Two unstoppable forces clash! - Harper Adams (D) vs Janet Wiilams (D)

Harper was in a pivotal moment in which she needed to press further and capitalize on her current edge so she could get some serious damage done to Janet, but things weren’t fated to go that way since the moment the greenette threw her body and weight forwards in her strike her arm got caught by Janet and all her momentum was used against her in a takedown.

Hitting the mat with her back, Harper didn’t have the time to properly react as Janet straddled her. That was pretty bad. From that position the pale woman could start a pounding session that could end Harper’s options for the match. The first thing Harper did was raising her arms in an attempt to protect her head from impacts, but that was only a provisional solution since it didn’t end her predicament and the damage to her arms could prove fatal for her chances that night. Harper tried to protect herself as best as she could while shifting her hips in order to make more difficult for her rival to maintain balance and maybe switch positions with her.

There were no arm drags, springboard attacks, Or dropkicks. This had become just a plain, good old fashioned fight. Though there were sprinkles of actual skill mixed in every now and then. Janets takedown of Harper being a prime example of it, only for it to be forgotten as the pale woman immediately followed by mounting the greenettes midsection and proceeding to rain blow after devastating blow onto her opponents head.

Harper for her credit managed to bring her arms up in time to block most of Janets blows, but that was all she could do. The Jet held all the cards as she used her position to brutalize the greenette in any way possible. Mainly with just her fists. Though that didn’t mean Harper was making it easy for her as the pale woman would constantly have to shift her balance to maintain her control as the greenette tried to buck her off like a raging bronco!

Bucking wildly like a beast wouldn’t be enough for Harper to get rid of her rival. Janet had a steady position straddling on top of her and not even her more furious thrashing could make her fall or switch positions. From where she was Harper faced a predicament: she couldn’t remain like that for too long. Eventually the damage on her arms would be too big to keep with her guarding and she would start getting the punches on her head instead, which was a one way trip to a nasty knockout and the end of the match.

No. Harper couldn’t fall like that. She needed to do something and quickly. Tired of being on the defensive, Harper decided she really wanted out of that situation, so she would start using only one of her arms to protect herself while she would use the other to throw repeated punches at the side of Janet’s midsection. Of course that meant she was going to receive some good hits to the head, but she was making that bold move in hopes that it would serve her to finally buck Janef off her.

There were many in the crowd beginning to wonder if this brawl was starting to get out of hand. Sure Janet may have been on top, but her opponent refused to give an inch and the two women were once more exchanging brutal blows with one another. Though it was clear that the Jet had the advantage at the moment as her punches rained on Harpers head one after another.

But the blows to her midsection were beginning to add up. And contrary to popular belief, there were actually quite a few vital areas in ones midsection that could be damaged rather easily with enough given force. Eventually Janet decided to simply cut her losses and try something new, which was why she would suddenly stand up to her feet with a final attempted curb stomp on Harpers head before backing away with a hand covering her abdomen.

Things were starting to really go south for Harper. No matter what getting hit in the head was never an desirable option and Janet was really good at getting the most out of each punch. Harper was feeling like a couple trucks ran over her, starting to feel some disorientation and the lights dimming as her vision was a little blurry from the barrage of hits. Even despite this severe punishment the greenette managed to throw some more than decent punches to her rival’s midsection, the urgency to escape that position was so big Harper put all her strength in those hits.

It worked. After what it felt like an eternity of pummeling Janet stopped with her punching. Harper rested her head on the mat exhaling a sigh of relief, her vision still blurry and really feeling like shit. But that wouldn’t be the end of it since Janet capitalized the situation and executed a curb stomp. From there sounds were muffled and Harper couldn’t register any input to her body for some seconds, lying on the mat with some twitches of her body indicating that despite everything she was still on the match, if only in the verge of unconsciousness.

Janets ribs ached something fierce, and she knew that there were going to be a slew of bruises covering her abdomen tomorrow. But it seemed that she managed to walk away with the last laugh, as it looked like her curbstomp had left her opponent on the brink of consciousness. The only reason that the referee didn’t call the match now was because it was clear to see that Harper was still in the waking world. Though just barely.

