"Tch..." Rolling her eyes at both the idea of taking the role of trainer and instantly going for gold, Diana leaned one side onto her rest as she seemingly looked off into the distance, or perhaps to simply gaze at the collection of other wrestlers in the gym alongside them.

"Ain't nobody want, or need my training. I'll focus on my own stuff. Right now a debut wouldn't go a miss to start with. God knows I need to put on a good one given the crap I started..." Pondering for a moment as she recalled to declaring herself number one contender, Diana for a moment pondered the concept of getting said debut match against one of the many that came out to deny her. Alaina was obviously one idea, but given her long-time friend had now escaped the middleweight division thereby was in no way a middleweight title contender, she felt the match somewhat unfitting. That, and she had every intention of facing her biggest rival again in a much more grander scheme.

Alaina raised an eyebrow and looked at Diana. "Well us worked well with Tina and partners like her are so energetic that they end up helping you raise your game too." Alaina said with a shrug.

She knew she could get Diana ideas for a fight, and she wanted her friend to have the debut she deserved. "I would say go for a middleweight ya called out. Go for broke and out them in their place. What do you have to lose?"

"All in time.." Diana smirked, stepping behind Alaina as if to mockingly rub her shoulders, given the strain on her body from that quick overexertion. "It ain't going anywhere. Might aswell let someone else hold it for me whilst I have fun. Maybe your little student herself..."

Smile growing bigger, Diana resumed her position behind the press, given she expected Alaina would be here for a while.

"Sorry in advance for the sour mood she's gonna be in..."

Alaina laughed as she rest down again for a fifth set. "It is all right, she is a hot head but she means well. She will get over it." Alaina said as she reached up, tightly gripping the bar. She took a deep breath and lowered the bar, exhaling as she pushed up again.

Alaina wanted to squeeze out another 15. She made it to ten and her arms were wobbling, her teeth bared. Alaina managed to get 11 done and number twelve was looking very iffy. The bar was raising slowly off her chest, and her arms almost seemed to stall out. "Might need help with the last reps...." Alaina said to her spotter.

Somewhat diving in, arms braced and ready to take the weight from her, Diana's staunch posture combined with the fact the Italian was completely fresh gave Alaina more than enough aid in pulling the weight from her. "We'll see I guess.." She'd grunt, pulling the weight with mild difficulty still back onto its rest, before shaking off her arms. "Best case for that I think, is a full-on match between me and her in the ring. If she's up for it, that is, and she doesn't mind taking a loss..." Diana laughed, without a hint of sarcasm. "Ain't having another debut start with a zinger.."

Alaina laughed when Diana mentioned the match, and if Tina would be up for it. "All ya have to do is challe he her and she will answer. She won't back down from anything at all. She is gearing up for the Middle weight tourney, so it would be a great chance to test herself against title caliber opponents and she knows it."

Alaina took a few deep breaths before sitting up and looking at Diana. "All right, it's a good push day and I think pec flys with a shoulder press are next." Alaina said drinking some water and eager to continue. "Unless you wanted to do some sets at the beach press."

Nodding at the idea of benching herself today, Diana simply played follower, walking alongside Alaina as they switched stations.

"Yeh, but say I beat her. She gonna sulk? She didn't seem too much of a great loser in that spar we had.."

Alaina set up, grabbing 50lb dumb bells and sitting on an incline seat. Ten reps of flys, then ten of shoulder presses. Three sets just like that.

Alaina began and focused on her form, going slowly but properly. "She is just intense. She wants to be the best and when she gets home she generally watches a lot of tape to analyze things which is surprising given how she acts sometimes. She is just a 19 year old being a 19 year old."

Watching, seeming unimpressed given it was pretty much expected of Alaina at this point, Diana's eyes rolled across the masses of the gym, seemingly eyeing up competition.

"She ain't the worst I guess. Certainly not compared to some of the old clowns we ran with..." Pondering for a moment on past encounters, Diana seemingly became lost in thought. "I'd still say that last match I had with you was one of the best..probably one of the few I was proud of back there."

Proper form, controlled breathing. And, done. Alaina finished up the first set and looked up at Diana.

"Yeah? It was a he'll of a fight. I had a lot of good fights over the years but yours always stand out among my best. I guess part of me got a bit mad when we were compared. You were the 'younger, newer version of a more technically sound Alaina' according to I don't know how many analysts." Alaina said, drinking a bit of water between sets.
