Sleeperholds and Sleepovers (Reiko and Kiyoshi)

Shit. Reiko frowned, dread plain on her face as Kiyoshi draped her legs over Reiko before pulling back on her arm and trying to go for a clean armbar. But Reiko wasn't out yet. As little experience as she had with fighting other grapplers, she still knew a few defense.

As Kiyoshi started to grab and pull back on Reiko's arm she locked her hands together, trying to literally hold Kiyoshi back from fully dropping. "I'm not tapping that easily!"

Moving her legs across Amano's body and crossing it, Kiyoshi's set up for an armbar was almost complete. All she needs to do is to lay down and pull the arm, putting pressure into it.

But Amano isn't going to stay down doing nothing, she clasped her hands together so her arm wasn't straightened. "Oh come on!" Kiyoshi then slips her leg between Amano's arms, trying to break the hold.

"You want me to tap, then work for it Kiyo-chan!" Reiko kept her hands clasped tight, refusing to give Kiyoshi her arm to lock in the armbar. She wasn't going to give her crush an easy time of it, and Kiyoshi's annoyed tone got a small smirk from Reiko. At least... until she started kicking at her arm. "Gah- Freakin'-" The sudden force broke her arms' link, and soon she felt the heated surge of pain as her arm and shoulder were stretched out.

"I'm trying!" Kiyoshi tries to separate Amano's arms by pushing and kicking with her legs. At first it didn't work, as Amano got a good grip, but patience is the key, after repeated attempts she breaks her hold, allowing her to pull and stretch the arm, waiting for her to tap.

"Hrk-" The hold was locked in. Reiko could already feel the burning sensation in her arm as Kiyoshi stretched it out. "Aargh..." There was no escape, and Reiko wasn't so stubborn as to risk her arm in a sparring match. Kiyoshi had her locked good.

With an annoyed groaned, she started tapping at Kiyoshi's leg, signaling her surrender.

Locking the armbar in, not long after Kiyoshi stretch Amano's arm she feels her tapping, not wanting to break her arm in a spar. Releasing her with a smile but slightly worried look on her face, she asked "Are you okay? I didn't pull too hard right?"

Thankfully for Reiko Kiyoshi was no sadist. Soon after tapping she released the hold on Reiko's arm, immediately checking if Reiko was okay. She looked worried, but Reiko just gave a dismissive wave as she sat up. "Nah, I'm good. Just a little sore." She rolled her shoulder, making sure it was okay.

"Man, jiu-jitsu sure is something. Kinda' surprised you're a brown belt though."

"Thank god." Kiyoshi's relieved that Amano's alright. Then she mentioned about her brown belt in Jiu-Jitsu. "Yeah, I saw my father doing it when I was 6, and been pursuing it since then. How about you? You're doing karate right?" She's also interested in Amano's background, wanting to know her better.

"Hey, I'm not gonna' just fold over y'know. I'm a martial artist too." Reiko nudged at Kiyoshi's arm, giving a smirk.

"I did aikido first." She started. "When my family's business started picking up and we were making decent money in commissions I wanted to take martial arts. My folks recommended aikido first since it wasn't as rough as judo or karate, plus it looked cool to me. I started karate a year later to help with my anger issues and stuff. Y'know, get to punch people on the mats and not get in trouble for it." She paused for a moment, looking away. That... didn't sound as petty in her head. "Anyway, took karate pretty well, got my brown belt after 3 years, but... I'm kinda' stuck there now."

Kiyoshi would occasionally nod while listening to Amano's story. There's a momentary pause when she talks about her reason for karate before she continues. Kiyoshi wanted to ask more about her anger issues, wondering for the reason and thinking that maybe she could help, but she decided not to because it seems like a sensitive topic. She then encourages her, "I'm sure you'll pass in no time."
