how to use what she had to devastating effect. A little gravity applied correctly could work wonders, and she demonstrated that when she drove her elbow deep into her opponent’s chest, driving him hard into the floor and knocking all the wind clean out of him.

He was reeling, and she had the upper hand, for now, at least. What was she going to do with it?

She wasn’t in any condition to go for a big flying move, but that didn't mean she was out of options. A particularly nasty one was coming to mind, too, and as she rolled away from him, she decided to go for it. Best to score the first fall as early as she could.

Aaliyah held her hand high, a signal to the audience that something big was coming, and took her position in the corner behind Blaise. She dropped into a crouch and took care to stay behind him as he made his way up, trying to stay just out of sight, keeping her target locked.

When he was up to his knees, she pulled the trigger. Aaliyah rushed towards him at full speed, reeling her arm back, and let flying with a slicing chop aimed at the back of his skull, one delivered with all the power and momentum she could muster - her finishing move, the Secret Strike.

The match thus far had been a whirlwind, and perhaps it's his own fault for not immediately taking her as a full threat. The evening started out playful, in fact. He liked her when he stepped into the ring. Granted, he still likes her. He just likes her, with an added dose of intense pain in his sternum, and various other places. But he's thinking she made an error, not going for the cover right there. He likely would have. A quick three-count on a stunned body in a match that calls for multiple falls - it would've made sense.

He would've struggled to kick out of it, of course. But nevermind that.

She made an opening, and he intends to take it. Turning over onto hands and knees, Blaise takes in a few hard, ragged breaths with his head held low. Finding no noticeable movement on the mat, no telltale thumps, he takes a few extra breaths to ease himself and try to relax the elbow he took. But not too many. He doesn't want to make the same mistake she's committing, after all.

He pushes himself to his knees and focuses his gaze on the ring ahead. But there's no Aaliyah. No dark-skinned beauty to set his targets on. That's when the footsteps rumble behind him. And then, a sharp pain in the back of his head pitches it forward, then back in a limp bob, before the young man falls forward heavily. He lies flat on his chest on the mat, eyes shut.

Could Aaliyah have gone for the pin off of that? Sure. Might have even worked. No guarantees, she would give it a 50/50 chance, but hey, she’d worked with worse odds.

Today, though, she wasn’t in a mood to take too many chances, however. With the match so far, Blaise was proving to be a real threat, proving that his win against Yo-Yo hadn't been a fluke - not that she needed that confirmation, but it was nice to have, all the same. Taking him seriously meant hitting him with the big guns, and her guns didn't get much bigger than this.

One strike to the back of the head. Put him down. Always did. Simple and effective, but stylish. Right up her alley.

With him down, the only thing left for her was to pick up the pieces. She dropped beside him, rolled him over, pulled up his leg and leaned on his chest for the count, smiling down on him while the referee slid over to start it up.

For Blaise's part, he couldn't appreciate any style points Aaliyah was racking up here. The audience certainly could; it looked like an execution, from where they were seated. But Blaise's world is just an intense throbbing pain radiating in his head, dulling his senses.

He's rolled over, his muscled body transitioning limply onto his back with his arms resting flat on the mat along his sides. His eyes rested shut, mouth hung slightly open, and toned, defined pectorals rising and falling heavily with each labored breath. He feels her arm hook his leg first, lifting it into the air. Then there's the weight of her body leveraging against his bare chest, each breath pressing him rhythmically into her, his heart pounding against her.

His eyes don't yet open. He's too dazed for that. For Aaliyah, he would appear fully defeated under her; her conquest.

The referee slaps the mat the second time beside his head. "TWO!"