This was her chance to finish things once and for all. The pale woke doubted that she would find Harper at a weaker moment than now. So after taking a moment to compose herself, the Jet wou make her way over to the greenettes body and bend down to drag her to her feet by her hair. If all went well, then when her opponent was up to her feet, Janet would cock her arm back before delivering what had to be the knockout blow of the match!

Now things were really bad, but Harper wasn't really up to registering all that. The greenete had managed to stay on the match by remaining barely conscious, but given her current condition maybe it had been better for her to stay out cold and earn that loss. After all, all that Janet had to do now was to finish her.

Even with Harper unable to get most of what was happening around her she clearly noticed when her rival dragged her back on her feet. The greenette knew what was coming and in some sort of way she knew that few things she could do to prevent it. After a final thud of pain would come the rest of unconsciousness and then some pained awakening.

But there was some fight inside Harper, some voice calling her not to let it happen and to fight back. Strengthening her resolve even with her numb senses, Harper tried to predict the hit that would surely go at her head abd dodge forwards, clinching at Janet while throwing her knee upwards with all her strength knowing that if she ever had a chance it went through damaging her midsection. It wasn't a glorious heroic stand but more like a cornered beast resolved to die fighting instead of cowering, but it was the best Harper had for the moment.

Janet knew that she had Harper on the ropes, and many in the crowd were feeling that the match was about to reach its climax. Despite the relatively short match, it had been filled with both brutality and skill from both women. But it seemed that Janet was about to emerge the victor as she pulled Harper up to her feet and cocked her arm back to deliver the final knockout blow.

Only when the fist flew, it would hit nothing but air as the greenette suddenly ducked underneath it. The Jets eyes could only widen in shock as she watched it happen. Her punch leaving her completely exposed as Harper ducked beneath her before rising back up with an uppercut aimed right for her aching abdomen. The pale woman didn’t even have time to tense herself before-

”GHRRK!!” The punch landed with quaking force! Janet could swear she felt one or two of her ribs crack as Harpers fist slammed into her! Immediately letting go of her opponent, Janet would stumble back heaving and coughing before dropping to one knee. Another hacking cough this time spilling blood onto the canvas. It wasn’t a blow to the head, but Janet didn’t know if she could keep standing if she took another blow like that.

Some part of Harper was expecting to feel the numbness of Janet’s final punch on the side of her face and the embrace of the mat, but that didn’t come to pass and to the greenette’s surprise not only she evaded her rival’s fist but her own met with Janet’s hard toned abdomen. Even with all that muscle Harper knew that her rival’s condition was as bad as hers. Maybe they were a match made in heavens, two fighters who knew what a good fight was really about. It wasn’t about getting hit the least, it was about withstanding it and getting up after each blow.

When Janet reeled back coughing in pain Harper knew what she had to do. It wouldn’t be easy, but the greenette would use all her willpower to force that voice inside her begging her to just take some seconds of respite and recover. It was a time to get bold, not cautious. Groaning what was a not so good looking cry of defiance Harper would throw all of her weight forwards, trying to gain as much momentum as possible before launching her fist towards that midsection that had taken too much from her. “Just one more punch. Keep going...”, Harper thought to herself convincing her body to keep moving just by sheer force of will.

Janet grit her teeth and tried to focus past the pain. Damnit! She had gotten careless and believed that the match was over and done with. And in doing so her opponent had managed to sneak a devastating punch past her guard that had the Jet teetering on the edge of consciousness. It felt all the organs in her midsection were struggling not to shut down from the extreme external damage she had taken. And it wasn’t doing a very good job if the blood Janet spat out was to say anything.

But she couldn’t give up! Not long this and not this close to the end. She could tell that Harper was on her last legs as well. All it would take is one final strike to finish things off once and for all. Standing back to her feet, Janet could see the greenette rushing towards her, another fist no doubt aimed for her poor belly. Janet would meet her head on with a punch of her own! One aimed for the greenettes head while hers was aimed at her belly.

It looked by would land at the same time.
