Wyvern was wrong on two counts.
Firstly, he wasn’t apologizing. At least, he hoped that wasn’t the message he was conveying, because, as she said he had nothing to apologize for. Win or lose, that was how the fight went, and while he wasn’t satisfied with the outcome, he wouldn’t fault himself for taking advantage of an opportunity.
Secondly, she wasn’t weak. Even though the match was a mere shell of what it could’ve been, he couldn't use that to describe her. His body had more than enough bruises to attest to that fact.
But she wasn’t in the mood for a pep talk, and Aizen wasn’t the man to give it to her. He’d seen a fire in her eye a moment ago, this burning turmoil that threatened to spill out to everything around her. He’d thought it would pour out over him, too, but no - this was directed inward. The fire was there, but she wouldn’t quench it by attacking him. Not here.
She accepted the challenge, as he knew she would. Aizen had ideas for their next encounter, but he would let them sit for a while before committing to them. They both needed time.
And so, nothing more needed to be said, save for a few parting words. ”I’ll be waiting.” Aizen closed his eyes and gave her a solemn bow. ”Take care, Wyvern-san.”
Aizen turned on his heels and promptly walked away, leaving Wyvern alone once more. They both had preparations to make, and he didn't’ see the point in wasting another moment of her time
